Welcome to The Fish- you have found your modern day Shangri-La! This home was inspired by beach vacations, surfing trips, and travels throughout Southeast Asia and we are happy share our wanderlust with you.
Every space and everything you find in this 2,900+ sq. ft. home will be fresh and pristine for your enjoyment. There will be plenty of room to lounge and relax in the 2 spacious indoor living areas, 5 bedrooms with 4 king beds - 3 of which are Master Bedrooms Suites - a Bunkroom that sleeps 4, an Office, Kitchen with all new appliances, Dining room to seat all of your guests, Screen porch, Outdoor lounge with dining room, 2 Outdoor showers, and a Private Pool.
Your worries will leave you and your spirit will be renewed at The Fish.
Walk up the front staircase to enter into the living room that opens into the kitchen and dining areas. A screen porch with lounge and dining room is located off the interior dining room. This home welcomes guests and entertaining is as easy as living at the beach here. The Kitchen boasts all new appliances and is fully stocked to cook the perfect meal. The dining rooms provide enough elbow room and seating for all your guests. Living room has a large flat screen TV and comfortable seating to watch a movie or the big game. Enjoy Sonos with surround sound to set the mood for the dinner party or not miss a single play of that game.
Head down the hall to the half bathroom and laundry room with washer and dryer, both off of the kitchen. Across from the laundry room is the first of 3 master bedrooms. The First Floor Master has 1 king bed, oversize walk-in closet, and en-suite full bathroom. Full bathroom has a double vanity, freestanding soaking tub, and a large full glass shower complete with 2 shower heads.
On the second floor, there are 4 additional bedrooms and a loft. This sitting area is outfitted with another large, flat screen TV. If you find yourself in the unfortunate circumstance that you are needing to work while on vacation, we have you covered. There is an office space in bedroom 2, which also has 1 king bed. The Jack-and-Jill full bathroom with a tub/shower combo is shared between bedroom 2 and the loft area. The kids are going to love the bunk room in bedroom 3 to sleep 4 people! Bedrooms 4 and 5 are the other master bedrooms. Each has a king bed with its own bathroom suite. Each of these full bathrooms has a double vanity and walk-in shower. Books abound in every bedroom because what is better than sunshine and good reads. Take a book or leave something worthy of sharing. (Can't find what your needing, check out the coolest public library just down the road.)
Head outside to the private pool for the whole family to enjoy! Pool has optional heat for an additional fee. [NOTICE: Pool heating amenity is unavailable during the months of December, January, and February.] Splash around all day in the pool, grill out in the covered grill station, overlooking the pool. Two Outdoor shower stalls are ideally situated for privacy yet are located next to the pool so you can shower off your sandy toes prior to jumping in!
The Fish is only a 10-12 minute walk to the beach and about a 7-10 minute walk to Center Street, where all unique, local Folly Beach shops, restaurants, and entertainment are located. Public beach accesses are found on either side of the Charleston Oceanfront Villas complex (big yellow complex next to The Tides hotel), and on every block and half block down the island. Popular downtown Charleston is also only a 20-25 minute drive from this property. Visit museums, art galleries, world-class restaurants and boutiques, or take a history or ghost tour. Depending upon your timing catch a Riverdogs Baseball game, Stingrays Hockey Game, or Charleston Battery Match. Don't forget to check out local venues like The Charleston Music Hall, Music Farm, Charleston Performing Arts Center, or The Pour House- stars do align and you may just happen to catch some great tunes while away.

We loved our stay and really enjoyed the outdoor space this house provides. Had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, plenty of space for everyone, loved that the beds were king and most bedrooms had an attached bathroom. Only complaint is that the house wasn't ready at 4pm and some emails said go straight to the house and other emails said check in at the property management office. Slight bump in the road of an overall wonderful stay!

The Fish Property rental in Folly Beach, managed by Carolina One, exceeded our expectations. Carolina One's customer service was excellent, ensuring a smooth experience from booking to check-out. The accommodation comfortably accommodated our group of 6 adults and 5 kids, with plenty of space for everyone. The highlight was the amazing pool, definitely worth paying extra for heating. The location was perfect, offering a close yet secluded 10-minute walk to the center of activity in Folly Beach and the beach itself. Just remember to rent beach gear and potentially beach towels, as they're not provided but essential. Overall, a fantastic spot for a beach getaway.

The house was very well laid out. It was so nice to have so many bathrooms. Outdoor screen porch was fantastic. Great quiet location. Kitchen was well stocked with the basics. We will definitely come back during warm months to take advantage of the amazing backyard!!

We spent the week with two families of 5 adults each, celebrating our daughter's graduation from College of Charleston. Very roomy even for the 10 of us and well-decorated. Most rooms are very large with king-sized beds The outdoor areas are so comfortable that we found ourselves spending a lot of time by the pool and the covered lounge area adjacent. It's very close to the main streets of Folly Beach to walk or bike. Beach access is 5-8 min walk. We would love to return to this home if we had another large group again.

The Fish property was a great place for four adult couples and no kids to stay for a week on Folly. The house was clean, well stocked, and had great amenities with the pool. The beds were very comfortable too. The pool was a amazing and we had a blast playing volleyball with the floaty net & ball that came with the house.
The house is about a 10min walk to the beach, which was a little longer than we anticipated by the description, but still pretty close. The walk to Center Street was also about 10min, which was expected. For the price of this listing, I had hoped the house would come with hand soap for all bathrooms. Hotel sized shampoo and conditioner are provided, but I recommend you plan on packing your own as well as some good body wash.
The property management company was attentive, communicated often, and checked in on us to ensure we were enjoying our stay.
Overall a great stay and it met all our needs!

We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor gathering spaces that allowed our extended family to spread out. We appreciated having multiple large dining table options to gather around with our group for meals. The bedrooms are all well-sized. We'd recommend storage options for two of the bedrooms especially for longer stays, but we really had no complaints! We paid to have the pool heated and were able to use it every day during our April stay. The backyard is lovely and really felt like a retreat from our busy lives. The beach was also an easy ten minute walk. We rented a golf cart and bikes, so it was even quicker to get to the closest public beach access. We hope to come back!!! This house is perfection! You will LOVE it, we went in March for “Spring Break” so we paid to have the pool heated and it was the highlight of our trip! I also highly recommend renting a golf cart! Great house, will definitely visit again!

If you are looking for a great house with private pool, walking distance to beach, great restaurants, and pier -the fish is the answer. House is very spacious as described. 2 living rooms is awesome so little ones can watch their tv. The main living room, kitchen dining room is big enough for all about cramped. Walk to beach was 4 blocks; there is access through houses. Can walk to all great restaurants and the pier life. (Not one bad meal on island). Short easy drive to all the sites in Charleston. Great balance between sight seeing and relaxation of beach and private pool. The outdoor living room under house next to pool was awesome and huge for all. I did take a nap in one of the hammocks; felt great. So if looking for a layback vacation Folly Beach is the answer. Great island to bike ride or golf carts. People are friendly. The ease of checkin checkout was an added plus.

Truly unique and Amazing property
This is a new home and is perfectly set up for family fun at the beach! Easy to walk, bike, or drive to the beach and Center Street shops. The pool with well appointed patio/lounge in the shade of the house is perfect for a lazy afternoon or evening. A perfect family retreat spot. We will be back and I can highly recommend this home for your Folly vacation.
