Aanrader door de mooie locatie en goede service

De airco was stuk bij 30c en de kamer voelde extra benauwd aan omdat er slechts een klein raampje open kon. Dit werd echter fijn gecompenseerd met een gratis ontbijt.

Fijn, sfeervol en comfortabel, in een werkelijk prachtig oud klooster. Top!

Prachtige locatie. Een hotel gevestigd in een oud klooster, maar helemaal gemoderniseerd. Echt schitterend gedaan. De kamers waren prachtig, sfeervol ingericht. Top dat hier aan studenten het vak van gastvrijheid geleerd wordt. Je voelt je meteen welkom.

Ik kan niet iets bedenken wat me tegen viel.

Super leuk concept

Personeel, het hele concept van leren en werken is super. De locatie is perfect voor musea bezoek, ov goed begrepen rustig.

Beetje saai, weinig mensen/ bezoekers, ik heb meer personeel gezien dan gasten., geen info over Tilburg of over het leer-concept. Kamer veel te warm! Niet bepaald Eco om de badkamer op 25graden te zetten.

Eine tolle Alternative zum Standard…

Die Mitarbeiter die ich erlebt habe waren phantastisch! Das Hotel ist Ausbildungsbetrieb einer angegliederten Hotelfachschule, so dass es einen hohen Anteil junger und engagierter Servicekräfte gibt.

Das Gebäude ist ein sehr schön renoviertes ehemaliges Priesterseminar mit moderner und zweckmäßiger Ausstattung. Die großzügige Lobby lädt ein zum Verweilen…

Prima verblijf

Heerlijke brede bedden. Grote en ruime kamer. 'S avonds en 's nachts was het heerlijk stil. Vriendelijke personeel. Douche en wc apart Goede WIFI snelheid. Gratis parkeren voor de deur. Luxe douche in de badkamer met sauna.

De buurt is vrij weinig aan om rond te lopen. Het hotel ligt best ver van het centrum vandaan. 's avonds en 's nachts scheen er een schijnwerper op het hotel waarbij onze kamer behoorlijk werd verlicht. Dit hebben ze gelukkig iets verholpen door het verstellen. 's ochtends kwam het personeel binnen na de melding dat wij al uitgechecked waren. Beetje vreemd want we hadden ons helemaal niet uitgechecked.

La grandeur de la chambre et sa salle de bain (baignoire + douche). Le cadre de l'hôtel était très beau. La possibilité de louer des vélos.

La petit-déjeuner : peu de choix et beaucoup de sucre.

Very good

Absolutely great. Can't really complain, staff excellent, breakfast good, room was nice.

A little hard to find even with maps, signposting somewhat confusing and you can easily drive past and get stuck in one way road systems for what feels like forever. Air conditioner was not cooling in our room, it was exceptionally warm on our stay and the room was at some points unbearably warm. Not sure if always like this or if something was broken.

Not great but has potencial outside of the students summer vacation period.

The staff was really nice. Inside pateos great for end of the day chilling.

Breakfast was really limited. Just bread, cheese and Ham; fruit and yogurt and some other extras like Nutella-like bread spreading. When i arrived i was told that the kitchen staff students were on vacation (from July to September), so breakfast may be better when they are around. I wish this disclaimer had been made when I was booking the room - the hotel had no meal service since they don't have a running kitchen during the summer vacation period - i had planned to have lunch and dinner at the hotel on some days of my stay and that was not feasible (particularly inconvenient on the day i checked-in since I didn't eat in-route with the expectation i would do so when i arrived at the hotel). My room was on the ground floor and was the standard room; room was really outdated and super hot and the AC didn't work (it worked in the sense that i could hear it functioning, but the air coming out of it was room temperature - it was a fan and not an AC). I was in Tilburg during a particularly warmer period with temperatures reaching the high 20s or low 30s and sleeping was difficult. Also, my room faced the main road and the motorbikes at night woke me up once or twice. Finally, the boiler was broken on the day i arrived and mooning after so I had a cold shower in the morning - good thing the room was warm and the AC broken! when i checked-out the staff told me that their more high end rooms have been recently renovated and the AC works better. I may try this hotel again, for the more high end rooms and outside of the summer vacation period.

Classy modern heritage school-hotel experience

Place, service, facilities and surroundings were magnificent, very good care and attention to detail bringing both heritage and modern management together. Never seen such a perfect mix, with a Dutch relaxed touch.

I could only book spare single nights through the app rather than 2 or more nights, despite there was availability. Breakfast could have more variety, competing with other hotels, but they actually put the effort in offering quality over quantity, and the options offered included a good balance of “keto”-ish friendly or protein based dishes and some pastries without too much self indulgence. Keeping this in mind, you have a rich protein+carbs balanced to start the day. Our breakfast for 12€ was freshly made coffee served at the table, bread with garlic cheese slice, salmon and a boiled egg, freshly squeezed orange juice, home made natural yogurt with chocolate chips and strawberry marmalade, a piece of fruit (there was avocado available too) and a croissant (options available and a bit of creativity).

Clean, very spacious room, really comfortable bed, friendly staff, very good sized bathroom, good breakfast and good location for what we needed (Efteling theme park). Easy parking and free drink on arrival.

Room was rather warm, although no aircon, a fan had been provided.

A beautiful old building, high spec hotel room and very professional students working there

The location was a bit of a walk from the station, but if arriving by car or using buses (there is a bus stop almost outside), it would not be a problem. The university train station is nearer than the central one, if people are on foot. This is a beautiful old building and we really loved staying there. It is run by the students on campus and they were all very professional and helpful. Our room was lovely, with large windows and a very comfortable bed. It did not come with a kettle to make tea, but I asked at reception and they provided one straight away. There was a great coffee pod machine in the room. We were given a voucher when we arrived for a free drink at the bar, which was a nice touch. There are restaurants on campus, but I would recommend booking in advance as there was no availability when we arrived, which shows how popular they are.

There was nothing we didn't like.
