We enjoyed our stay at Cabo Wilson.

We enjoyed our stay at Cabo Wilson. The location is great - on the marina and close to Medano Beach. We appreciated the kitchen facilities and having a deck that looked out onto the marina. Having a barbecue was very nice. The staff at the front desk are excellent and very helpful, and the pool and deck area are spotless and have lots of seating. We had a few little issues upon arrival and the owner was very responsive. You can’t beat the location with its proximity to restaurants, stores, activities and the beach.

Although we enjoyed the location, it could get pretty loud in the evenings due to the bars and nightclubs close by. Weekdays were a little quieter.

Would stay again

Perfect location. Perfect size for a couple. Very quiet once the doors are closed. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. Parking is a breeze. Kitchen is a blessing and we used it daily.

Leather couch is no good in hot or cold weather, just stick to it. No air circulation in the bathroom, so smells and humid air stay awhile. The water dispenser supplied had bad water in it but lots of stores to buy water from.

This is a great option for a solo traveler or couple looking to be close to everything!

Staying in the marina is fun, convenient, and safe, and the wooden doors/adobe walls are insulating enough that I could run the fan and easily shut out the party scene when I wanted to go to bed. The staff at the complex are super nice and helpful, and the size and amenities in the room are perfect for a solo traveler or couple. Super reliable internet.

The mattress is old and needs to be replaced.

The location

The bed was a pull-down bed. The mattress was horrible and uneven. The shower head sprayed uneneven water and needs to be cleaned of calcium deposits. The bathroom was dated and needs work. Of the 3 shower towels provided, two were covered with long black hair. The photos provided were deceiving.

Great location to everything, the marina, beach, restaurants, shopping. Quaint, clean, studio, with all kitchen necessities to cook. Ample space to store clothes etc. Nice deck with view of marina. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

Superb

The location is great. Our balcony overlooked the marina. There is a small supermarket nearby. The room is quiet. The kitchen is well equipped. An unusual bed, "in the closet".

Very weak Wi-Fi. He wasn't in our room at all, we had to connect to the next room. Contacting the administrator did not help - the Internet remained very weak all days, which interfered with the normal operation of all devices.

Again, convenience of location, and value for money - it was an excellent choice

The location of this condo is superlative - view out over the Marina, and an easy walk to do everything in the tourist district. When we went fishing the first morning we had only to walk around the Marina embarcadero to meet the boat captain. Several excellent restaurants are on the Marina itself, as well as tourist shopping, and the bars and nightlife are easy walking distance (10-20 minutes) as well. We mostly prepared meals at home, and it was nice to sit out on the balcony in the evening at sunset and watch all the boats and tourists coming back in from a day on the water, as well as watch and listen as the day of fishing and sun became an evening of dining and music.

I think every guest has slightly different expectations, so this is always hard. For ourselves, a better BBQ on the balcony would have suited - we caught fish our first day out and prepared it every evening the rest of our stay, but the old Weber style tin dome wasn't very functional, so instead of messing with it we broiled, poached and baked instead. Overall though, we would be likely to return to this unit.
