Ein tolles Erlebnis

Ich wurde sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Gastgeber standen bei Fragen immer zur Verfügung, haben Wünsche bereits erfüllt bevor sie ausgesprochen wurden. Ich habe mich geradezu in die Familie integriert gefühlt. Die Nähe zur Mauer war perfekt, um diese ausserhalb der Touristenströme besuchen zu können. Aus diesem Grund lohnt sich eine Übernachtung vor Ort.

Excellent place! Highly recommended!

Very nice owner of the hotel with good level of spoken English. Hotel is located in a vicinity to Great Wall entrance. Hotel is very clean and with cozy interior, great common areas, beautiful terrace on the top of the building with great view on the China Great Wall.

Affordable, great location, exceptional service, lovely facilities

My family and I had an absolutely lovely stay. The homestay is affordable and the property is very conveniently located at the foot of the Mutianyu Great Wall. Lily and her husband Yang went absolutely out of their way to accomodate us. The food they cooked for us was some of the best we had. I highly recommend the Sichuan Potatoes! My mom also had a bad knee and Mr Yang offered to drive us up to the foot of the cablecar. While all other tourists are doing a great trek to just make it to the entrance, we were cruising by! Their family also has a souvenier shop and give you affordable prices! I highly highly recommend!

Excellent location

Location was perfect (10 minutes walking to Great Wall ticket entrance) and the staff was very supportive and kind.

Booking.com included breakfast although it was not real but breakfast price was really cheap

great simple and homey stay if you’re looking to visit the Great Wall.

the rooms are very cute and clean! the host family is absolutely kind and so helpful!! super close to the Great Wall entrance (10 min walk to the cable car that takes you up). the hosts helped us buy tickets to Great Wall and a bus ride back to the city (which saved us so much money). incredible view of mountains and nature (and you can also see a corner of the great wall) from the terrace on the top floor. also, do not forget to try the homemade dumplings and food!!! they’re incredible!

nothing bad about the house! just the area isn’t so alive with restaurants, grocery stores or bars…

Best location and best host

The room was nice and clean. Nice space clean and good size bathroom. The owner was super kind and helpful. The food was delicious. They have good selection of delicious meals. Their meal menu includes various meals from Chinese to western. 3rd floor roof top has a great view of the great wall of China. The most impressive thing was the owner's thoughtful and kind help for our journey to the wall. He even guided us to the wall entrance about a few minutes away and bought tickets cheaply than the Website. I definitely go back again.

Quick but warm stay

The family who owns the homestay is so wonderful. They had a great breakfast and even offer lunch or dinner if you would like it. I would say it is a bit expensive for one person for dinner options but she gave me a discount! Rooms were clean and plenty of hot water and good wifi. Homestay is literally a five minute walk to the wall

The address is No. 33 Mutianyu Wall and on booking.com it's different and it will show up on maps different (the homestay is further up the road) I called the phone number and they picked me up easily but just so you know for Didi, taxi or if you walk up from the main entrance.

A pleasant surprise in a friendly spot with outstanding home cooked food.

Extremely friendly and helpful family staff and the food is just out of this world. Best eggplant I’ve ever had and everything was good. A quick walk to the wall and nice view and place to sit on the balcony. Bed was comfortable and the room was simple but clean.

The best rooms are right next to one of the common areas so it was a little loud when people were socializing in the evening...but only an issue as we went to bed super early after a long day on the wall.

the overall condition of the room is acceptable. the drawing space is lager on the 2nd FL, video&audio facilities are available and is nice to have party with friends

maybe the custom oriented attitude need to be improved for them. A few cases of communication made us feel a little bit uncomfortable, even though their points might be right. the size of dish is unexpected compared with its price, and the taste is in average.

Lovely Guest House with great roof top and Wall access

My friends and I really enjoyed this little get away just a short (steep) walk from the last entrance to the Great Wall. The host family is very welcoming and dad made us some of the best food I have had in China - do try their barbecue fish - on the roof top terrasse during sundown. The rooms a really nice and everything is super clean. We had two rooms with balcony and also used the huge roof top terrasse and the indoor common areas. Overall we had a lovely stay and it comes with our best recommendations - very good value!

Wonderful break at the wall

Wonderful stay with my husband and daughter. Everything was great: the room was comfortable and super clean, dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the hosts were very kind and friendly.

Can't think of anything - it was all perfect! Be aware that the English name of this property is listed incorrectly on Booking.com. It is actually called Let's Go Cafe and Homestay.
