Fantastic small boutique hotel

Fantastic small hotel. Rooms were very modern and clean. 10mins away from cruise terminal so it’s an excellent choice to start your cruise. We also had a problem when coming home as the transfer I purchased through booking.com didn’t turn up due to mechanical problems and it’s 1hour drive to Punta Cana airport so we were very Upset. Vito was amazing and managed to get us a local taxi right away. Can’t thank him enough.

Location excellent, close to cruise terminal, local beach and a few restaurants.

The breakfast was very good.

It was stated that the property had a restaurant. Breakfast was served around the pool. However, no other meals could be obtained other than a take away pizza brought in from 6.00 pm in the evening. One of the reasons we booked the hotel, was because it was supposed to have had a restaurant.

Me encantó el lugar, hermoso, con un excelente ambiente, muy cómodo, tranquilo y seguro. Buena ubicación cercano a la playa, en zona céntrica con buena locomoción, el personal muy amable y servicial, el desayuno abundante y fabuloso, la piscina con el jacuzzi espectaculares, con mucho gusto vuelvo así que recomendado con 5 estrellas ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ saludos desde Chile 🇨🇱

Zeer vriendelijk team, je wordt bediend met de glimlach. Lekker ontbijt met naar wens bereide eiergerechten en vers fruit aan de rand van het zwembad. Mooi verzorgd zwembad en kamer met goed bed. Uitstekende taxiservice en gratis late checkout.

Für 1 bis 2 Nächte in Ordnung

Für 2 Nächte war es ok. Gut war dass das Gelände bewacht war, alkoholfreie Getränke in der Minibar inklusive waren, das Frühstück im Freien am Pool war gut die Lage zum Kreuzfahrtterminal war gut mit dem Taxi waren wir dort in ca 15 Minuten vor einer Kreuzfahrt ist das Hotel ideal

Das Personal hat nur spanisch gesprochen konnte kein englisch. Der Chef war nicht immer da. Unser Safe war defekt und konnte nicht repariert werden. Der Wasserhahn hat gewackelt und das Wasser wurde überall ums Waschbecken verteilt. Das WC war viel zu niedrig, die Matratzen zu hart und nur eine sehr dünne Decke/ Laken. Zum Essen konnte man nur Pizza bestellen die geliefert wurde wir haben versucht zum Supermarkt zu laufen sind dann aber umgedreht außerhalb des Hotels nur Abfall auf den Straßen und verlassene Grundstücke

The staff, from owner to helpers, cleaners and others, were extremely helpful to me and gave attention to detail and personalized service. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel. It was handmade, fresh, delicious and healthy! Thank you team! You are doing a great job for your customers that want to have a real people's experience in La Romana.

Se trata de una estancia acogedora y tranquila, donde la limpieza y el orden están presentes en todas partes, sin embargo lo que mas supero nuestras expectativas fue el trato, lleno de atenciones y detalles. Te hacen sentir como en casa. El desayuno (que estaba incluido, super rico y a tiempo. Gracias por sus hospitalidad

Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Wir sind jeweils vor und nach unsere Kreuzfahrt im Hotel El Dorado eingekehrt und waren beide Male sehr zufrieden. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zudem waren die Restauranttipps vom Chef wirklich sehr gut. Wir durften sogar am Abreisetag abends noch einmal in einem Zimmer duschen, obwohl wir schon längst ausgecheckt hatten. Die Minibar wird immer aufgefüllt und ist inklusive. Security und das eingezäunte Grundstück gaben einem ein gutes Sicherheitsgefühl.

Leider nur mit Taxi zu erreichen, aber auch da hat der Chef Partner die zu fairen Preisen in die Stadt oder zum Terminal fahren. Also immer über den Chef die Taxis/Transfers bestellen!

Exceptional

Everyone, the administrator, the gatekeeper, and the kitchen staff is so courteous. They make you feel at home, catering to your needs, no matter the time of day. The facilities are clean and beautiful. We enjoyed the surroundings from the balcony on the early mornings and evenings. We will definitely be back!

Southern feel!!

Private location with a guard on deck 24/7. Breakfast was definitely great! Just right! Rooms were clean and property ground keep was top notch! Family run and well kept! The staff were all very polite and accomodating! The bathroom is beautiful with two sinks! Close to lots of business and shop, three min car ride.

The beds were firm which I love just the frame and bed was much lower then expected, bed felt a bit smaller than a true queen size but like I said its great for the value.

Hotel where you enter as a customer and leave as a friend

Small property where the client stands central. Very helpful owner. He arranged our transfer from the airport and into town. Al perfectly on time and no hassle. And not to forget: he has also a cigar factory with excellent cigars.

The place to stay in LA Romana!

Everything was exceptional from the 1st greeting to the end of our stay. Everyone was great, Giovanni the owner, his mom Victoria (I believe that is her name..I apologize if it isn't), Eric (very attentive to our needs and even went the extra mile), Luna (also very attentive and gave very excellent service) and to all the other staff (didn't quite get their names). Next time I'm in the area I will definitely stay there again. There are many other places around, but I don't think I would get the quality of service I got at El Dorado. If this place comes up in your search, please don't hesitate you won't regret it!! Thank you all we really appreciate making our stay wonderful 🙏🏽 ❤️

lovely hotel

This family run hotel is a joy, such friendly staff, it was a really pleasant stay. The grounds are green and well maintained. The bed was really comfortable, and the room large and bathroom clean and shower good pressure. The breakfast was a real highlight, fresh fruit, eggs and little baked donuts with fresh fruit inside - has to be tasted to be believed!

We booked this hotel for one night prior our Cruise from La Romana. We really enjoyed our time. Giovanni was so nice and welcomed us late. We had a nice, clean room and they even prepared a complimentary minibar with snacks and drinks for us! :-) thanks again! The breakfast was really cute by the pool with different fruits, cereals, toast, pastries, different egg options… All in all we 100% recommend this hotel. We felt really safe.

Outstanding hospitality in a lovely secluded complex.

We loved the pretty layout, the comfortable bed, the stylish bathroom, complete with two sinks, and the incredibly friendly staff. Everyone - the helpful security guard, the welcoming owners and the smiling breakfast servers - wanted to do their best for us. We mentioned when booking that my boyfriend has a gluten intolerance and there was a selection of thoughtfully selected products for him at the breakfast table. The breakfast was excellent!

Lovely people, nice food, treated like family - what can one wish more.

Giovanni, the owner of this little "island" in La Romana, is a very nice host. I had to deal with a difficult situation and he helped me a lot, without expecting anything in return. All employees were very kind and made my stay very comfortable. I always enjoyed the dinners and they were extraordinary. The hotel is well protected by personal guards which were all very nice. I can only recommend this nice hotel, try it out!
