Lovely property overlooking the sea with a nice terrace upstairs.

Caye Caulker is very small so it's easy to walk everywhere. We had a room overlooking the sea and palm trees which was very beautiful. Like most properties on the island, it is quite basic but had everything we needed.

Our room was quite dark and as we were on the ground floor we couldn't have the curtains open all the time.

Great location and wonderful staff

The value for the location can't be beat. Walk to all the best spots on the island. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Good bed and A/C. Complimentary kayaks. The staff really made this place 5 stars, though. Always kind and helpful and flawlessly arranged our transport from Belize city Airport right to our room. Would absolutely stay here again.

I don't have any complaints. While not upscale, Jan's is a really good value hotel.

I had a great time snorkeling and Jan's was an excellent room to crash in and recover each night.

The shower pressure was fantastic, the location was fantastic, and the staff was very nice. They helped me fix a mistake I made when I booked the room and were very professional dealing with my error.

Nothing jumps out.

location is great!

construction noise starts in am abd can’t sleep in - they were fixing the pier across the street and there are local guys yelling starting early in the am. a lot of dogs barking heard at night

Exceptional

The location is perfect. It’s in the main road where all the restaurants and bars are located and it’s in front of the beach. Everything is within walking distance. They did pick us up from water taxi even though it’s with in walking distance which was good because we had our luggage with us. It’s not a fancy hotel but it’s still great and very clean. The toilet paper was my favorite.

Doors are pretty thin and you can hear if people are talking loud outside.

Jan's Hotel was great for Caye Caulker. It was centrally located, near the Split.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a kitchen. It had a nice reading area and a balcony that looked out to the ocean.

A room on the second floor would have been much more private. On the first floor there are people and golf carts going by all the time.

Prime location. Excellent staff. Very nice place to stay to enjoy Caye Caulker. Would have no hesitation booking here again.

two nights two rooms

The hotel was nice good location nice size room comfortable beds

The big problem here was we booked for two nights only to be told that each night would be in a different room and we would have to check out and the re check in on the second night. At first they tried to blame booking but in the end it came out that there system does it automatically they said it was a fault but I doubt they have plans to fix it. we did get an email telling us we had 24 hours to cancel but unfortunately this again wasn’t true you have till midnight on the day of booking so by the time we got the email and investigated somewhere else it was to late

Jan’s hotel was the perfect place to stay on caye Caulker.

Jan’s hotel was centrally located, but far away enough from the big clubs that it was also quiet and relaxing. easy walk to anywhere on the island. the beach area and top patio were a great retreat. the staff were kind and professional and very helpful. check in/check out and getting to/from the airport was a breeze.

The property and staff were both good. Location is perfect- far enough from the split with no noise and really close to everything else

Friendly, lovely hotel in a very central location

This hotel is located very central to the Split (a few minutes walk), which is where the main hub of activity on the island is in the day time. It is also a few minutes walk in the other direction to lots of restaurants and bars. The staff here are so lovely and welcome and the rooms are clean and well equipped. The wifi is strong.

Nothing! Would be wonderful if there was a pool but you look out the door and there is the beach.

I would 100% stay here again!!

1. Perfect location 2. Friendly Staff 3. A/C!! Plus a balcony when you wanted to spend time outside 4. We went for my birthday and they put cute little flowers and a Happy Birthday sign up with balloons around the bed. 5. Rooftop lounge area 6. GREAT water pressure for the shower 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 This hotel was absolutely wonderful aim the best location. My best advice would be to grab some street food a block down or hit the Swing Bar for their lobster curry. Both were absolutely great! The island is the perfect size for walking everywhere and Jan’s Hotel was smack dab in the middle with a perfect view.

great place with access to everything that makes your stay great

Location to the split and restaurants was great! the staff was very friendly and helpful. they organized pick up at the watertaxi for free and brought us to the airport as well! the place was clean and had AC. it even has a small section of beach across the street to sit at an enjoy the sunrise!

Great location, clean and comfortable.

Great location, clean and comfortable rooms. They offer a ferry pick up/drop off which made getting to the hotel really easy.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Loved the service - we asked for an airport transfer and help with the water taxi. They had a driver meet us at the airport, they purchased our ferry tickets (and checked us in), and met us at the dock at Caye Caulker. Very helpful!
