About this apartment rental
This immaculate 2 bedroom apartment is now available for summer and winter rental. The well laid out apartment is ideally located in the central Encoches area. This area of Morzine is regarded as one of the most desirable locations because of the easy access to town, to the ski slopes and to all the amenities whilst at the same time offering the tranquility of the south facing sunny slopes with the fabulous views of the town and down the valley. The ski bus stops 2 minutes from the apartment and takes you to either the Morzine or Avoriaz ski lifts. A short walk across the footbridge takes you to the Pleney and the Super-Morzine lifts and also allows easy access in to the town for your evening entertainment.
The apartment provides two double bedrooms, a bathroom and two toilets. The well equipped kitchen incorporates a dining area and adjoins the open plan lounge area with its very comfortable L-shaped sofa. Doors from the lounge area open on to the large wrap around south facing balcony which provides stunning views of the valley and the Pleney slopes and offers the perfect setting for an apres-ski drink as you watch the sun go down. The kitchen includes fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and hob. There is a large flat screen TV, DVD and Bose sound system in the lounge area. Good WIFI is available. The apartment is rented with hotel quality bed linen and towels. There is a personal ski locker for ski storage. Private parking is available outside the apartment. A second secure parking space is available on top of the garage which is located next to the chalet below.

Nice apartment, two double bedrooms although one was very small. Handy for town centre with short uphill walk back after crossing the bridge. Multi card partner was a great bonus. Morzine is especially good for mountain bikers, not so good for hikers although we enjoyed our holiday

I used it a base for cycling . Owner very accomodating for bike storage and climbs from Morzine are great.
The apartment is only a short walk across the footbridge and has great views with sunlit balcony in afternoon and evening.

The chalet had all what we wanted for a week away.
No complaints at all. The commination with the owner and Lisa at total chalet services was fantastic - had a minor issue with the sink and it was sorted - just like that!
Also left a pair of prescription sunglasses and we been informed they’ll send these to us! Great service and the most gorgeous cat also came to visit us on the balcony 😻

Fantastic property in a brilliant location. It’s in an elevated position just above the bridge that crosses the gorge and take you into the centre of Morzine. It has wonderful views across to town, up the Pleney lift and of the surrounding mountains. It’s only a couple of minutes walk to the Super Morzine gondola and the swimming complex. We had a lovely holiday here. There was so much to do, and the balcony was the perfect place to watch the sun go down and end a busy day. The host was great too. Lots of information provided, very quick to reply. Everything was made very easy.

All great. Nice place, well maintained and lovely. We were the only people in the entiere house. It was quiet and close to the city at the same time.

This is a superb apartment with panoramic views over the Dranse Valley towards the mountains.
It is very well equipped with all mod cons for your cooking and laundry requirements, loved the Bose sound bar which we easily connected to playing our favourite tunes.

Under 10 mins to ski hire where you can leave your boots etc overnight.

The appartment is perfect for a skitrip. It is clean, comfortable and warm. The appartment is a short walk from the Super Morzine skilift and the village. An extra bonus is the view on downtown Morzine and the spacious balconny where you can enjoy the sun in the afternoon. Philip is a very responsive and helpfull host!

The chalet is in a perfect position overlooking the mountains and the pretty town of morzine. It was warm, modern and had everything we needed for our stay. The village is just a short walk over the footbridge.. which is also right beside the super morzine lift. It was perfectly placed! As a swimmer I even had easy access to the great swimming complex! This is a great base for a winter or summer break and the apartment couldn’t have been more perfect for us, Thankyou Philip

We had a wonderful holiday in this apartment in Morzine! The apartment is very well appointed with everything we needed and more. The apartment is close to the ski lifts as well as shops and restaurants in town, and a perfect place to base from to explore the Portes du Soleil area. The host was very helpful and communicative and provided good insight and recommendations into activities in town. We plan to return.

Very clean and well equiped apartment with two bedrooms, toilet, bathroom and second toilet and large balcony. Kitchen full of equiipment. View on Morzine and Les Gets ski area is breathtaking. Shops in Morzine Centre and lift within 5-10 minute walk. Owner is very accurate and friendly and gives good tips.

The apartment was very warm and cosy and the views across the valley were fantastic. Philip the owner was really helpful giving us lots of information about transfers from the airport, ski passes,hire etc which made for a stress free holiday. Would recommend this lovely apartment.

After many years staying in and enjoying the Grand Massif it was always going to take a lot to find somewhere that felt so much like home, thanks to this apartment and what we found locally we’re already working out which week next year. The apartment itself has fantastic views across to the pleney slopes and is a really short walk to the bridge across to town, sadly the conditions on the slopes were not ideal this week but we still got to explore Avoriaz either via driving up or across to the prodains lift and best of all we had this to come back to which gave us everything we needed and a lot to appreciate and enjoy.

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children. We stayed here for a weeks skiing holiday and could not fault it. Just a short walk to town and the Super Morzine lift. Would happily stay again.

We love staying in this cute and cosy apartment. Easy and nice walk into town with an awesome view of the valley. I’m looking forward to coming back here again soon. There was plenty of space for us and the kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. The apartment is not huge but served its purpose and the view from the balcony is something we're definitely going to miss. However, we thought that those coming in winter may struggle a bit more with storage, with all those bulky coats, boots and the like.

Excellent apartment
We had an excellent stay in a wonderful apartment with south facing wrap around balcony. Amazing views over Morzine and great base for a summer holiday. Having the multi pass helped us enjoy lots of activities with the kids.

A high quality location
A high quality apartment within walking distance of the Super Morzine ski lift and town centre. The host could not be more helpful and the pre arrival information was of a very high standard. The apartment worked well for us as a family of four with two sons sharing a double bed. We would certainly book this property again.

The apartment is in a great location, being a quick walk to the lift and then village, but still quiet. You do need to have a reasonable level of fitness to walk up the hills to it though! Beautiful views and sunset in the early evening. Inside the apartment is nicely decorated with good facilities. We had 3 adults staying.

Lovely stay in Morzine
We had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Morzine. The views from the balcony were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed having a drink on there at the end of the day. It's a short walk into town and to the lifts - we did it with our skis and in our boots everyday and it was more than manageable (although a ski locker in town may be a better bet if you have kids!). Totally worth the walk for the views you get from the apartment :-)

Fabulous apartment
Thank you for a great stay in Morzine. Philip has been amazing throughout the whole process. Extremely helpful and understanding especially with all the uncertainty about travel due to Covid.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Lovely to sit on the balcony in the evening sun.
Thoroughly recommend the multipass scheme in summer- great value for money and gives access to the pool/ice skating/gondola etc.

Great modern apartment close to town
We loved the apartment, it had great facilities and was really well equipped both in the kitchen and with a great sound system in the living area. There is an additional toilet room which works well with the two bedrooms, and the living area is a great social space. All was well looked after and clean. Only missing item was that a hairdryer would be handy. The steps straight to the footbridge are the best way to town, and much quicker than you think from a map. Really handy for the Super Morzine. We used the recommended discounts from the owner and all worked out fine, although we had to contact the ski shop to get the discount applied. A fantastic stay in all!

Fantastic apartment with a wonderful view - perfect for our stay over the February half term!
We had a wonderful stay at Le Petit Asphodèle during the February half term. We are a family of three - my partner and I and our daughter - and the apartment was absolutely perfect for us.
We drove to Morzine from the UK and the apartment was easy to find with parking right outside.
The apartment was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We made full use of the kitchen and its facilities as we ate in every day and also used the washing machine a couple of times. The view from the balcony is sensational and we had a prime view of the firework display in Morzine during our stay. The apartment was lovely and warm and was a joy to return to after a day on the slopes.
As we had our car with us we drove and parked in a car park close to the Pleney Gondola most mornings (as our ski lesson meeting point was at the top of the Pleney Gondola) and this only took us a few minutes. On our first day we walked down to the Super Morzine Gondola that takes you to Avoriaz and this only takes about ten minutes, even with a six-year old - it's a lovely walk across the bridge.
Communication from both the owner and managing agents was excellent and a special thanks to Philip, the owner, for sending us a Pass' Loisirs which we used on multiple occasions at both the outdoor and indoor ice rinks - it was a great cost-saver.
Overall, the apartment suited us absolutely perfectly, we thought it was fantastic, and if we return to Morzine we'd definitely look to rebook.

summer in Morzine
I am not one to write reviews very often but I felt it was the right thing to do this time around. Would certainly recommend this great 2 bedroom apartment. Ideal location with the village a 5 minute walk away. It was very quiet of an evening and the views from the balcony when the sun was setting will always stay with us. Definitely will be back for more.
The booking process was hassle free and the overall cost was fantastic value for a family of 4. It’s certainly a hidden gem and I would like to personally thank Philip the owner for allowing us to stay in his apartment.
I think we will be back sooner than we thought ! If you looking for a self catering apartment with all the home comforts, WiFi included this us the apartment for you.
