Uitstekend

De kamer was mooi, ruim, geriefelijk, en voorzien van alle comfort. Ontbijt was vers met uitgebreide keuze. Roomservice was top. Iedereen van het personeel was bijzonder vriendelijk, wat bijdroeg tot een aangename ervaring.

De locatie naast een drukke weg zorgde voor een vlotte bereikbaarheid, maar iets meer in de natuur had ook leuk geweest.

Uitstekend hotel om Leiden (15 minuten) of Den Haag (15 minuten) te bezoeken.

We hadden 3-persoonskamer geboekt. Deze was ruim opgezet met afzonderlijke toiletruimte. Daarnaast zowel bad als afzonderlijke douche. Fijne bedden. Eerlijke prijs.

Bij het ontbijt had sneller afgeruimd kunnen worden. Daarnaast werkt het stoplicht niet bij het verlaten van het hotel (licht blijft rood, wordt niet groen).

Wonderful

The bedroom and bathroom were perfect.

The housekeeping were very slow to clean the room, not cleaning it until nearly 6pm. Our seating area was in adjacent to the car park and was filled with cigarette butts and McDonald’s bags.

Vaig anar per un trist motiu, el funeral d'un amic, però l'estada a l'hotel va ser perfecta

Ja havia estat en aquest hotel. L'han ampliat des de llavors, ara està en obres de rehabiliatació/millora, però això no impedeix que segueixi funcionant perfectament.

Redelijk goed verblijf, ondanks de verbouwing.

De ligging tov Den Haag. Restaurant was goed. Ontbijt was uitgebreid en goed verzorgd.

In de kamer hoor je het verkeer erg goed. Zaten nieuwe ramen in, maar kwam veel kou door. Douchekop zat erg veel kalk op, de stralen gingen alle kanten op. Ook was de shampoo/douchegel leeg.

Modernes Zimmer, sehr praktisch

Das Zimmer war sehr schwierig findbar. Es gab keine Tafeln die Miete des Velos ist 14 Euro pro Tag. Ich wollte das Velo ein Tag vorher kurz (10 min.) ausprobieren. Die Polizei hat mich gebeten zu laufen, da das licht ungenügend war. Ich musste aber trotzdem 14 Euro bezahlen. Am nächsten Tag habe ich das Velo 3 Stunden benützt. Nochmals 14 Euro bezahlt. Das war richtig böse!

Super Hotel

Uns hat alles an der Unterkunft gefallen. Das Personal war super, das Zimmer sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern, das Zimmer ist Sauber, das Zimmer ist mit dem ausgestattet wie auf der Anzeige beschrieben ist.

Die Lage des Hotels ist etwas außerhalb. Da wir mit dem Auto unterwegs waren, war es für uns kein Problem.

internet didn't connect most of the whole time from our room. Even though I called the front office, they just said that we are connecting here with wifi. not helpful.

Perfect base for seeing the sites of south Holland

The hotel is being rebuilt, and they warn that at the moment it is a bit of a construction site, but that was no problem at all for us. We had a large room on the ground floor which was nice as there are no elevators just now (I'm sure they will be back soon, but check if you are booking in 2023 and you need one). Breakfasts were good, and the hotel dining room was a fine place for dinner. When our plans changed and we stayed an extra three days the hotel staff were very accommodating in finding a room for us. The location is great if you are driving to mutliple places in Holland as we were, but it is not walking distance to anything. That said, the village of Wassenaar is a nearby delight, and you can enjoy walks in the dunes and a lunch or dinner by the seaside in nearby Scheveningen, Wassenaar or Katwijk ann Zee.

Nice next to road

The rooms were spacious and clean, the hotel has a homey feeling, everything was running ok, despite it being in full renovation/expansion mode (we slept Fri to Sat so no works going on). Convenient next to road. It's being renovated (spring 2023), so the surroundings are not nice for the time being. Breakfast was rich and good.

Our bathroom was new, but super cold. We were freezing (spring 2023).

Challenging right now at this location

We are loyal van der Falk guests throughout the country, this property is under construction, the restaurant was placed in a temporary pavilion which was nice

Property under construction is challenging, not able to cool room under 18C as the room do not have actual ac but get heated/cooled through a central unit. Construction starts at 7 AM

Brilliant location and amazing food.

Yes, the hotel is being renovated but this doesn’t impact in your stay. Hotel staff were very friendly more so on our arrival rather than departure. The food at the hotel was absolutely amazing, good value too.

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, the room was clean and comfortable

We struggled a bit with the temperature in the room - the automatic system kept making the room extremely warm, but once we opened the balcony door, the automated system stops and some fresh air could come in.

Great to spend the night here

The room was perfect to spend the nights during a work-related stay. I especially liked the renovated bathroom and the wonderful breakfast. Besides that, it is convenient to have "The Mall of The Netherlands" so close for evening meals.

The parking wasn't very handy, but I'm sure that this is only a temporary thing because of the renovations to the hotel.

Breakfast has quite a lot of variety Nice touch from the cleaning team: we had put out a "do not disturb sign" & they left us a bag outside the door witmmh new towels and toiletries Very good located Even though under construction did not have any impact on us, oropax are also available to protect from noise Extra hairdryer (a good one) but no diffusor A save is available Hangers were available Mini bar Coffee machine in the room with coffee caps available as well as tea

Not worth a 4 stars but a 3 stars Ladies at the reception desk not very friendly They don't say hello or goodbye They don't make you feel comfortable to ask questions Rather old building No lift Very old TV, no smart TV, only 20 channels available and most in Dutch Towels smelled strongly bleach water Everything was written in Dutch, not very tourist friendly Bathroom has little space to put your toiletries, especially if two people Windows are not double glazed, some noise from the busy street and are fogged when you wake up in the morning
