No Smoking or Pets Allowed! This cabin is NEWLY REMODELED!!!! As of March 2018, new floors, windows, carpet, and much more! New AC/Heat central system install summer 2021. Rustic mountain getaway just steps away from the Big Thompson River from starting at only $109/night in off-season! Situated between downtown Estes Park (less than one mile!) with plentiful shopping and restaurants, and Rocky Mountain National Park with bountiful wildlife, sight-seeing, and hiking opportunities. Enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the local elk heard meander through the property or stroll down to the Big Thompson to try your luck for the big catch. ( The river is only 100 feet away down the hill from the cabin at the end of a large, grassy common area.) Cabin is completely updated with contemporary mountain decor. The two-bedroom cabin features a wonderfully appointed master with a queen bed. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full bed on bottom and a twin on top--perfect for either a second couple's room or for the kids to enjoy. The living space has a wood burning fireplace to enjoy the crackle and warmth of a fire on a cool night. It also has a TV with cable, DVD, and WiFi for in-house entertainment. The futon in the living space pulls out to a queen-sized bed. The kitchen is fully equipped for being able to enjoy a home cooked meal even when away from home. Outside is a deck from which you can hear the cascading waters of the Big Thompson while cooking dinner on the BBQ. This cabin is in the perfect location to enjoy all of Estes Park's beauty as well as its downtown life. After we got some firewood, it warmed up the cabin very quickly! We used that fireplace every day we were there. We were typical tourists & we got to do many things. We had one meal at the cabin & one meal out everyday. The kitchen is just the right size & well stocked. The cabin was very clean & the queen bed was just right. The futon in the living room is anesthetically pleasing however the comfort is NOT there, sitting or laying down! Both the couch & the love seat need to be replaced! We liked the location of being close to the river but not too close, close to downtown.

The cabin has everything you need and only a few minutes from the park. It was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The washer any dyer was s huge plus for packing light. Communication was great and check in was a breeze. We will definitely be staying here again.

Cabin was nice sized and very clean. There are quite a bit more dishes/cookware, etc. than I expected. Very well laid out for a no worry getaway. Owner was easy to deal with and very quick with response times. Highly recommend!

Check in process is very easy and worry free. Finding the cabin is a little hard, but Alex's directions are very good. It's so nice to come into a clean place to stay! Cute, simple decorations. Not handicap accessible for anyone needing it. Quiet area. Wi-fi works great, cozy fireplace, big, beautiful windows to look out. We would recommend this place for sure!

My family came to visit from Texas and have always wanted to stay in a cabin in the mountains. The cabin was perfect and the location near the River beautiful scenery. We actually had a few deer visit one afternoon, my family was excited. The cabin was cozy, clean and everything we need it. I would definitely come back with family/Friends and recommend saying in this cabin.

Front cabin in a group of 6 gave excellent views. Cabin very nicely decorated with recent upgrades. Plenty of linens for bath and bedroom. Kitchen had everything we needed.
No complaints. Saw one bull elk across the drive who sat on the ground for a spell. Short walk to river with seating at its edge. Possibly only 50 ft walk. Cabin entrance is easy to miss until you do it a couple of times. Lots of cabins surrounding the area. Very satisfied h

Woke to elk outside. Comfortable and quaint. Kitchen had basic accommodations but could use some additional supplies for any sort of complicated cooking. We ate out at some great restaurants so wasn’t a problem but a traveling family looking to make cheaper meals at home will have to buy a lot of supplies.

The cabin was in a great location, just far enough away from the hustle of downtown Estes Park.
The kitchen was well appointed, the beds comfortable. We enjoyed the picnic/ grassy area provided.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The cabin is located very close to the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance.. very clean and wonderful amenities. Communication with the owner was fabulous and we truly enjoyed every minute of our time there. I would highly recommend this property.. when we come back to Estes Park we will definitely stay here again.

This cabin is in an excellent location close to downtown (walking distance) and Rocky Mountain National Park. My sister and I stayed from 9/16/23 thru 9/20. The cabin had everything we needed. My twin sister and her family stayed right below us in a house. One afternoon after shopping we returned to a bull elk and a cow and yearly in the yard below us. Will definitely will-stay at this location again. Highly recommend it. Alex keep me updated by email as far as what to do before arriving.

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything from reservation to check-in was easy since Alex provided excellent communication. The cabin was clean, comfortable and homey.The driveway was not easy to find but we were told about it beforehand and after a few tries it got easier. The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood not far from Rocky Mountain National Park entrances and downtown so it doesn't take long to get where you want. We were able to watch elk from the deck. That's a plus!

The cabin was very very nice! Had everything we needed! Early one morning we were able to enjoy a gathering of elk of all ages in the backyard! It was a very special stay for us!

Nice location, peaceful. It was quaint. Nicely redone. The mattresses could use replacing and a few things are needed in the kitchen, but overall worked well. The only real quirk was that the owner was very strict in the rules - not wearing shoes, wiping up the counters immediately, using coasters everywhere. It was not as relaxed as we had hoped because we were stressed about messing things up. We’re normally very considerate and clean so it wasn’t really an issue for us, but it made it harder to relax. Just an FYI for anyone who might not be as careful.

New upgrades, and very clean. Location is great. We spent most of our time in RMNP, and it was a very quick and easy drive into the park and we didn’t need to go through Estes Park, but we were just minutes from downtown. Also had food/shops/etc within walking distance.

Cabin is in a nice location to town and park. You can walk to town and avoid all the parking problems. Nice view of the river from the deck. We were greeted by an elk upon our arrival and she would show up every couple days. Park is beautiful and not over crowded due to the timed entry system being used.

Perfect place to stay for a visit to Rocky Mountain NP! 5 minutes from the main Park entrance, with wonderful views from the deck and access to the Big Thompson River. The elk were out in the lawn several days as promised! Plenty of room in the cabin for all your stuff and a great kitchen for cooking meals. A really comfortable place to stay with everything you need.

The cabin was just as describedN nicely done though out, great location just a few miles from RMNP and town ,also a few good places to eat within walking distance. Nice size deck with view of the river about 50 yds away, saw deer and elk almost daily on the property.
Owner was extremely good with communication, I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Estes Park….👍

We staid at the cabin to hike in RMP and it was amazing. The location to all things - town, the park, mini golf, coffee, market - was nice. We loved sitting on the deck staring out at the mountains while listening to the river. Cabin was very clean and well maintained.

This cabin was very well equipped. Seamless check-in with the lockbox. Great location near the river, which my grandson-9- adored.
We brought games but we’re happy to see that Alex had thought of providing some.

This cabin was perfect for my daughter’s senior spring break trip! So close to downtown Estes Park and so close to RMNP! Comfortable beds, plenty of towels and kitchen gear! Saw ALL the Elk in CO meandering the road into town. We would definitely stay there again!!
