Exceptional views, exceptional hosts, exceptional location!

Fantastic location- it really doesn’t get any better! Brilliant views of the Old Harbour, large and comfortable home away from home with the loveliest and exceptionally generous hosts with both their time (providing numerous options for where to go, what to see) and in food supplies, and wine (even gluten free bread & wafers for me)!!! Honestly, we’ve never experienced such warmth and generosity-Alba and William go above and beyond to make their guests 100% satisfied. Truly 10/10!

Wonderful, perfect, amazing Casa Alba!!!! Stay here!!

There are almost not enough words to describe how wonderful our stay at Casa Alba was. The location and the view was amazing. The home was just beautiful. The thoughtful amenities provided by the owners Alba and William were abundant and we were absolutely wowed with their thoughtfulness and generosity. we found the kitchen stocked with coffee, breakfast rolls, homemade marmalades and honey, crackers, cookies, candy, cold drinks in the fridge that included waters, iced teas, beer and wine. There was no need as a traveler that was not thought of and provided by Alba and William! Alba checked in with us daily via messenger to ensure we were enjoying our stay and we’re not in need of anything else. The rooftop terrace and view was breathtaking! we spent many evenings enjoying delicious food and wine we purchased at one of the many nearby restaurants and shops all within the immediate area. We would not have wanted to stay anywhere other than Casa Alba in Chania!! If you are thinking about visiting the beautiful area of Chania Crete (which you should because it is wonderful!!! better than santorini as far as food, friendliness of the people, cost and ability to get around safely and easily), I highly recommend staying at Casa Alba! I traveled with 3 girlfriends to Greece for 16 days with stops in Athens, Crete (Chania), santorini and Paros. Chania and specifically Casa Alba blew us away!! Thank you so very much Alba and William for making our stay in Chania absolutely AMAZING!! We will never forget your kindness and generosity and will recommend your house to all of our friends and family looking to experience the island of Crete! ❤️❤️

Absolutely amazing stay at Casa Alba with hosts that exceed expectations!!

Casa Alba is incredible as are William and his sister and wife who all pitched in to make our stay in Chania AMAZING! The apartment is UNBELIEVABLE with tons of space and the most remarkable views of the port from both the roof top deck (huge) and the balcony off the living room. William met us to show us around and offered endless tips on where to go and what to see. They also helped with transfers to the airport and kept our luggage in their car while we spent the day sightseeing!! The apartment bathrooms are stocked with everything and the fridge included a lovely bottle of wine, some soft drinks, beer, lots of water AND ice cream in the freezer!! I could go on and on...suffice to say, Casa Alba is a FIND!!! The only regret I have is not staying longer (...we tried but they are fully booked) 10 on 10!

Wow, what can I say? The view, the care and consideration of the hosts, the facilities, the kindness shown were all exceptional. Alba and Georgia arranged our airport transfer, met us from the taxi, and had arranged local wine, home grown fruit, home produced honey and jams and a freshly made cake for our arrival. After mentioning how good the home grown and pressed olive oil was, I even recieved some small bottles as leaving gifts from Georgia - this is an example of the thoughtfulness. I travel regularly with work and have stayed in thousands of hotels and I can honestly say that I have NEVER had hospitality as good as this. Seriously, this is 11/10! I can only thank Alba and Georgia for making us feel so welcome with their proud Cretan hospitality. The apartment is wonderful and there are so many places to eat and drink just on the doorstep which are good value. The sun on the roof terrace or balcony in the morning warms the soul with the perfect view of the harbour, lighthouse and the sea. The atmosphere is both vibrant yet peaceful, perfect for an escape. We are a family of five and had plenty of space and we enjoyed the walks to the beaches in the day and relaxing walks around the harbour and old town. In summary... PERFECT!

Excellent, we will come back just to stay here!

An excellent stay; deserving of a 10/10 rating. It is the only private residence on the Venitian Harbor, and it is well done. Alba and her son William have a well designed remodel of a 300+ year old residence. It came very well stocked. Location is perfect - right on the harbor next to the Maritime Museum, very near restaurants and not far from the beach. Excellent hosts - proactive (reached out to confirm all was going well) and responsive (helped us arrange a rental car).

Be prepared for a few stairs, up to the apartment and to the loft 2 bedrooms, and the roof terrace (which has fantastic views). Not an issue for us, but do be aware if mobility limited.

We loved our time staying in Casa Alba Seaview.

The apartment was in a wonderful location and had lots of character - it was really beautiful. Everything you could need was included - bathrooms stocked with all toiletries. The kitchen was stocked well even with unexpected extras like fresh fruit. We were met by the host and besides going through the details of the apartment, we got excellent recommendations for restaurants. We will stay there again.

Can’t wait to come back!

EVERYTHING! The villa was BEAUTIFUL! Right in the middle of the town and the views from BOTH balconies were stunning. The villa is huge and can accommodate quite a few people. The rooftop terrace was such a bonus and a perfect thing to have for a glass of wine while watching the sunset. William had the house stocked with everything we could have ever needed! He even stocked the fridge with water, wine, beer, snacks and grapes and yogurts. Many other snacks on the counter as well. He and his wife thought of everything with this villa and we had such a wonderful stay. Nonnie, helped us with booking tours and excursions and helped us set up all of our transfers. She was such a nice help and so very accommodating. We would recommend this property to anyone and everyone going to Crete

Casa Alba is an amazing gem right in the heart of Chania. The place is unique and beautiful with everything you could possibly need. The fridge was stocked with fruits, yogurts, juices , croissants , cookies and snacks and more! Oh and a lovely bottle of wine as well as beer. They even got special little yogurts for my kids. William and his mom were so kind and William even saved us a parking spot to give us so We wouldn’t have to search for parking when we arrived bc parking can be a bit hectic in Chania! I mean- wow! Alba was so kind through all the back and forth messages and provided us with a lot of recommendations - we never met her but she is beyond kind and really wants to make your stay in Chania the best! The view is to die for- you have a cute little balcony right off the living room and a beautiful roof top space . It’s truly amazing! William went through everything upon arrival and when we were leaving he came to say goodbye and gave us gifts! We had mentioned to him how our two young kids loved the cats all over Chania and they got them some kitty gifts! If you are heading to Chania and want an amazing , special unique place with the best host- casa Alba is it!

The feel of the place is better than the pictures can depict. It has a soul unlike the hotels. And it properly feels like a home since you have everything you might need from the get go. They stock it so so well. The most thoughtful hosts. Check in and check out was easy and very flexible. They do a mid week cleaning so you are nit pestered daily. Sets the gold standard for a rental home.

My bed at home is bigger so maybe that's one thing I would want is a bigger bed but hard to really fault it. Parking is hit and miss but within minutes we found parking 5-7 mins away several tomes in the week so not a big deal for me.

Perfect...............

The location is perfect, the views are superb. Williams exceptional generosity is unequaled, the amount of goodies he provides is amazing, beer, wine, chocolates, fruit, snacks...……..the list is endless. We have had the most perfect holiday, in a beautiful place, in a superb location and in fantastic accommodation...…...it doesn't get much better.

Casa Alba is a gem in Chania, Crete. It was amazing to wake up every morning overlooking the water and the lighthouse. William was waiting for us when we arrived and showed everything about the house. He also personally spoke with the owner of a local restaurant and made sure we felt home in Chania. That restaurant was so amazing (Galianni) that we had dinner every night during our stay. There is something special about Crete. We are sure that our stay wouldn’t be nearly as good if we didn’t stay at Casa Alba. As I said, this place is a hidden secret in Chania. I forgot to mention the 3rd floor patio overlooking Chania old port! William also made sure our refrigerator was stocked with fruits, eggs, butter, all items needed for a nice breakfast, what makes a huge difference when traveling with children. Thanks for making our stay is Chania so special.

The property, location and the hosts are a perfect combination for an amazing vacation. We loved everything about casa Alba.
