A fantastic stay that we will remember

We had a wonderful stay at the Willow Cottage, it is a very well equipped and very comfortable cottage in a secluded location (with views) in the garden of Deborah and Steve. The location was perfect for us, close to Arundel and Chichester with some magnificient sights, such as Arundel Castle and Gardens, Chichester Cathedral and a bit further afield New Dean Gardnes. Deborah and Steve were very hospitable indeed. Sometimes, our planner would lead us to a point on the A259 from where you cannot enter the Shripney lane. It is best assessed off the A29 (to/from Woodgate).

A great stay in a quiet location yet within easy reach of both seafront and countryside.

We had a very good weekend here. The whole place was clean, comfortable and nicely equipped. The open plan living/dining/kitchen area is well laid out and has plenty of space. The walk in shower is also very good. The hosts were very welcoming with some lovely food items left for us when we arrived. The property is located in the hosts' garden yet is far enough away from the house to give plenty of privacy and seclusion should you wish.

There is nothing we didn't like. A comment on the location: The property is on the northern (landward) side of Bognor Regis - so is is not what may be considered a seaside location. However, Bognor is not that big - it is a only a short drive to the seafront. However, should you wish to visit other attractions in Sussex then it is an easy drive out and you have the benefit of a tranquil place to be.

A comfortable stay in a well equipped cottage with a lovely garden outlook.

The layout and high standard of the property, the beautiful garden. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

A couple of extra towels would be handy.

Lovely relaxing place to stay

It was a very calming and relaxing place to stay. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The freshly homemade bread and rock cakes, eggs and milk were an added bonus. Really friendly place to stay.

We had a delightful weekend .

It was self catering, everything was supplied. The location was ideal, wonderful surroundings. Easy access to places we wanted to visit. The owners were close by and very super helpful. Very clean and tidy, spacious and lovely dog visits too!! Ideal. Will go back!!

Lovely people, accommodation, setting and Willow the dog.

We got a lovely welcome from Steve and Deborah. The fantastic accommodation sits in beautiful gardens. Deborah made amazing bread and biscuits too. We will definitely be back.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful garden

Everything! Location, garden, owners, home made bread and biscuits, fresh eggs, tastefully decorated cottage with a skylight through which you see a giant willow, the owners’ lovely dog called Willow who came to greet us.

Loved our stay and hope to return some day.

Excellent hosts who could not do enough for us. Its a great little property and we felt very much at home and relaxed.

Bed far too soft for us so we slept on the fold out sofa in the living room. I guess some people like soft mattresses and you can't please everyone so not a problem at all.

An oasis of calm in West Sussex

Great location on a country lane. The Robin Hood pub is a 10 minutes walk away, which was very handy. The comfortable, clean and tidy Chalet is set well away from owners property giving you your privacy and own lovely garden to relax in. We were well looked after by the pet dog!

Spotless accommodation, in a beautiful garden. Delightful hosts and quiet rural location which is what we were looking for. Totally relaxed.

Wonderful place and excellent hosts!

Steve, Debs and Willow were there to give us very warm welcome and show us around. We were given a welcome pack with some lovely home made bread, flapjacks and eggs. Since we didn’t drive down to Sussex, they also let us borrow bikes. We had wonderful time in and around. The cottage itself is so cozy, bright and clean and the surrounding space is just idilic. Waking up with the sound of birds and coffee by the pond is what I miss the most. I miss the ducks as well. :) We stayed 3 nights and will definitely be back. I’ve travelled quite a lot around England, and this is one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen so far. The pub is 10 mins walk and Felpham beach is about 35 mins walk/ 12 mins cycling. Taxi drivers are super nice too! There are some very nice restaurants in Bognor and Chichester. Ask lovely Steve, he knows it all! :) Once again, thanks Steve and Debs and we look forward to seeing you again ☀️ Dora & Sam

Fantastic getaway near the coast

We spent four rainy days in the cosy Willow Cottage. Deb & Steve, the lovely hosts, have created a perfect rental cottage with everything one could wish for. I was particularly impressed by the well equipped kitchen and of course the welcome basket with homemade goodies. Despite the weather we ventured out and really enjoyed nearby Arundel and West Wittering Beach. We cooked most nights but went to the Mustard Restaurant in Bognor Regis one night and were also quite impressed (I recommend the Beef Wellington). But even if the weather keeps you inside, Willow Cottage is a great place to stay, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very relaxing

The hoists of the cottage (Spot on) and the Location was very good, surrounding area relaxing and very quiet and the picture house at Bognor Regis was good value for money, Must give a shout out to Willow the Dog who also looked after us and very well behaved. Must also say we dined out at the Oystercatcher at Yapton good value and we were looked after by (Liz)who was very helpful and friendly.
