The fabulous panoramic sea views that welcome you as you open Villa Miranda's front door are breath-taking, and you know you'll want to spend hours on the veranda gazing at the captivating sea views while drinking coffee or sipping a glass of wine!
The relaxing, bright living room has a comfy sofa, two armchairs and a writing desk. The smart TV has international and BBC channels, is Netflix enabled, and there are books and games. The dining area, with a table & 6 chairs and matching sideboard, opens onto the veranda where a patio dining set is perfect for al fresco meals with sea views to die for!
The well-equipped kitchen has all the electrical appliances you'll need, and ample crockery, cookware, utensils, pots & pans. A service hatch links to the dining room and also gives the cook a sea view while preparing food! The kitchen patio, with a pretty bougainvillea-covered pergola, has a table and chairs, a brick BBQ and steps down to the pool area.
The entrance hall has a guest bathroom and stairs down to the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedroom 1, with en-suite walk-in shower, bidet & WC, has a 5 ft bed, fitted wardrobe and doors to the pool patio. Bedroom 2 has twin beds, fitted wardrobe and doors to the pool area. Beside Bedroom 2, the family bathroom has shower and toilet.
There is air con throughout the villa.

Quiet and relaxing, just what we wanted.
Fabulous panoramic views in great location, close enough to more than enough excellent restaurants and the beach etc.
Loved the pool and various garden areas for relaxing and dining. The property was well furnished and had everything we could ever need and we made use of the built in bbq on several occasions.
We would definitely visit again.

This villa has stunning views, is very spacious and stocked with everything you could need. We had the best time staying here. The hosts could not be more helpful and provide you with all the information you could need for the local area. Their recommendations for restaurants were spot on. The pool was perfect for the days we decided to spend at the villa. A short walk to the main beach, supermarkets and restaurants. It's on a hill but thay didn't bother us, in fact it was a good work out to keep off those extra holiday lbs from the Bola de Berlims- delicious. Thank you for making this such a perfect stay.

We had a wonderful family holiday in the villa. It had a perfect pool for kids to play in at the end of each day, a well equipped kitchen, plenty of space, good size beds (husband 6ft 5) and great showers. Just on the edge of Luz made it easy to walk into the village or get in the car to explore local beaches! Lots of fun had.

Our family of 4 with 2 teen daughters loved this villa for our R&R time midway through a month long trip. The views are amazing so we really enjoyed our morning coffee & dinners! The kitchen is well stocked. The private pool is such a luxury! Luz is fantastic…just the right size! The beach is beautiful & convenient. But you’re also so close to Lagos for activities such as kayaking. The hosts were friendly & responsive & gave some great recommendations. We checked out Situo Do Forno on our dive down from Lisbon & loved it!! Would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect location in the quiet village of Luz. If you don’ t mind walking just under 15 minutes into town and negotiating the walk back to the villa on the hill. We loved it!
Had 2 issues that came up and owners and property managers were very responsive. We preferred the Luz location with a 10 minute taxi ride to Lagos whenever we wanted different restaurants or boat cruises. Lovely beach and easy access to cliff walks. Ocean view from the villa veranda is as pictured or take your coffee on the shady front patio in the morning. We were charmed

The view is fantastic, we had many a lazy breakfast or early evening glass of wine sat on the balcony.

We arrived Apr 8 and left Apr 30/23. The property was as described in the ad. Very nice sport and within walking distance from beach, grocery stores, restaurants. Some maintenance was required but the property manager immediately took care of it. We would recommend this property

Really well equipped Villa, in a great location to be able to walk to the beach and the town. Easy and close parking. The views were stunning from the balcony. Quiet and peaceful location and the private pool made it a perfect stay all round.

We loved this villa and Praia Da Luz! The view from the balcony is absolutely wonderful and we never tired of sitting out there. In fact on the last night we saw shooting stars over the sea. It’s a nice quiet street and a 10/15 minute walk down to the beach and restaurants. There are some lovely local walks and a great hike into Lagos which we enjoyed. Highly recommend Villa Miranda!

Lovely villa
We were really pleased with the villa, it was equipped with everything you could possibly want and a nice outside space too. Short distance into the town which is rather sleepy in the evenings but has some lovely restaurants. Really pleased with the service we received throughout our stay in the property and would definitely recommend it.

Yep, so good we've booked again for next year. Everything you need...bright, well appointed and super clean. From a morning balcony coffee looking out to sea and across to lovely Luz, to a midday dip in the pool to an end of day BBQ...Miranda has it all. Great parking. West Algarve and the Atlantic Coast only a short drive away. Cannot recommend the Villa Miranda highly enough

Great villa in a wonderful location
We had a great stay in this villa, clean, tidy and well equipped. It is in good proximity to local restaurants and walking distance to the beach, shops, bars etc as well. The view from the balcony is stunning and the pool is perfect for a cool down and for the kids to play in. For the money, this villa is exactly as described and offers a very good location and base for any couples or family holidays!

Very Lovely Property
A travel friend and myself stayed at this two bedroom villa for 12 days and enjoyed its surroundings and amenities immensely! The sea and cliffs views are without a doubt outstanding!
The villa itself was well appointed and very clean. The pool was a wonderful addition and we certainly enjoyed our use of it, despite the time of year and the cooler water temperatures.
The property manager Clara was always available and very pleasant to work with. The gardens and the pool were maintained regularly.
The only disappointment for me was that the bbq was quite small and that it wasn't a traditional Portuguese brick built bbq which is such a wonderful feature in other villas I have rented while vacationing in Portugal. It is the reason I give this property a four star rating vs a five star rating. It is a personal preference of mine and that may not be a concern for others. It is certainly not a reason for not renting this villa.
This property is ideally located; well within walking distance to restaurants, delightful pubs and cafes, food markets, pharmacy, post office etc as well as beautiful Praia da Luz beach!
Morning walks are a joy and the villagers are a pleasure to come to know!
I would highly recommend this property and commend the owners and property manager for the attention they give to it to ensure their guests have a very memorable stay!

Delightful location, perfect property
We are a family of four including 2 teenagers and have rented through VRBO often. This property listing sounded great and it was even better when we arrived. We visited in the off-season. Approx. 30% of the town was open including English pubs, Irish pubs, Chinese and Portugese restaurants, good grocery store with metropolitan grocery store in Lagos, 15 min. away. A good clinic is available in Luz, open during regular business hours. Hospital and police are located in Lagos. The temps were in the low 60s daily, we enjoyed breakfast on the covered balcony which faces East, overlooking our private pool, lovely garden below and ocean in the distance. We were comfortable wearing t-shirts with a sweater. The walk down to the village square and beach is 5 minutes. The walk back is uphill which we did not find strenuous. Neighbors and townspeople were pleasant and welcoming. The owners or staff were available for questions. Every need is anticipated in this well-furnished villa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again and stay longer.

Fantastic place to stay
I have just returned from a fantastic holiday with my husband and daughters aged 19 and 15. The villa was everything we needed, it was furnished to a high standard and kept very clean during our stay as was the garden and pool. The photos of the view of the veranda does not do it justice, we could have spent the day watching the Atlantic with its fishing boats and wind surfers. The weather was very warm for the 2 week stay but there was always some shade you could relax in. The hill is steep but unless you have a disability this would not be a problem. Having Luz so easy to hand and our own pool was a luxury. A car is useful to travel to some lovely nearby beaches and 2 good water parks. I recommend the Amici restaurant and the Fort on the beach, both served very good and reasonably priced food.
