It is hard to believe that you step on to Barbati beach after passing through the garden gate and the blue sea is just in front of you.
Just open the gate at the bottom of a 1500 sq.m private garden and you’re on the beach.Just a little walk along from this beachfront villa and you come to a couple of beach bar/ restaurants. Just a walk up the hill and you find a number of great tavernas and a couple of supermarkets. Have fun with water sports Hire a boat and enjoy the glorious coastline with the many tavernas all waiting to help you moor up and then serve you a delicious lunch or an ice cold beer.
The villa is an two-floor building situated right on the Barbati beach a long (1 mile) beach with pebbles, awarded with the Blue Flag of the European community Barbati village ,one of the most popular areas of Corfu located in the scenic northeast coast, just 19km from Corfu town, airport and port lies at the foot of the highest mountain in Corfu, Pantokrator.Villa is a building, designed to preserve the privacy of residents. It is located on a seaside plot of land facing the beach and has its own private pool and a 1500 sq.m. absolutely beachfront fenced off child friendly private area of lawn and olive trees
Villa is set in an exclusive gated community, situated at the end of a row of three similar villas, with lush vegetation and tall trees acting as a natural border where needed.
The ground floor has a combined kitchen, dining and living area an open fireplace , 1 double bedroom with large wardrobe storage and 1 bathroom with shower cubicle . Glass doors open directly onto the garden and pool area.
The kitchen has fitted appliances including dishwasher and cooker ,microwave oven, as well as a filter coffee maker, toaster, kettle and everything else necessary for a comfortable stay.
The first floor has 1 double bedroom with large wardrobe storage with balcony overlooking the Ionian Sea, a twin bedroom and 1 bathroom with shower cubicle,
When you are on the first floor verandas, the breathtaking view leads you to immerse yourself in the deep blue of the Ionian Sea and embrace Corfu town beyond the horizon.

Chris is a fabulous host. House is located on quieter part of beach. Multiple beach bars and beach restaurants a short walk away. Also plenty of restaurants nearby in Barbeti town. Secure parking.

We had a wonderful holiday on Corfu and that was to a great deal due to this wonderful property and its garden and pool located next to the beach. Chris was a fantastic host and indeed very prompt and friendly in his communications. Everything just perfect!

This property is so well thought out and the host doesn’t miss a detail. Chris welcomed us in person and was readily available throughout our stay to help or offer suggestions. The pool and beach are perfection and the location made it easy to get to lots of different locations. There is also a lovely local market as welll as a couple of beach tavernas that we really enjoyed. Would highly, highly recommend!

I stayed at Cote Jardin Villa this month (Sept 2023) with my three sisters. We were enthralled with the location, the villa itself, the garden and pool area, in fact, the whole experience has left us with lots of wonderful memories, memories that we shall cherish, forever... The delightful host, Chris, was there to greet us and to show us around, he left us a fabulous 'welcome box' full of local goodies and a lovely chilled bottle of wine. He was on hand at all times to sort anything that needed sorting. However, nothing needed sorting, everything was just perfect. We were there for seven days and the bed linen and towels were changed half way through. The pool man also came twice that week to ensure the pool was ok. All in all we could not have been better looked after. I cannot recommend this villa enough, from beginning to end it was all perfect. My sisters and I were extremely reluctant to leave this beautiful place. Everything about it was definitely five star. The host was exceptional in his care and attention, nothing was too much trouble and he even checked in by message to make sure we were all ok. I would, without doubt, happily revisit Cote Jardin Villa anytime. Thank you VRBO and our wonderful host, Chris, for helping us make magical memories.

The location and the views are awesome. The owner is very friendly and communication was excellent. The outdoor area, garden and beach access was fantastic. The house itself resembles a small farm house. The bathrooms were good size, however the shower stalls were very small (2x2 Feet. 60cmx 60 cm).

We absolutely loved the villa and location , right on Barbetti beach. The villa is very comfortable and nicely decorated, the pool lovely and warm and the gardens are beautiful. There are a few lovely beach bars and restaurants on the beach which our teenagers loved and plenty of water sports to keep them entertained. We hired a boat from the other end of the beach and sailed around to Agni and to a gorgeous restaurant at Kalami beach over looking the sea where they help you moor your boat. We had an amazing stay here and Chris was very welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend this beautiful villa and hope to be back one day soon!

The property is set on a large plot with a lovely pool, well manicured garden and plenty of areas to relax. Inside living space was extremely clean and welcoming and while a little small and dated, the outside area more than makes up for it with beautiful views, all day sun, easy access to the sea and nearby restaurants / bars. Chris was incredibly warm and attentive to all our needs.

Just returned home from a 9 night stay at this absolutely beautiful Villa at Barbati, Corfu. From the moment we arrived til the day we left we couldn’t have wished for a more wonderful stay. A beachfront location with private swimming pool and beautiful large colourful gardens, this Villa truly is the most perfect accommodation anyone could wish for. The Villa itself had all amenities that you need with 3 lovely large bedrooms, one with a balcony with stunning views overlooking the garden and beach. The Villa and grounds are very private yet there are restaurants and shops within a very short walking distance. Our hosts Chrispanaretos and Sofia Anna his daughter were exceptional and supplied us with lots of very helpful information on the area. We cannot thank them enough for making our holiday so special and memorable.

If it is your first time to visit Corfu- make your base this simple yet stunning villa situated right on Barbati Beach. Believe all the photos that the kind and gracious owner Chris has posted- what you see is definitely what you get. And once you get there, you'll realise everything is even more beautiful than the photos! My family and I enjoyed every minute of our stay- the gardens and the beach any time of day or night, were an absolute joy to behold. We loved hanging out by the pool, having our daily sunset drinks and UNO card games by the "pink corner" at the front of the garden, and delicious, grilled home-cooked meals in the gazebo. This villa's stunning beauty and comfort, teamed with Corfu's amazing natural produce and its wonderful people will surely guarantee a family holiday that will be remembered for many many years to come. Excellent beach villa. It has a huge and stunning garden that is even photographed by by-walkers a lot as it is really outstanding. Having a direct access to the beach is perfect, cristal clear waters are waiting. Bars and restaurants nearby, what to expect more for a beach holiday. Chris, the owner, is responding and very kind. There is even a weekly cleaning service. An outstanding holiday home!

Relaxing & Exploring Corfu
We were looking for a home that was on the water, in a quiet area, walking distance to restaurants & coffee shops and easy access to other areas to explore. This home exceeded our expectations!
We traveled with another couple and the home was perfect for us with separate space for each couple, the home is in great shape, the kitchen is modern, the AC works well (it was unusually hot outside), the pool was fantastic and the setting right on the beach was perfect and gave us the opportunity to choose between the pool or the beach or both! We highly recommend this home!

beautiful place
This 3-bedroom home is in an outstanding location. It has its own lawn and garden, with a variety of flowers, and a lovely pool in the middle. There are several seating areas for outdoor dining or drinks. At the far end is a gate that opens directly onto to the Barbati beach, which is pebbled but very nice. The house is comfortable and is fully air-conditioned. It is part of a 3-home complex that has its own gated entrance. As an added attraction, two excellent beach-side restaurants are just down the beach, where there are also a boat-rental and a parasailing business. In the middle of our stay, the full-size refrigerator/freezer broke down and had to be defrosted, but Chris, the manager, brought over a small refrigerator to tide us over in the interim. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this home for the reasons above. The only negative was that there are mosquitoes outdoors in the evening, but I believe that this is true for most of Corfu.

Everything and more. We had an absolutely wonderful week at a luxurious villa with a pool and a beach. It was definitely all it was billed. The location is phenomenal you can walk to a number of restaurants in a couple of groceries. In addition we had a car and got to see a good deal of the island on all sides it is a hidden gem.

Brilliant family location
Lovely property with an extensive garden and beach access. Hired a boat to explore the island from the beach. Great beach bars 100m away. Kids were entertained by the water sport facilities. Perfect for families as there is something for everyone. Loved the fact that the beach were frequented by local families, it gave the place a real warm Greek local feel. Highly recommend this property.

We loved every moment of our two-week stay in Chris’ beautiful property. The house is very cute, and the grounds are stunning: a huge garden full of flowers right by the beach. The pool was great for our friends’ kids; we all enjoyed just stepping out of the gate and taking a bath in the chrystal-clear waters of the sea right in front of the house.
The two beach-front restaurants right around the corner were a great option for food when we didn’t want to drive or cook; some of the tavernas in the little coves further up the coast were simply amazing.
Chris was an incredibly friendly and forthcoming host.
We couldn’t have been luckier with our choice of accommodation. We’ll certainly come back in the future!

Cozy Corfu Beachfront
This is a gem of a property. In a small, private gated community, this small but very liveable 3br/2br house has A/C units in every room. Safe, quiet, and super private. Walk to two amazing beachfront restaurants! Barbati is where the locals go to relax. We practically lived in the private pool. We bought some float toys to use in the pool and the sea (which was so calm and relaxing). Loved our stay in Corfu and Chris’s property was definitely the highlight.

Perfect!!
My sister and I stayed here for 4 days and it was absolutely perfect! Chris met us when we arrived and showed us around which was much appreciated. The villa itself is so cute, but the outdoor area is absolutely stunning!! We loved how close it was to the beach. It was so nice to pop out of the villa, take a swim in the sea, and come back to lounging by the pool. We didn’t rent a car and my sister had a broken foot so we didn’t get to explore much but we had all we needed in the immediate area (the market and the 2 beach bars were great!). I highly recommend staying here! We would love to return one day.

Lovely location right on the beach. Just walk through the gate at the end of the beautiful garden. Comfortable for two couples and a baby. Sheer perfection.
The villa is in a stunning cove with amenities and activities a short beach walk away. The terrace on the top floor provides a backdrop for morning coffee/tea and evening ouzo. Beach is pebbles and it sandy so bring water shoes.
Definitely recommend a day on the water by renting a boat with Sprios. His son, George, is funny, accommodating and helpful. Seeing the island by boat is a day to remember.
The local tavernas are fabulous and you can sit and enjoy food and drinks with a view.
Barbati Beach is a lovely area.

An outstanding place to stay, in a perfect position
This Villa is in a beautiful position, right on the beach and within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. The property was in very good and clean condition, with the outstanding feature being the garden, which has a lovely small swimming pool, and plenty of shaded areas for those wishing to get out of the sun. Full air conditioning and comfortable beds and furniture. Highly recommended, we are already discussing our return next year!

A lovely villa in a superb location right on the beach
We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing holiday in Chris and Angela’s villa on Barbati beach. Being the school holidays it is probably one of the busiest times on the beach , which we were expecting, however ,that said ,the part outside of the villa was generally the quietest. Early morning walks along the beach and watching the sunrise over Albania were amazing and solitary.
We did not bother with a car using the local mini mart and restaurants/tavernas which are all walking distance from the villa. We hired a boat from Spiros just along the beach from the villa and spent a day visiting small empty beaches along the coast.
Chris and Angela were very friendly and helpful making sure our stay was as relaxing and stress free as possible, replacing the coffee pot within hours of it breaking!
Overall a great villa in a perfect location for a relaxing holiday. We would definitely return in the future and recommend the villa for its beach location.

Amazing week in an amazing villa
We are just back from a fabulous week in Corfu. The villa has everything you need. The air conditioning was a real bonus as the weather was super hot! The pool is great and to be able to walk on to the beach at the end of the garden is such a bonus. The beach was fairly busy but not at the bit outside the villa and to the right. Lots of lovely restaurants on the beach and in Barbati itself. We hired a boat from George at Spiros boat hire right in the beach which is the best way to see the island. We had a super week, thank you Chris!

Perfect beach holiday villa
We had the most fantastic stay here. It was so relaxing, everything on hand within walking distance, great beaches with such clear turquoise seas, tavernas, shops and water sports.
The villa is very well equipped with everything you need. It is also very quiet and peaceful despite being on the edge of the town.
We really enjoyed our morning walk to the shop to collect the most delicious fresh croissants for breakfast.
The pool is lovely with plenty of sun loungers to relax on.
We had such fun hiring a boat from Spiros (who was so helpful and friendly) just outside the villa on the beach and going off exploring some idyllic beaches and wonderful beach tavernas.
The only problem was our stay went too quickly. A week wasn't long enough!

Perfect location for a relaxing week by the sea
The villa is the ideal place to unwind and relax : comfortable house, spectacular views across the bay, friendly local tavernas and bars and a beautiful garden filled with colourful bourgainvillea, oleander, jasmine and pomegranate bushes and a host of butterflies. We spent a very enjoyable week in the sunshine, dipping in and out of the pool, reading in the shade and sitting on the upper balcony
in the evening looking over the floodlit garden with a glass of wine and watching the stars come up.

The Perfect Holiday!
We were the first people to use the villa this season and had the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. Just Perfect. The villa garden and location is a little piece of paradise. I loved my breakfast on the balcony overlooking the pool and garden. There is plenty of space and interest for everyone. Teenagers happy with wifi and power supply in garden for their all essential phones and laptops for exam revision. Eleven year old content to spend all day going between the pool and sea and back again. Husband happy to snooze on sun lounger, there was nothing not to like about the place.
We were there early April and the resort was not really open, most restaurants and water front activities were still closed for the winter which meant that we had the beach pretty much to ourselves , just a few people fishing and the occasional swimmer.
Having taken the unusual step of not hiring a car, we had decided we wanted a relaxing holiday so we used the green bus service. It was great to let someone else do the driving and take in the views. There is a car hire service in Barbati and I think as we are definitely going again we would use them for at least a couple of days of the holiday to explore more of the island.
Chris could not have been more hospitable and the welcome basket of groceries to get us started was a lovely touch. Hope he has availability in 2019 ! See you next year Chris.
