Excellent

Superb location right on the marina but it is not facing the marina so you don't hear any noise at night time. The apartment is very modern and well maintained, large size for 2 people with a nice living area and has full kitchen facilities. Balcony is long and a little narrow but still big enough. The pool area is easily accessible and was never very busy during our stay (end of June-early July) which was nice but surprising. Abundance of restaurants on the marina and even more in Vilamoura town itself. After checkout we needed somewhere to leave our luggage which the property manager kindly obliged, allowing us to leave our luggage at a nearby property with no problem.

Overall we had a great stay the apartment was great for the money other than the air con

No breakfast we were self catering, The location was fantastic, Situated on the front of the marina, With easy access to the bars and restaurants, Within a 2min walk

The location was fantastic , The only thing that was disappointing was the air con In the main room did not work and the apartment was cold all the time I did report it to the housekeeper But we didn’t hear back from anyone

Clean, spacious apartment behind Marina with a few niggles.

Spacious and clean apartment - perfect for 2 people who want to be close to the Marina and restaurants. The pool and garden were lovely and although the balcony was a decent size the 2 wooden chairs and small table were not the best or comfortable. The shower was good although I was expecting a bath as per photos. Stayed 10 days - towels and sheets changed mid-way. Communication was good via messages. Despite being close to the action it was a nice quiet apartment on 6th floor at end of hallway.

Hoped for bath as photo but has been changed to walk-in shower. No TV in bedroom as appears in photos. Would have been nice to have some basics in kitchen like oil, salt, pepper etc having paid over £1100! Also some sunbeds would be good and if more than 2 people staying - not sure if sofa was comfy as bed. No full-length mirror and not enough sockets - 2 in bathroom were usable but not ideal.

Great stay, lovely location and lots to do around

Great location, lovely spacious, modern apartment. Quiet pool area with good amount of beds. Locals and tourists on site. Out of the elevator and literally 10steps onto the Marina!

Great location

Property was clean, sufficiently stocked for self catering, and facilities including the shower were excellent (a previous review refers to poor shower but owners obviously addressed that). Location is excellent, in the heart of the marina and overlooking on the right side so as to avoid any disturbance at nighttime.

Balcony is small but sufficient for 2 people, table and chairs on the balcony are a little worn and could do with a refresh, along with perhaps a relaxing Chair which could be brought out into the balcony, but there is little to work with size wise on the balcony and owners have made the most of it.

Pleasant stay in a well appointed, clean, comfortable ideally located apartment in the Marina area.

Spacious apartment, excellent location, very well equipped kitchen, extra towels & bedding, very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean rooms

WiFi didn't work, entrance corridor was quite dark, balcony furniture wasn't good & not in keeping with the standard of the rest of the apartment, TV was too small for the large living room

Vilamoura Marina

The apartment is on the marina but facing the gardens and pool so is ideally situated but away from the crowds and noise. Very clean and well appointed with a large bed and nice linen. AC is good. Sofa bed is good but you obviously lose a sofa to sit/relax on unless you pack it up every morning. Host is responsive by what’s app so easy key pick up, and responded to our need for a few things. Decor is pale, very minimal and new short is good in a big bathroom. Balcony is lovely space. We have recommended it to friends.

Host doesn’t provide pool towels which I would have liked to have known as I’ve not had to pack those for decades and we wanted to use the pool. We had to ask for more indoor towels and toilet paper as these were absolutely minimum in our view. the hand soap container in the bathroom was empty. For us no point being there if it’s empty. There were also no covid type extras like hand gel or wipes or any covid info regarding Portuguese rules. This was ok for us as we had it and were visiting friends but you need to bring it or ask friends or research about the social distancing rules. Despite the above we would stay again and have recommended the apartment to friends here.

Fabulous location, clean and easy - we'll book again

A very good sized, modern and clean apartment, with one bedroom and a long thin balcony overlooking the pool. We stayed for 2 nights before flying home. A brilliant location, right on the marina means no long walks at night, but as the room faces the pool it was quiet and has very little noise. The only noise in fact was the group of women next door who came in at 2.30am both nights - but you can get that anywhere. The owner was very active on Whatsapp from about a week before, checking our arrival times and ensuring we were met by the lovely Rita. They sent pictures etc and told us how to enter the private car park and exactly where to collect the keys etc. The room was beautifully clean, we didn't stay in to eat at all but the kitchen looked to have great facilities and the large island unit would mean lots of space for meals/drinks. We didn't go to the pool as we are beach lovers, but it looked quiet and peaceful and we would have tried it if we had been there longer. It may also work well if it's windy as it's very protected. Yes, we would definitely return again.

The only slight downside would be the shower is a little dated and it would look better if it were replaced, however it is quite a strong flow with lots of hot water.... The ventilation in the bathroom isn't working so it took a while for the mirror to clear. As there's only one mirror in the whole of the apartment it wasn't easy to do hair/makeup after showers. Only small niggles though, everything else was great
