Worst

Room directly close to the laundry room, they started working at 6 in the morning. Also the walls are so thin, that you can hear your neighbors snoring. I asked for another room, they denied. Also a discount they didn’t wanted to give. Every hostel stay was better then this hotel.

This was simply awful.

Staff was helpful and kind. Good location

Room was very small. Very hot. Outlets did not work. Floors were filthy. Bed VERY hard. Bathroom was a huge step up/down which we found dangerous. Only cold water in the sink. Shower was very small with fixed shower head which sprayed out into the bathroom and under door into living area we had to step down into. Had to stand half in and half out of shower stall just to get half a shower.

Comfortable and convenient stay with BEAUTIFUL and serene courtyard.

The plant filled courtyard is so beautiful! The beds had 4 pillows each, which felt very lovely and luxurious. It’s so convenient that there’s a kitchen and a refrigerator for guests to use. We really appreciated the coffee ready in the courtyard at 6:30AM. The staff courteously allowed us to securely store our luggage after checkout while we climbed Volcán Acatenango.

The air freshener or cleaning products left a very strong smell in the room, but we were able to solve it by opening the windows and running the fan while we went out to dinner.

De locatie van de accommodatie was super! Het personeel heeft ons goed ontvangen en was erg vriendelijk. Ze hebben ons zelfs nog een beetje gematst toen wij een verkeerde boeking hadden gemaakt. We hadden een nacht te veel geboekt. Deze konden we kosteloos verplaatsen naar een later moment, aangezien we nog terug kwamen in Antigua.

Het was echt verschrikkelijk gehorig op de kamers, er geen warm water voor het douchen en er zat heel veel verschil in de kwaliteit van de bedden. Het ene bed was prima, maar het andere bed was echt keihard.

Wonderful hotel to stay at while enjoying this amazing Guatemaltec cultural town.

This hotel is gorgeous! The entrance, the fountain, the vegetation, the room, the roof… Very peaceful and welcoming. All is such a treat the the senses! Wonderful location too!

Not a good place to sleep

I liked the location, price and courtyard.

The quality of everything was very poor in the room. The sheets and towels were very thin. The room smelled. It was so loud that I couldn't sleep for my two night stay. A light from the courtyard came into my room even though the curtain sheet covered the window.

can be very noisy when groups are waking up early waiting for transfer (especially if there are groups from US), as the courtyard echos due to the characteristic of the building

Nice and clean, noisy though

Wonderful rooftop terrace, good wifi, hot water.

No breakfast in the hotel, and noisy (the acustics of the building - you can hear pretty much everything that is going on in the corridor - hence, you will not sleep long, for a short stay it is really good though - the view from the rooftop terrace is spectacular :) And one more remark - we talked with some fellow traveler about the Russian agression in Ukraine and were asked... not to discuss this topic - as it made the russian guests feel uncomfortable... I find it pretty outrageous. Especially in a country that also did suffer from violence. You guys should stand with Ukraine not with the agressor!

Overpriced basic place to stay.

The location and the staff were great.

The room given to us was next to the maids room and next to the laundry room so you could here the staff chatting all the time and the laundry machines working all day since very early in the morning. If you are planning to have a nice rest until late it won’t be possible because all the noise that can easily be heard from the outside. The value of the stay was way too high considering it is a very simple and basic hotel room and not very comfortable beds. Linens and towels were old.

Not worth it, uncomfortable stay.

Friendly staff. About two blocks away from the central square.

The worst bed of my life, the floors are more comfortable. The shower is so small I had to fight with the shower curtain at all time. The ceiling fan was loose and it seem that it was going to fall from it’s place.
