Seawards was lovely and we’d definitely go again. Great location, lots of outdoor space to enjoy, fun swimming from the beach, bedrooms and baths were comfortable. Patsy and Dawn took wonderful care of us and made our stay all the more enjoyable.

Mother’s Day Weekend at Seawards!
What a wonderful experience at Seawards Villa. My husband and I, along with my sister, brother in law and parents had the best time at this villa.
The villa was clean and the staff gave us the best first and lasting impression! Some of the reviews have mentioned that the beach had a reef that made it difficult to swim, but we didn’t find that at all. Right in front of the house, there is a section where the reef parts and it makes the perfect pools! At low tide, the water is perfect and you can walk out for miles!
The central AC throughout the home was a lovely relief from the hot days and the pool was the perfect size!
Thanks to Seawards and their AWESOME STAFF for this perfect stay! We will be back for sure!

Villa Seawards
We are a family of five (three teenaged boys) and booked Villa Seawards for eight days in April 2009.
Booking the villa with Chris was very well handled. The entire process went smoothly. Chris is very attentive and responds to questions quickly. He helped co-ordinate many things including transfer from the airport and arranging for food to be pre-bought and delivered to the villa prior to our arrival.
Upon arrival we were met by Dawn, the villa housekeeper. She walked us through the entire house and answered all of our questions. The house was clean and opened up for our arrival. The pre-ordered food had arrived and had been put away.
The house itself is clean, spacious and nicely decorated. A great size for the five of us. The pictures, although accurate, do not do it justice - especially the beach access and incredible view - beautiful sunsets every night.
We spent a lot of time at the villa. Not because we had to but because it was so relaxing. We went out on a few outings but always looked forward to returning.
The ladies that run the villa are amazing. Dawn, the housekeeper, kept the place clean and tidy. What a pleasure having your laundry done and neatly folded.
Kaysha, the villa's cook, kept us extremely well fed - no small feat with three teenaged boys.
If you're looking for a nicely appointed villa in an exceptional location, eating breakfasts looking over the ocean, snorkeling steps from your yard and watching beautiful sunsets with some of Kaysha's rum punch then you should seriously consider Villa Seawards.
Having had a few days to reflect on our trip, we can honestly say it was incredible.

Super Holiday
We all had a super holiday. Barbados is our favourite place and we have been a number of times and this is now our no 1 villa to go to. The staff were amazing. Both were so friendly and kind and looked after us all so so well. The villa itself is well kept and is in a great location right on the beach. You can walk to numerous restaurants from the villa as well as a small supermarket. Holetown is only a 5 min taxi ride away too so all very convenient. We will be going back next year.

Perfect Family Villa
The villa and location were perfect for our family. Seawards is as lovely as the pictures, with a swimming spot right out in front and a beautiful beach for walking. Our cook and housekeeper took wonderful care of us, preparing delicious meals and keeping the place immaculate as well as organizing transportation and renting kayaks! Having these two lovely ladies made it a true holiday for me! The villa itself as well as the property allowed all of us to be together or not. The outside porch is really lovely and we spent a lot of time there. We will definitely be renting this place again next year now that we have found "our" spot! Also, the management of the property is outstanding. Very responsive, informative and thoughtful.

Lovely home with great location and beautiful views!
We were 3 couples of lifetime friends who travel together every other year for a Caribbean vacation. This was our first visit to Barbados and we hope to return again, as we had a fantastic week and all agree this was our best vacation together to date!
Seawards was a wonderful vacation home for the 3 couples and had everything we needed for a spectacular week! It is conveniently located and is within walking to Jordan's grocery store. The 3 bedrooms each with their own bath, provided privacy and comfort. The living space was very clean and comfortable. The outdoor space was wonderful and was where we spent the majority of our time!
We enjoyed daily morning coffee at the outdoor picnic area with a breathtaking view of the crystal blue ocean. We also enjoyed having our own beach, and were amazed at the wonderful snorkeling right off our beach! The splash pool was also refreshing each afternoon.
Kaysha and Dawn who cooked and cared for us during our stay were absolutely wonderful! They are warm, friendly, flexible and were extremely helpful during our stay. Kaysha's flying fish and macaroni pie were both a delicacy and enjoyed by all! These two ladies truly reflect the welcoming Bajan vibe of the island and will be missed!
We rented a van and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the diversity of the island! Some of our highlights included: Welchman Hall Gully (monkey feeding was amazing!), Harrison's Cave, St. Nicholas Abby, and Animal Flower Cave. We also snorkeled about 50 yards out at Carlisle Beach and were able to view snorkel boat tours feeding the sea turtles which was fascinating!!
We enjoyed most of our lunches out and about including: El Tempio (within walking distance to Seawards), Surfside Beach Bar, Lunch at Harrison's Cave, The Round House near Bathsheba, and lunch at the top of Animal Flower Cave. Our favorite meal out however was our sunset dinner at Juma in Spieghtstown. The view is breathtaking, and the food and service were top notch. They also will provide a driver for transportation to and from the restaurant!
We highly recommend a visit to Barbardos and staying at Seawards and are thankful to have experienced such a wonderful vacation in paradise!

Perfect is the only way to describe our stay at Seawards! Dawn and Kaysha are angels!
While the villa is lovely, the friendship we developed with Dawn and Kaysha is the greatest treasure we came away with. The ladies are gracious and made us feel totally at home.
Chris made booking the house a breeze, and once we arrived Desiree and Michelle assisted in booking excursions. Nicholas Rose was the perfect tour guide!
Truly a 5 star experience. We can't wait to return!!!!
Many thanks to everone!

Lovely villa
Seawards is a lovely comfortable villa with a nice garden leading right onto the beach but what made it so special was Dawn and Kaysha who looked after us brilliantly. Dawn keeps the house immaculate and Kaysha is a very good cook. Both are so friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed snorkelling over the reef behind the house, a good variety of fish and eels.
Fitts Village is about 30 mins from the airport, taxi was $58 BDS. Jordan’s supermarket was 3 or 4 minutes’ walk from the villa and had everything we needed. Groceries are more expensive than the UK as much of it is imported. Local fish, fruit and veg were quite cheap. Banks beer is good and cheap, $2.75 BDS a bottle. Rum is cheap, wine is not. We also went to Masseys supermarket in Holetown (about 10mins on the bus, $2 BDS each way) which was more expensive but had more choice, including Waitrose products?! It was great having a basket of beach towels by the back door.
Desiree, the Villa Manager, came in on our first day say hello, check we were settling in and to leave contact details in case of emergencies. Michelle was very helpful and booked some trips for us.
We enjoyed dinner at Il Tiempo (nice food, lovely setting, quite expensive) lunch at Just Grillin’ (tasty, large portions, reasonable) and Oistins Fish Fry (went by bus, about 1hr mostly standing $2 BDS, came back by taxi, about 20mins $70 BDS). We went on Friday and enjoyed the food, atmosphere and music.
The highlights were:
Catamaran cruise with Good Times; excellent crew and a brilliant day. Saw turtles!
Scuba discovery with BarbadosBlue was good, snorkelling was even better! Saw turtles! Great fish sandwich from Cuzz, $10 BDS.
Round the island tour with Dave. Lovely man, very interesting. Some great views.
Boat trip with Rod (Unda da Hat). Picked us up from the beach behind the Villa, Rod was great fun and was better at guiding us to the turtles than people on the other boats who kept asking him for help! Saw a stingray as well.
We treated ourselves to dinner at The Tides on our last night. It was expensive but worth it, great food, service and setting. Taxi was $40 BDS each way.
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Barbados and would happily go back and stay at Seawards.

This is a great property.
Pros --
Exceptionally clean villa and yard
Amazing access to the beach
Outside deck was perfect in every way
Keesha (Cook) and Dawan (Housekeeper) were so great. The food was amazing and they we hardly knew that they were there.
Chris -- our booking agent was unbelieveable! He always responded to our questions quickly and checked in on us several times while we were there.
3 full bathrooms/bedrooms (all on the upper floor)
Plenty of closet space
Great access to Holetown. We took the bus several times and the locals were so nice to us.
Cons --
Two of the bedrooms have twin beds that they convert into a king. The beds were comfortable but the king bed in the front of the house made loud squeaking noises every time you moved. I'm not sure what could be done about that but every time one of us got up, the loud squeaking woke up the other one. We told the house manager after the 1st night but no one came to look at it during our stay.
There is noise from the road in the rear bedroom. It seems that the roadway is busy all night but that would be the same for any place you rent on that road.
Other --
I would absoutely stay there again if the springs on the bed were fixed. Except for the one bed issue, I thought it was the perfect place.

Perfect!
The house was perfect and the staff a real delight they were attentive without being over the top and nothing was too much trouble.
We will go back one day. Many thanks for all your help Chris.

Incredible Villa Right On The Beach!
Seawards was the perfect place to stay for our first visit to Barbados. It is right on a beautiful beach so it took us six steps to have our chairs on the sand! The rear yard is a gem - the table right by the ocean was the perfect spot for morning coffee and evening wine to watch the sunsets!
The villa is specious and was spotless thanks to Dawn stopping by every day - she helped to make our stay comfortable and easy on me (I am usually the one doing the chores on vacation!). She was a joy!
Barbados is a beautiful island and we took a tour to different parts almost every morning to explore. Then back to Seawards for beach time, maybe a nap and then dinner out. The restaurants that we loved the most are all within a 10-20 minute drive from the villa. One we even walked to!
You can walk to a little grocery store or drive for five minutes to the bigger one - Massy's.
When we return to Barbados, we will definitely see if Seawards is available!!!

A lovely beach house on the West Coast.
We have just returned from a trip to Barabados. This was our third time on the island but our first time staying at Seawards. The property was extremely spacious, well maintained and kept clean and tidy by the housekeeper, Dawn. It was perfect for accessing nearby supermarkets and restaurants which was great although we mainly took advantage of Annette's culinary skills as these were excellent and much cheaper than eating out. We were a little concerned by a previous review which complained about traffic noise but despite the house being on the main coast road we didn't find this a problem at all. We were much more interested in the sound of the sea lapping on the beach right outside the back of the house. This was definitely our best trip so far to the island and we would consider booking the house again if all the family were joining us on our next trip.

We all had a lovely time at the house. The location was perfect, and we walked to Jordans and the pharmacy a lot and Wendy's Sporting Lounge the other way a couple times.
Would definitely stay again.......
Thanks so much.

Perfect!!
My husband and our 2 teenage sons and I spent 9 days at Seawards in March 2017. We loved this place. The villa is very clean, well-maintained, and very well managed and staffed. We have rented villas elsewhere in the Caribbean and in Mexico. Some of the places we have stayed have been larger (travelling with another family), or newer, or more luxurious, but Seawards was right up there with all of them, or better.
The housekeeper, Dawn, and cook, Annette, are professional and kind. We would sit down with Annette every few days to discuss meals then we would just buy groceries up the road. Generally speaking she would prepare a huge breakfast, and some dinners, while we opted to eat out for lunch but we liked being "home" in the evenings after a tiring day of fun. Her chicken curries were delicious as was her macaroni pie.
The agent, Chris, and local agent, Barbara, were excellent to deal with. Barbara and I communicated through What's App to inform her of our delayed arrival time and matters such as that. There was a small issue with the main door needing to be repaired (which we hadn't even noticed) which Barbara addressed immediately. We hired a car at the airport and found it very easy to get around this way, after adjusting to driving on the left (we're Canadian).
Although the plunge pool is small, we found it very refreshing and adequate. I have to say I wouldn't have rented here without it, as we like a property with both beachfront and a pool, so it was a wise addition. Perhaps if my kids were younger I would have preferred a larger pool as that was the main focus when they were little.
The beach was great for snorkelling and reading and watching sunsets. The coral on entering the water is rough on your feet so bring water shoes or sandals you can swim in. We had forgotten ours but purchased some in Holetown at a place that I cannot remember the name of, but it was beside the Cave Shepherd.
The a/c worked very well in the bedrooms. We didn't need it elsewhere. We were approached by a guy offering boat tours etc on our first day, but Barbara can help with anything you might want to book. We ended up just booking things ourselves since we hadn't set out with a plan.
I did a few loads of laundry in the kitchen which was very convenient (I was told Dawn could do this but I prefer to do our own). The icemaker was well used - great to be able to drink the tap water in Barbados.
So, I recommend Seawards without hesitation! Thanks!

Our party of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seawards and it is to be recommended. Being right on the beach was a real advantage although the beach boys organising the jet ski trips are a little unreliable when touting other options. The ladies looking after us in the house were excellent albeit slightly under utilised given several of us in the party loved cooking. We loved the local buses - they were really fun - especially the yellow ones and really should be used rather than hiring cars. We found a good local 'organiser' and taxi driver after a bit of experimentation and they helped us out perfectly. The only down side is that the local prices are getting far too high - they seem to be pricing everything at the "Sandy Lane" level which is a real shame. However, if you shop away from the main tourist areas you can mitigate this quite a lot.

Had a wonderful stay at Seawards. So nice to have the beach right on your doorstep where we spent many hours. Loved the pool and outside dining and really handy having the supermarket up the road. We didn't hire a car but instead used the local buses which took you up and down the west coast and were really cheap and fun too. Would love to go back at some stage.
