Nice clean and roomy appartment on a good location.

Lovely appartment. It was the best place of all the places where we stayed during our trip to Iceland.

Super Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge im Südwesten

Die Thoristun Apartments sind gut gelegen, sowohl innerhalb der Stadt, als auch für Ausflüge im Südwesten Islands. Ein Supermarkt und verschiedene Läden sind zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, trotzdem ist die Umgebung angenehm ruhig. Idealer Startpunkt für Ausflüge zum Golden Circle, auf die Reykjanes Halbinsel oder Richtung Süden. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, schön eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Das Bett war groß und bequem.

Das Zimmer ist ziemlich hellhörig, sodass man hört, wenn im Nebenzimmer z.B. Schränke und Türen geöffnet/geschlossen werden, oder gespült wird. Die anderen Gäste haben sich aber zum Glück an die Ruhezeiten gehalten.

Perfect ! Rustige ligging tov plaatselijke kerkje en vlakbij gezellige foodbar. Er is werkelijk aan alles gedacht en de chalet is heerlijk ruim en proper. Ligging is perfect voor verkenning van heel de zuid-westelijke regio als je het mij vraagt en de prijs/kwaliteit tov andere guesthouses is meer dan oké ; mocht ik de reis overdoen dan zou ik deze voor meerdere dagen boeken en zelfs met huurauto tot in vik en omgeving rijden ipv daar iets te boeken.

Dat we deze lastminute maar voor 1 nacht hadden geboekt nadat we elders van pure miserie vroeger vertrokken waren …

A very wellcoming space, with a great atmosphere and cozy details. We enjoyed the quiet and the long June days. The center of the small town is very close and the Icelandic vibe (and winds!) are everywhere.

Goed verblijf in Selfoss!

Prijs - kwaliteit een zeer goed verblijf in Selfoss. Het appartement is gerieflijk ingericht. Alles is degelijk en verzorgd. Zeer proper. Letterlijk op wandelafstand van grote winkels en een foodhal. Parkeren kan vlak voor de deur. Een aanrader regio Selfoss!

Van op het terras / uit de ramen kijk je recht op een woning. (Geen uitzicht dus)

Comftable apartment, good price-performance ratio

Very nice and comfy place to stay in selfoss. Apartment with everything you need, even with coffee 🤩 Comfortable beds, spacious shower, good equiped kitchen. Close to restaurant, grocery stores. Good place to discover the golden circle.

Hier ist es echt die Wucht !

Waren im 3 Schlafzimmer Appartement im Souterrain. Sehr großzügig geschnitten..man kann sich aus den Weg gehen wenn das mal sein muß Sehr hell und freundlich. Die Anlage liegt direkt am Fluss bei der Kirche. Das ist sehr malerisch (trotz der Baustelle, an der aber nie jmd arbeitete) Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für den Golden Circle, Reykjavik aber auch Blaue Lagoon bis bin nach Vik und darüberhinaus. Einkäufe kann man in der Küche wenn man will in schmackhaftes Essen verwandeln oder auch den Double Fried Special Hot Dog am hervorragenden Schnellimbiss an der Ecke Brücke /Fluss einnehmen. Alles fußläufig. Betten sind tolle Boxspringbetten ..nach Ungewöhnung sehr gutes erfolgreiches Schlaferlebnis

Wenn die Toilette seperat wäre ...das wäre den unubertreffbar..

Ein Appartment zum Wohlfühlen - alles top!

Uns hat das Appartment unglaublich gut gefallen. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet - man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Das Appartment ist sehr groß und geräumig mit einer großen Terrasse. Beim Küchenequipment hat man alles, was man braucht. Im Bad gibt es sogar eine Fußbodenheizung!! Es ist sehr sauber! Die Appartments werden von der Familie geführt. Wenn man Fragen hat, z. B. zu Wetterwarnungen, kann man sie unkompliziert per Whats App kontaktieren. Wir haben sogar vor unserer Ankunft wegen eines Vulkanausbruchs Kontakt aufgenommen, um ein Gefühl für die Lage zu bekommen, und erhielten immer sehr zeitnah Rückmeldung. Die Lage ist top und liegt für Unternehmungen im Süden, Süd-Westen und rund um den Golden Circle sehr zentral. Außerdem ist Selfoss ein wirklich süßer Ort! Wir würden uns sofort wieder für dieses Appartment entscheiden.

Lovely spacious apartment

The apartment was very spacious and located in a nice area where you could walk to restaurants. We didn't meet the hosts but they left everything we'd need and checked in with us by email.

Perfect accomodation. The host quickly replyed to all questions. I can only reccomend, 10/10!

Apartment is located close to the supermarket and Selfoss center. In the kitchen is everything you need to prepare simple meals. Beds are comfortable, rooms cozy and view from the main bedroom is perfect. I will never forgot the aurora lights during the first night, directly from the bed. In the living room is even a retro console, this was a nice comeback to childhood during evenings. The best apartment I ever stayed in!

Excellent Stay!

Just a wonderful place. Great location, comfort, the kitchenette had everything. Kind small touches like coffee, chocolate, tea, etc. Attention to detail to ensure guests enjoy their stay was evident. Highly recommend this lovely place in a wonderful location in Selfoss.

Perfecte uitvalsbasis om Ijsland vanuit te ontdekken tijdens onze acht overnachtingen daar!

Deze plek na een dag lang rondreizen is de perfecte plek om "thuis" te komen en uit te rusten. Met een foodhall om de hoek kun je daarna heerlijk eten en chillen. Ook in de studio zelf kun je lekker zitten en chillen. Wij zouden hier zo naar terug gaan als we nog eens terug komen om IJsland verder te ontdekken. Ook vanuit Selffos is de Goldencircle niet verweg en ook andere mooie plekken zijn zo makkelijk te bereiken. Noordlicht hebben we daar op dag 2 al gespot door net even buiten de stad naar en vuurtoren te rijden voor de beste ervaring :)

Valt nergens iets op aan te merken.

Brilliant definitely recommend.

We couldn’t fault the property. Car parking was great, location was in the centre of where we needed to go. Fabulous views from the property. The accommodation was brilliant, big cosy beds, lots of room and lots of essentials already at the property. We would definitely stay here again.

Couldn’t fault anything. We couldn’t work the TV so contacted the owner who talked us through everything within minutes.

Soooooo lovely, our best accommodation in Iceland yet. great value for money. Squeaky clean, had everything, comfy bed, couch, kutchenette and a dining table, cozy bathroom with heated floors. I wish all our Iceland homes were like this!

Only one thing was a but uncomfy, the floors except the bathroom were ice cold. We travel light, so we didnt have any spare shows to wear i side and it got quite cold. Would make a bug difference if all floors were heated :)

Fabulous apartment and location. Kitchen was a bit small and could do with more cups and glasses.

lovely clean, spacious apartment

The property is clean, spacious and in a central location. check in was easy and contact from the owners was timely. we stayed a couple of nights in this lovely apartment which had everything we needed, we were sad when we then moved to a hotel in Reykjavik which was much smaller.
