About this house rental
In a quiet and residential area, this contemporary house of 175 m² from the 2000s is ideal for family holidays.
Located on a plot of 2,200 m² on the edge of a small canal, widely open to nature, not overlooked and fitted out with a swimming pool with a whirlpool area. The house is surrounded by 200 m² of wooden terrace, arranged in different spaces conducive to relaxation, including a covered part ideal for taking your meals prepared on the plancha, as well as a pontoon along the canal.
The house consists of a large living room overlooking an open kitchen. Large bay windows give access to the terrace and the garden. The sleeping area is composed on the ground floor of 3 bedrooms, 1 with shower room, a bathroom with wc and a separate wc. Upstairs a mezzanine "relaxation corner" overlooks the living room and gives access to a children's room with 2 single beds.
The beach is accessible:
- on foot in 30 minutes by forest paths
- by bike in 10 minutes via the cycle track (la Vélodysée) which is 50 m away
- by free shuttle
- by car
A lively market takes place every Sunday morning in the city center: you can buy many fresh and local products or even organic.
A mini supermarket open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., 7 days a week can make your life easier.
Ondres is a small town ideally located halfway between Bayonne-Biarrtiz and Hossegor-Capbreton. A motorway entrance 5 km away will allow you to discover the Landes, the Basque Country as well as reach Spain in 30 minutes.

A deposit of 2000 euros will be requested on arrival and returned on departure if no damage is found.

Excellent séjour à Ondres
Nous étions 8 jeunes de 21 ans et avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est suffisamment grande pour 8 personnes. L’emplacement est idéal puisque proche de l’ocean et à quelques minutes du pays basque!

A beautiful house, fabulous pool and large tranquil garden. Simply stunning!
We have just spent a wonderful week at this beautiful house in Ondres and would go back tomorrow! There were 4 adults and 4 children aged between 5 and 10, we had plenty of space both in the home and garden and the house is excellently equipped providing everything you could need. Mme Baylac and family were very welcoming and made us feel so comfortable in this stunning house.
A wonderful kitchen, BBQ and outside eating area which caught the last of the sun's rays enabled us to enjoy many special family meals. We all loved the pool which was warm and beautifully kept. The children had lots of space for games in the garden which backs on to a shallow canal. Decking and seats in this part of the garden allow you to rest and watch the sights and sounds of nature. There is also a beautifully decorated caravan in the garden which the children adored and made their second home!
Inside, the property is stunning with a fabulous open plan living area. Lots of books and games kept us entertained and there is also a bedroom off the mezzanine which is filled with more toys. The bedrooms are all beautifully decorated and comfortable with plenty of storage space in each.
We loved exploring this area of France with Ondres beach a 10 minute drive away or a short cycle or walk through the forest. We also visited San Sebastian, Biarritz, Bidart, the nearby water park and took le Train de la Rhune from Sare which was stunning.
We can't recommend this fabulous home highly enough, somewhere to relax in the beautiful tranquillity of the home and garden. We will be taking many wonderful memories with us.

Un séjour très agréable dans une maison spacieuse et lumineuse

Tolles Haus mit großem Garten
Tolle Lage, perfekt für Strand (geht gut per Rad, zu Fuß für die Kinder zu weit) und auch für die Berge (die Pyrenäen sind in gut 1h erreichbar!). Sehr ruhig mit einem sehr großen Garten und schönem Pool.
Das Haus ist wirklich komplett und liebevoll eingerichtet mit allem, was man so braucht. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Von den drei Schlafzimmern sind 3 tauglich für Erwachsene, das obere ist nur für Kinder optimal (Mezzanine, niedrige Decke). Küche mit Induktion, für draußen separate Kochmöglichkeit auf Plancha, sehr viele Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten im Haus und auch draußen. Man findet immer ein schönes Plätzchen in der Sonne oder im Schatten.
Zum Haus gehören auch einige Tiere: Eine Katze kommt täglich zum Fressen. Sie bleibt aber außen und kommt nicht ins Haus. Daneben ist noch ein kleiner Stall auf dem Grundstück, in den Kaninchen und Schildkröten leben. Unserer Jüngsten hat es sehr gefallen, die Tiere zu füttern.
Das Ehepaar Baylac ist sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Uns hat es hier sehr gefallen und wir würden gerne nochmal nach Ondres kommen!

Belle maison avec toutes les commodites
Nous sommes venus courant août avec nos amis et nos filles de 4 ans. Ce fut parfait avec les beaux volumes de la maison, sa décoration, la piscine, les différentes terrasses, la plancha, les animaux et la proximité de la plage et de Biaritz. Le beau temps n a pas toujours été au rdv mais nous avons beaucoup apprécié le pays basque avec ses marchés gastronomiques et ses couleurs ... je recommande vivement...
