About this cottage rental
Take comfort in this fully equipped historic Cottage. The home has two bedrooms, one full bath. The beds are double, smaller size.Laundry area is located in the basement.
Washington Cottage is kid and pet friendly with a kitchen set up and ready for quick meals, snacks or gourmet dinners created with the abundance of local fare. The Living Room and Dining Room accommodate 4 - 8 for larger gatherings.
The private, fenced backyard has a deck with picnic table, garden boxes, firepit and outdoor seating. All this allows for larger gatherings and celebrations.
The home has a TV and wireless internet.
Well behaved, small pets are welcome in the cottage with an additional deposit. The backyard is fully fenced. A basement is available as well.
This cottage, built nearly one hundred years ago, has the size of rooms that were common in that time. Rooms are cozy in size.
The central location is perfect for walking to Historic Downtown McMinnville. Linfield College is just 8 blocks south of the home.
This is a no smoking property.

We had a lovely stay at Stacy’s home in McMinnville. It was clean and comfortable and within walking distance of town. Stacy was a quick and thoughtful communicator, giving us advance heads up and compensation on street maintenance that would impact parking. We had everything we needed - thank you, Stacy!

Picturesque home. Clean, fully stocked, including complimentary drinks, well decorated and convenient to everything in downtown McMinnville. It is a small house, and the rooms are tight. Beds are small and very squeaky with soft mattresses. There is a church across the street, several homeless congregate there it seems. They were never a bother, but it is a bit unnerving, which also caused us to keep the blinds closed. The home also has a beautiful back yard that is private, perfect for a morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine. You can tell the owner really cares about the place and wants you to have a wonderful stay. Would stay here again.

Everything was better than expected. Stacy was great at communication, the house well equipped and comfortable. We made a few requests that Stacy facilitated. Thanks for a very nice experience!

If you are looking to stay in wine country, this is the place.
Very convenient location, walk to downtown McMinnville, all the restaurants and cute shopping and to all wineries.
The house was adorable, clean and had the best backyard with gorgeous flowers and fruit. We loved that Stacy thought of everything. The towels and sheets were soft, the little extras throughout the house were nice to have and very thoughtful.

We loved this cottage. Yes, it is cozy but also charming and well-outfitted. You can tell a lot of love has gone into this place. The garden in the back is so serene with plenty of outdoor furniture, and bright flowers meet you out front. The kitchen is very well stocked, and there is also a gas grill. No running out of dish towels, detergent, or toilet paper, either, which we appreciated. The location is perfect for walking downtown for dinner and the house is an easy drive to many of the Dundee Hill wineries. Our only suggestion would be to invest in some light-canceling bedroom curtains; otherwise, this cottage is designed to please. We would love to stay here again.

Stacy was wonderful to work with and answered our questions immediately. The home is in a good location within walking distance to restaurants and tasting rooms. She allowed us to bring our cat, otherwise we wouldn't not have been able to visit McMinnville's beautiful wine country.

This was one of the best Vrbo/short term rentals we have had in all our years of travel. Everything was clean and well thought out, the location was perfect (walking distance to town, easy travel all over the Willamette Valley and even Pacific City & Cannon Beach), parking for two cars in the driveway, a beautiful backyard oasis, and thoughtful touches everywhere. One very minor piece of advice (although this would apply anywhere)... bring your own streaming stick for the TV. Highly recommend this Vrbo experience!

On the cleanliness - usually I still need to wipe down all knobs and remotes when I enter a place, but felt I didn't have to here. Very comfortable place to stay. Has very nice upgraded appliances.

The property is centrally located. Easy walking distance for several great restaurants in downtown McMinnville. Residence is full of charm, and the host includes too many extras to list. Beautiful back yard, clean, homey. Can't say enough. thanks much for the hospitality

This little house was perfect for two friends from highschool to reconnect and enjoy the food, wine and shopping around McMinnville! The yard was so peaceful and went great with a bottle of Pinot!

This home is lovely and perfect for a couple or small family. It's a sweet cottage in the middle of town, so it's close to Third Street, Linfield, and easy access to the rest of McMinnville. The only drawback - which is no fault of the owner - is that there is a population of houseless people who hang out across the street in the parking lot of the church. It wasn't bothersome, but as someone who stayed there by myself, it just made me a bit wary coming back to the house after dark. Just an FYI. Overall, I loved my stay and would definitely stay there again!

This was our second girl's getaway to wine country. We love Stacy's adorable house. It's decorated with so many cute touches and the kitchen is well stocked. We especially love being so close to 3rd street and the ability to walk since we're doing wine tastings.

We have stayed before at this property and it lived up to our expectations again! The size and location can't be beat. It's extremely well stocked so we never felt that we need anything more. The owner is so easy work with and provided timely updates, as needed. Can't recommend this enough!

Such a cute little property. Across the street from a church, so there was some activity with their events, but nothing too late or raucous. A generally quaint neighborhood within easy walking distance of downtown. Nicely appointed and cozy.

This sweet home was everything we were looking for while at a wedding in McMinville. It was close to downtown, had parking in the driveway, had a neat backyard with a fire pit and bbq and the home was perfectly equipped for all of our needs. The owner was friendly and communicative and I would recommend her home to anyone. Thanks for a great stay; we’ll be back!

This historic house is perfectly up dated with keeping all the details that give it historic charm. Very clean with all the amenities. Every detail was thought of. We felt so welcomed and appreciated. We got to enjoyed the wonderful back yard and fire pit table. The beds are so comfortable, I’m always so pleased when the host know the importance of getting a good nights sleep in a comfy bed. Thank you so much for having us, we hope to visit again soon.

The Washington Cottage is adorable. It had everything we needed and more. The shower was hot and the bath towels were soft. The furniture is comfortable and the house was immaculate. Off street parking was easy. Only a few blocks from all the activities of Third Street.

I cannot say enough good things about this property, the house was clean and inviting. There was so much thought to the detail of our stay. So many nice touches, Chocolates by the door, extra coffee, a bowl of granola bars, littles extras in the cupboards and fridge that made our stay extra special. The owner has thought of everything to make this a true home away from home

We really enjoyed staying at this home. The location couldn't have been better, only a few blocks of a walk to trendy downtown. The kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to make meals and the home was emaculantly cleaned. I also really appreciated the little extra touches the owner does to make sure guests feel welcomed.

My wife and I stayed here on a brief visit to OR wine country. The house is cozy in a great location, and the backyard is paradise. Walkable to lots of restaurants, shops, and bars in downtown McMinnville. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Stacey’s house. The house is so cute and was the perfect size for my husband and I and my son and girlfriend. It was Helpful to have a washer dryer in basement. Kitchen was well stocked and the common space was comfortable. We loved walking to downtown McMinnville for dinner. There were a number of homeless people hanging out on church grounds across the street but it was not a problem for us. We loved the cozy backyard and the lovely landscaping. Thank you.
