Perfekt für eine Nacht, nah an der Therme

Die Betten waren groß und gemütlich. Frühstück toll, Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

Im Vergleich zu anderen, im Normalpreis ohne Rabatte etwas teuer

Breakfast we good, enough choice

4 star hotel, no-one there when we got there, just found keys at reception. Nobody replied to my earlier messages. No info for me about the keys. Mainly checking was more than upsetting. I paid the room through booking evening before, not to have a hustle in the morning as we were cycling for all day… elderly lady at reception was more than ruth. I do speak only little german, still it was easy to understand he provocative arrogant tone ( like a I was half-idiotic ) when explaining me, that she does not see the payment. I tried to show her in app purchase confirmation also my bank deducted amount. She did not even looked properly and kept wanted me to pay with tone and behaviour of speech like I was a child (even for children I find it unacceptable). Until she finally phoned her colleague and of course they found my payment in system, just it was still not sent to them by booking. Lady on phone apologised, she was nice. Elderly lady continued to be ruth, thus from that moment with fake smile and did not apologise at all. On photos pool, pool far from property. Not at all facility for 4 stars

not what I expected from a 4-star hotel.

good location

photos on internet is a misrepresentation of how it actually looks. very low-key hotel - would not regard it as a 4-star. limited services, basics like coffee, tea, cups and glasses not in rooms, breakfast is very basic en self-help…staff friendly but cannot speak English at all.

Great accommodation

Excellent and rich breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean room. Bath bag (bath towel, bathrobe) in the room. Location near the spa.

lovely property in the country side of Styria close to Burgenland.

I loved the property itself , the rooms and beds were comfortable and the view was lovely, despite for the fog that build up over the week-end I stayed. The problem was, I was traveling solo and without a car over the week-end. I had hitched a ride with a friend from Vienna and was planing on taking public means of transport and the train back. The hotel is a family run business and no one was at the reception after 18h ever. Also the main entrance door of the hotel does not lock at night which I found strange especially since there was no attendant at night. The day I arrived, it was 17h and I was rushed in at check in and asked to go to the Therme( Spa ) so I could get a spot for the following day. I didn't have a car and it was still day-light so it was not a problem to get down the hill to the Spa on foot and make reservations. After that, I went to the closest Heurigen to grab dinner. By the time I got done (20h) it was dark and since it's the countryside there was no lights on the street. The Hotel lies passed a forest and I tried to make my way towards it but the path for pedestrians was very narrow and since I was dressed in black and every now and then cars passed by, I felt unsafe and scared to get hit by a car. I had to go back to the Spa and had them call a cab. But the cab had to come from Fuerstenfeld and as there was no shuttle service or Bus all week-end I encountered the same problem the entire week-end. Moral of the story: rent a car, you won't get too far by bus or train. The closest train station is in Fuerstenfeld, about 14k from the Hotel and the owner of the hotel had to drive me to the train station the last day as there was no buses all week-end. The property was nice, although I noticed that there was no hot water in the shower and the heaters were cold when I got there. At 50f that seemed a bit more than disappointing.
