Pleasant but lots of issues with the property that should have been checked/fixed before anyone stayed in the proper
The overall appearance was very nice with a lot of additional touches (umbrella, binoculars, games, etc ). Nice and warm. It was clean. Nice unobstructed views from large windows. Very quiet.
The Sky TV did not work for the 3 days we were there. No one was available to fix until the day we were leaving. Lots of light bulbs out. Upon arrival the hob was child locked that took a bit of figuring out. Dishwasher drawer was misaligned and would not pull out (I fixed that). The hot tub was cold when we arrived. We complained we were told that there was an additional charge and it would take a few hours to warm up because the water had been changed that day. 4 hours later it was still cold. The additional charge was not obvious in our original booking. Although they did send somebody the next day to fix it we didn’t use it because of the additional charge. Little things but they all add up. The property is very remote with a 15 mile drive on a single lane road with passing places to get to it.

The property was lovely just needs a few things addressing but would recommend
We stayed at this property for a long weekend whilst travelling around Scotland. The property is in a stunning position and loved having thr sheep walking around the roads. The house had a fantastic outlook from the big windows over marsh land. The property was very nice with a lovely large lounge, kitchen with the open plan dining and seating area, which is fantastic for entertaining as well as lovely large bedrooms, bathrooms and had an added luxury of a sauna in the main bathroom which was a nice touch. The beds and pillows were really comfortable.
Opening and shutting the gate to keep the deer and sheep out. The gate has dropped a lot and very difficult to open and shut. There was a cattle grid and the garden was overgrown so couldn’t understand why the gate was there. The property could do with a little more cleaning. The shower in the main bathroom was quite dirty in the corner, if you shut the doors it is obvious that it hasn’t been cleaned behind the doors, kitchen cupboards/ draws dirty and the dishwasher was a pain as it is not fitted properly and catches. The lounge is lovely with the big picture window but even this time of the year it gets very hot and you are just unable to see in the sunshine so we tended to sit downstairs but this had no entertainment like a TV or music which was a shame. I was also not aware a Bond was required until after we booked and £300 for a weekend is a bit steep especially when I had to wait over two weeks for it to be returned.
