Lovely !

Its location - lovely spacious room - with mini kitchen and bathroom

Went to run a bath and the automatic plug didn’t work. The bed was dry comfortable but pillows were uncomfortable and synthetic - Just these two small things

Had a pleasant couple of nights. Good location especially for visiting Chartsworth house.

Breakfast was not included unfortunately. Spacious room. Lovely and warm. Good view. Kitchen area great.

Shame have to pay extra for dog to stay as was not cheap to start with especially as room only. Would be nice if check was from 2pm. Bath towels too small.

Everything was brilliant Lovely views from Room 7 Brilliant breakfasts thank you We will put this on trip advisor and we will be back next year The biggest problem was the lack of parking in Bakewell as we are a blue badge holder and there was a shortage of disabled parking

The flat was perfect and our reception was very pleasant Car parking at resort was good

Lovely weekend in a lovely place.

Quiet location with beautiful view from the large window. Only a short walk to the shops and restaurants. Big comfy bed.

I would book again.

A large room, with everything you need. A good size room for a longer stay.

Noise from other rooms; ie, pipe noise etc. Need to be reasonably fit to walk to property as it is situated up a hill, but easily accessible by car.

Excellent would highly recommend

Our stay was very relaxing we have visited Bakewell many times this is the first time we have stayed here, I have already recommended staying here to many friends, great location for the centre of town, excellent atmosphere, great food and room facilities, lovely and clean fantastic stay with added bonus of beautiful scenery.

Perfect for the purpose of our visit. Only 10 minute walk into main area of Bakewell.

Overal the area was good. The hill could be a problem for some with any breathing problems.

The room was clean .

On the web site it stated that breakfast was £9.00 but in actual fact the staff member charged £12.00 each.the taps were very difficult to open and close, cleaning products ie. Washing up sponge should be changed with every new client. Overall ok but we had to ask for the room to be hoovered every day as we had two dogs. The rooms are not cleaned unless you ask, and the reason stated was due to covid, this should not be a problem anymore should it.

Location so close to the town was great, however the climb back up the hill was quite steep. The person who greeted us( didn't get his name) was lovely and very helpful and were all the team we met during our stay

The soundproofing wasn't the best so you can hear other guests moving around and talking but no major problem.

Great view of town, very close to centre of town. Plenty of parking. Very quiet and pretty location.

No good if you are not fit and have any walking issues. You will need to drive to this location. Surrounded by very steep roads and footpaths.

A great stay away with the dogs

Lovely staff, very friendly. Room was fabulous, loads of room, very clean with all amenities provided. Faultless.

Only downside for me was the fact it was up a slight hill which I struggled with on the way back up, only because I'm asthmatic. So I would say not suitable for people with mobility or health issues.

Bakewell is a lovely village, although to my surprise a tourist trap, particualy on a bank holiday. The village and the accommodation are very dog friendly and noticeable in the amount of happy pooches and owners browsing around the shops. The village has every amenity and beautiful buildings with stone elevations set in glorious scenery. A real gem of a village with a surprisingly good Monday Market. The accommodation is well situated to explore the village and its wider geographical setting, although on a steep incline, therefore you will need sturdy shoes to accommodate walking up and down the hill. Not a problem, for those of average fitness and young at heart.

The accommodation does suffer from noise of other holiday makers, as one's ability to suffer others is gently tested, but not too troublesome. . In all fairness the entire block checked out, (Bank Holiday) except us and the staff and so we were left in almost solitude. My only criticism of any value is that the accommodation would greatly benefit from upgraded crockery and a better selection of drinking glasses. We purchased our own mugs for hot beverages as the cups were tiny and beer drinkers will want to bring pint glasses.

Great location, comfortable accommodation & welcoming hosts.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and the accommodation very comfortable. Everything had been thought of in the room, especially in the kitchen area with washing up liquid, tea towel & cloths. Plates, glasses cutlery and tea/coffee/sugar/milk sachets. We ordered a cooked breakfast on our first morning which was delivered to our room & beautifully cooked, well worth the treat. The location is perfect and a short walk from the centre of Bakewell with plenty of places to eat and shops to visit. If you like walking there are some superb walks from Sleep Lodge & Chatsworth House a short distance from the town.

Friendly welcome, great facilities made exploring a lovely area even better. Would definitely stay again.

Quiet, comfortable, very well equipped and very convenient to town. Particularly good to have kitchen area. Parking useful too in busy town and restricted streets.

Five mins away from town.. Perfect. Accommodation was fantastic! We will definitely return. Linda that met us and showed us to our accommodation told us she had upgraded our room., brilliant! Lovely staff, was really made to feel welcome. This place is definitely worth a stay! Thankyou again.
