Gutes Hotel aber Preis etwas zu hoch.

Gefallen hat mir die Lage, das wirklich hervorragende Frühstück, die Größe der Zimmer.

Ich fand die gehobene Abendgastronomie, im Vergleich zum Hotel etwas zu teuer.

The location and the old buildings themselves were quite charming.

The online description as well as the title of the hotel (Hotel Restaurant & Spa) promised a normal spa facility of some sort - instead, what you get is a sauna (2 sauna rooms to be exact), which is basically closed and will be heated upon request if you let them know 1 hour before you plan to use it... This is no wellness and no spa! The description is utterly misleading... The double bed is extremely soft, not very healthy or comfortable.

Most unfortunate experience in Lübeck

The area of the hotel looks nice, a lot of greenery and space for walking. The buildings look authentic and interesting. The reception was able to arrange a late check-in (10 p.m.). And a special plus - you can bring pets.

There are more minuses than pluses. First, the price is high for such a hotel. For 180 euros you get old-fashioned rooms with no air conditioning and thin walls (the neighbors were very audible). We. checked in just for the night, the total booking time was 12 hours. Checkout was scheduled for 11 a.m., so we didn't even get to use the spa (the spa opens at 12). A special nuance is the accommodation with pets. Make sure that. you contact the hotel in advance and book a room where pets are allowed. My mistake for not doing so, there was no precedent before, but at the time of check-in there were no such rooms. We were checked into a regular room and charged 100 euros for extra cleaning! 50 per dog. The price for cleaning after a night's stay seems unreasonably high, this should be written about in the hotel description. We will not come here again, would not recommend it.

Well worth a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Our room was spacious and well-appointed. The ensuite bathroom was spacious, clean and also well-appointed. The restaurant was first class; the wine list and the food were outstanding, as were the serving staff - knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The receptionist at the front of house was very welcoming, friendly and efficient. All in all a great stay, highly recommended and well worth another visit. The breakfast was plentiful and well laid out. A great start to the day..

It was not immediately clear where the reception was and although the location was not extensive, I did have to walk around to find the right place to check-in.

Overall we had a very nice stay and hope to return in the future in a warmer season.

We had two rooms as we are a family of five. The large room was very nice with a beautiful view from the window. The breakfast was also very good and great selection. My daughter and I had a massage at the spa and that was great!

In the large family room the jacuzzi bath was out of service. When we asked reception when it would be fixed we were informed that the technician comes on Monday (our stay was from Fri-Sun). The TV in the room only had German TV channels and we were unable to use Chrome. Parking was challenging as spaces are limited. There is a coffee machine in the large room that seemingly didnt work. We asked at reception to get help on this but this did not materialize. The reception is supposed to be open from 7-9pm but often we had to call from the phone at reception as noone was there. The spa area looks like it is unfinished cause wires are still hanging down from the ceilings without light shades. We missed an indoor swimming pool in the spa. The shower in our 2nd room was rather small. It would be nice to have a floor rug in the shower/bathrooms especially for the cold winter season. On Friday evening I had dinner at the restaurant with my daughter after our massage. The food took far too long to come to our table by which time my daughter was too tired and almost fell asleep and didnt eat her dinner. Not all staff spoke English.

The hotel is in a very nice country side. Quite and good atmosphere. Parking had charging for our E-tron. We had a superior room and it was very nice. For ex a terass to the garden. The dinner was fantastic. Service , taste etc. Great breakfast. Can recommend this hotel.

A wonderful hotel in the country side, perfect if you are looking for a nice quiet place.

Very spacy room and a balcony door entering into a beatiful garden. The breakfast was good, but Would say it was not in the same level as the rest of the hotel and the level of staff. Very good service by the staff.

Quiet and clean, we enjoyed this beautiful hotel

The breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel is set beautifully in the countryside and the surroundings are picturesque. The staff were very kind and helpful.

The double bed was two single beds pushed together which meant they started to glide apart, and the mattresses felt like they leaned a little to the side.
