Holiday home by the sea, on the north-weast coast of Sicily. It is on the main street of Alcamo Marina (Trapani), a seaside resort near the popular tourist town of Castellammare del Golfo.
The house is 40 meters far from the beach, with a view over the Gulf of Castellammare. It is on the first floor of a two-family house, with private entrance and private open air space and parking space. It is new and very bright, it has been recently renovated, all furniture is modern and all appliances are new. It is fully equipped, assuring you have everything you need, to feel at home away from home.

This is our 4th stop of several days during our Sicily trip, and has been by far the best. The house is just in front of the beach - amazing view and easy access to a several kilometer long beach. The house is very comfortable and clean. It is also an excellent location to visit the temples of Segueste/Selinunte, Trapani/Erice, the salt road near Masala, or Palermo. The host is also very welcoming. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful apartment. Our host was very friendly, she waited for us at our arrival and showed us around the apartment. In case of questions she was available and she provided us with useful tips regarding spots to visit.The apartment was very clean and everything needed was available. The pictures shown on the internet are realistic, we even think the apartment is larger and more beautiful than shown on the internet. The nice beach is just across the street and perfectly suitable for children.
Unfortunately, there are only very few shops and restaurants close to the apartment, but everything needed (like some supermarkets) are reachable by car within 10 minutes.

Toller persönlicher Check in! Guiseppe hat hat uns persönlich begrüßt und die Wohnung liebevoll vorgestellt! Sehr sauber und super ausgestattet. Von dort kann man den Norden sehr gut erkunden. Absolute Empfehlung!!!

Caterina and Guiseppe were very responsive and helpful hosts. This apartment is very high quality, comfortable and quiet (despite the train which wasn't a problem). Very pretty beach and a few cafes and bars. This is a great stay if you want an authentic Italian beach town without alot of tourists. I give it 5 stars but the litter and heaps of rubbage throughout the streets and beach are sad to see. Zingaro hike is pristine and a must do. We also highly enjoyed Segeste and the tram to Erice. Thank you Caterina and Giuseppe for a wonderful 5 night stay!

Schönes Appartement, perfekte Gastgeber, Meerblick
Bei unserem Aufenthalt im November hatten wir einige heftige Regengüsse und tageweise stürmisches Wetter, insofern waren wir sehr froh über die gute Ausstattung des Appartements. Es ist alles, wie beschrieben und wie auf den Fotos zu sehen und in Topzustand, Giuseppe und Caterina sind perfekte Gastgeber, die Kommunikation auf Englisch funktionierte gut, sowohl persönlich als auch über WhatsApp. Wir wurden am Ankunftstag sehr nett empfangen und alles wurde ausführlich erklärt. Bei allen Fragen während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde uns immer sofort und gut geholfen. Die Lage ist gut, man ist mit dem Auto in 30 Minuten am Flughafen, in 5 Minuten an der Autobahn, um den Nordwesten der Insel zu erkunden. Strand und Meer sind vor der Haustüre, weitere schöne Strände und Buchten gibt es in der Nähe. 50 m entfernt gibt es John Pizza, ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant, mit klassischer italienischer und sizilianischer Küche. Ein gut sortierter Supermarkt (Deco) ist in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Castellamare del Golfo ist ein schönes Fischerstädtchen und nur 6 km entfernt. Bedingt durch die späte Reisezeit hatten wir eine sehr ruhige Zeit und die Strände fast für uns alleine. Wer etwas mehr Trubel wünscht kommt früher im Jahr hier aber sicher auch auf seine Kosten. Sofern man nicht mit eigenem Auto anreist ist ein Mietwagen unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Helle, freundliche, gut ausgestattete Wohnung
Die Buchung der Wohnung bzw. die Kommunikation über Mail und/oder Telefon mit dem Gastgeber war unkompliziert, freundlich und schnell. Die Gastgeber sind super nett, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.
Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, hell eingerichtet, sehr gut ausgestattet und hat uns einen bequemen Aufenthalt beschert.

The apartment is located directly next to the beach. You can see the beach from the balcony as well from the front-bedroom. You just have to cross the street. But the street is not like a small street at the beach - it is literally the main street with lots of traffic.
To access the beach you also have to cross the railroad on an elevated crossing (lots of stairs). The train comes only 10 times per day. But the first one at 5am and with it's diesel engine it is super loud.
The beach itself is very nice. A very long bay with beautiful white sand. And no people around in the end of September. It's not a typical Italian beach with Lido after Lido only. You must bring your own beach loungers. There are a few Lidos in Alcama Marina and Castellamare, but you will need a car to get there.
We had a very nice welcome from Giuseppe und Caterina. They are very nice hosts and helped us with precious recommendations what to do, where to go, where to eat. For example the street market in Alcamo, which was very nice.
After travelling for 2 weeks around Sicily it was the perfect place to relax for some days.

Vacanza da sogno
Abbiamo soggiornato nella casa del Signor Giuseppe per un breve periodo purtroppo. La casa è davvero bellissima e pulitissima curata nei minimi dettagli, inoltre si trova in una posizione strategica ideale per visitare la provincia di Palermo e Trapani ed è rifornita di tutto il necessario! La sera si può godere della piacevole brezza marina e di tramonti incantevoli! La spiaggia di sabbia è di fronte la casa basta attraversare la strada per potersi godere una spledida giornata al mare! Posto davvero consigliatissimo ideale per famiglie e coppie! Il signor Giuseppe si è mostrato molto disponibile anche nel dare informazioni utili per visitare i luoghi di interesse! Torneremo senz’altro il prossimo anno

A perfect spot to discover North-West of Sicily
First, Caterina and Giuseppe's welcome was warm and the explanations about the equipment of the apartment very complete. The apartment is top level.
Caterina and Giuseppe provided us informations about places to visit and restaurants to try. We thank them for that too.
Olivier and I have had a wonderful time there. We fully recommend the place and we are happy with the discoveries we have done.

Super house for perfect holydays. La maison parfaite pour les vacances en famille.
The owners are super friendly and attentive (bottle of local wine, fruits upon arrival). They speak French and English which makes it easy to communicate. The house is new and clean (best of all air b & b until now) and very safe. Everything is available for a great holiday: 2 terraces (east side is sun in the morning), sea side (sun in the evening), several bathrooms. Sunbeds on the terrace for sunbathing in the morning. Every detail is well thought: for example there is a second outdoor shower to use after the beach, beach chairs, beach mats, towels, parasols and even beach toys for the kids. There is Wi Fi, TV connects to the Internet. The kitchen is well equipped. The view from the kitchen, living room and bedroom overlooks the sea. Private indoor parking. Access is very easy and convenient to visit Palermo, Marsala, Erice, etc. The beach is less than 100 meters. We highly recommend!

Les proprietaires sont super accueillants et attentifs ( bouteille de vin local, fruits à notre arrivée). Ils parlent plusieurs langues ce qui facilite la communication. La maison est neuve d'une propreté irréprochable ( meuilleure de tous les air b&b jusqu'au maintenant) et très sécurisée. Toute est à disponibilité pour passer de superbes vacances: 2 terrasses ( côté est est ensoleillée le matin), côté mer (ensoleillée le soir), la disposition de chambres, plusieurs sdb. Les chaises longues sur la terrasse pour bronzer au moment de pdj. Chaque détail est soigné et réfléchi : par exemple il y a une deuxième douche exterieure pour se rincer après la plage, les chaises de plage, tapis de plage, les serviettes, les parasols et même les jouets de sable pour les enfants. Il y a la Wi Fi, la télé se connecte à Internet. La cuisine est bien équipée. La vue de la cuisine, le salon et la chambre donne sur la mer. Le parking intérieur privé. L'acces est très facile et pratique pour aller visiter Palermo, Marsala, Erice, etc. La plage est à moins de 100 metres. Je conseille vivement !

Super schöne Wohnung, tolle Ausstattung
Ich kann diese Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen . Wie schon meine Vorgänger geschrieben haben, ist die Wohnung mit neuen Möbeln ausgestattet und super gepflegt. Des Weiteren haben die Vermieter gut mitgedacht dass sie an Flugreisende vermieten: die Wohnung ist mit einem Sonnenschirmen ausgestattet, mit Liegen für den Strand , mit Sandspielzeug für die Kinder sowie einem Hochstuhl. Desweiteren wären sogar Strandhandtücher sowohl zum drauflegen als zum auch zum Abtrocknen da gewesen, die hatten wir aber selbst dabei. :-) Da es nicht besonders viele Flugverbindungen nach Sizilien gibt kamen wir spät nachts an gegen ein Uhr. Auch das war kein Problem für unsere Vermieter. Sie haben uns auch zu dieser späten Uhrzeit noch persönlich empfangen und es sich nicht nehmen lassen uns die Wohnung in allen Einzelheiten zu zeigen. Des Weiteren haben wir viele Tipps von Ihnen erhalten was wir unternehmen können. Wir waren hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Eine kleine Anmerkung hätte ich hier doch noch zur Ausstattung: da wir als Deutsche natürlich sehr gerne frühstücken und das Brot vom Mini Markt in der Nähe leider ziemlich hart war wäre ein Toaster in der Wohnung super gewesen. Für alle Teetrinker wäre eine Teekanne super gewesen. Das ist jetzt aber wirklich Jammern auf hohem Niveau und nur als kleiner Hinweis für die Vermieter falls Sie eine Rückmeldung zu ihrer Ausstattung möchten. Wie gesagt wir waren hoch zufrieden und können die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen.

Wunderbarer Urlaub an überschaubarem Sandstrand
Der Ort Alcamo Marina liegt direkt am Meer. Von der Ferienwohnung sind es nur ca. 50m über die Straße und den Eisenbahnschienen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und sieht neu aus. An Austattung fehlt es an nichts. Großes Bad mit Dusche WC, geräumige Küche und 2 Schlafzimmer. Außerdem haben die Schlafzimmer und Esszimmer eine Klimaanlage. Für den Strand gibt es Liegen und Sonnenschirme. Außerdem ist der Strand nicht überfüllt. Es gibt eine super Pizzeria, die zu Fuss erreichbar ist. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und haben uns sogar Urlaubstips gegeben. Wir hatten einen rundum perfekten Urlaub. Gerne wieder. Alles sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Vermieter und die Wohnung waren wunderbar. Wie haben viele insider-Tipps von den beiden bekommen und ansonsten waren sie auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Die Wohnung sieht aus wie frisch renoviert und eingerichtet. Es stehen auch Sonnenschirme und Strandspielzeug zu Verfügung. Sie lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Alles in allem waren wir sehr, sehr zufrieden.

Alcamo e dintorni agosto 2019
Semplicemente desideriamo dire che l’abitazione è stupenda. Nuova, molto curata, completa di tutto e tutto funzionante. Rispetto alla descrizione siamo rimasti sorpresi scoprendo gli spazi, ma principalmente rimanendo entusiasti della vista che si gode dal terrazzino davanti, con dei tramonti mozzafiato. La spiaggia è raggiungibile in pochissimo tempo passando il sovrapassaggio della ferrovia. Spiaggia ampia, quindi poca confusione di gente anche ad agosto. Punto ideale per spostarsi a Balestrate, Castellammare del golfo, Scopello e Zingaro. Infine ringraziamo per l’accoglienza, i proprietari della casa, la loro disponibilità nel suggerirci e spiegarci come muoverci ci ha fatto godere di un ottima esperienza. FM

Excellent Property
The owners met us on arrival and took all the time needed to explain the apartment, the locall area and made us truly welcome.
The apartment is very modern, completely up todate. The location is quite and a welcome place after a busy day in Palermo and other sites. There is easy access to various beaches.
I can't say enough positive things about the apartment, the owners and Altamonte - Wemail would definitely return both to this apartment ando Sicily.

Schöne gut ausgestattete Wohnung, sehr nette Vermieter
Alcamo Marina ist in der Nachsaison sicherlich schon etwas verlassen, aber nach Alcamo und Castellamare ist es mit dem Mietwagen nicht weit.
Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet und mit so ziemlich allen Dingen ausgestattet die man benötigt. Zum Strand sind es nur wenige Meter, man muss jedoch mittels Brücke die Eisenbahnstrecke überqueren, also für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung eher nicht geeignet.
Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und überaus hilfsbereit.
Wir haben dort einen sehr schönen Urlaub in angenehmer Atmosphäre verlebt.
Wir können die Wohnung und deren Vermieter nur weiter empfehlen.

Super schöne Unterkunft!
Die Ferienwohnung können wir absolut weiterempfehlen. Sie ist modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und bietet von der Salatschleuder über eine Auswahl an Strandstühlen und zwei Sonnenschirmen bis hin zum Grill wirklich alles.
Kurz: sie ist einfach perfekt ausgestattet! :-)
Giuseppe und Caterina sind super nette Vermieter, die uns viele tolle Tipps für unseren Urlaub gegeben haben.
Die Ferienwohnung und den Strand trennen lediglich eine Straße und eine Bahnschiene und ist über eine Überführung erreichbar. Die Überführung liegt praktischerweise direkt gegenüber. Von dem kleineren Balkon und einem der beiden Schlafzimmer aus hat man einen super schönen Blick direkt aufs Meer.
Ein kleiner Supermarkt, bei dem man morgens Brötchen kaufen kann, ist innerhalb von ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Generell ist ein Mietwagen zu empfehlen, mit dem man andere schöne Strände / Städte besuchen oder auch mal zum größeren Supermarkt fahren kann. Der Flughafen Palermo ist ca. eine halbe Stunde entfernt.
Es war auf jeden Fall ein super Urlaub und wir haben die Zeit auch dank der schönen Ferienwohnung sehr genossen!

Accoglienza perfetta, i proprietari ideali
Siamo arrivati di sera e nonostante l'orario Giuseppe e Caterina ci hanno accolto nel migliore dei modi, dandoci tutte le informazioni necessarie e dettagliate sulla casa e consigli su attività e luoghi d'interesse. I proprietari alloggiavano al piano terra, noi al primo, e sono rimasti a nostra disposizione. L'ingresso dell'appartamento è separato e indipendente, il posto auto riservato è molto utile. Tutto è ristrutturato, nuovo, pulitissimo, sia l'interno che l'esterno. Al piano terra c'è una doccia, comoda per chi rientra dalla spiaggia, e un sottoscala dove riporre ombrelloni e sdraio che sono a disposizione degli ospiti. Saliti al primo piano si trova un'ampia terrazza che hanno recentemente in parte coperto, un luogo riparato per barbecue e cene in terrazzo e per asciugare la biancheria. All'interno ci sono due bagni, un ampio soggiorno, una lavanderia con tutto l'occorrente, una cucina ben attrezzata, due camere da letto e un balcone con vista mare, ottimo per le colazioni. Ad Alcamo Marina purtroppo la strada principale è molto vicina alla spiaggia e quindi alle case fronte mare, nei weekend di agosto c'è quindi un po' di via vai ma a noi non ha arrecato disturbo, è comunque possibile anche chiudere le finestre di notte e accendere aria condizionata o le ventole nuove che sono a soffitto per chi non ama l'aria condizionata notturna. L'appartamento è ben ventilato. Tanti sono i dettagli per cercare di soddisfare le esigenze di tutti: una buona TV, una buona WiFi, racchetta antizanzare (ma quasi non ce ne sono), un'ottima cucina, lavatrice e lavastoviglie, una radio, armadi grandi.. Alcamo Marina è in una posizione strategica: spiaggia ampia, libera, di fronte a casa e vicinanza all'autostrada che ci ha consentito di visitare tutta la zona (San Vito lo Capo, Trapani per raggiungere Favignana, Marsala, Palermo, Monreale, Castellammare, Mazara del Vallo, Erice). Sinceramente è una casa così confortevole che più che per le vacanze pare una casa in cui ci si possa comodamente vivere tutto l'anno e per giunta con proprietari splendidi, cosa chiedere di più?

Tolle Wohnung, perfekte Lage und nette Vermieter
Trotz mehrstündiger Verspätung unserer Fähre wurden wir herzlich von den Vermietern empfangen.
Die Wohnung ist super sauber, modern eingerichtet mit allem was man sich nur vorstellen kann. Auch für entspannte Strandtage ist alles vorhanden.
Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal da.

Perfect huis
Dit is een erg mooi huis. Schoon, ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien.
Aan de voorzijde een balkon met uitzicht op de zee en aan de achterkant een groot terras. Guiseppe is erg aardig een geeft uitgebreid uitleg over het huis en de bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. ook fijn dat er genoeg handdoeken, WC papier, vaatwasblokjes, thee, zout olie etc. aanwezig is. Je hoeft dus niets mee te nemen.

SEJOUR TRES AGREABLE ET UNE ILE A VISITER ABSOLUMENT
Maison très bien située et indépendante, très lumineuse et bien équipée avec une superbe vue sur la plage et beau coucher de soleil le soir. A proximité de l autoroute qui nous mène très rapidement à Palerme et les environs. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et disponible pour tout renseignement. Nous conseillons vivement cette location. Merci à Catarina et Giuseppe

Fantastic apartment and really great owners! Place of apartments are very good, near the sea, at apartment have all necessary things. Stay there 2 weeks with 2 kids (7 and 10 year) at october, beach is sandy, sea is fantastic! Weather, sea, fruits, history and apartments was the best from this island!!! Owners are really nice people, thanks them for good advices and hospitable!!!!

Entire accomodation is very new and moden. Well equipped kitchen. Terrace (courtyard) at the back of the accomodation with spacious space to sit outside which was a surpise for us as we just had seen pictures of the terrace/balkony at the front of the accomodation. The owners are doing everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They supported us with a lot of things and gave us usefull tips and information for getting around North and West Sicily. We hope once to come back again :)
