Ottimo soggiorno in un ambiente signorile

Abbiamo soggiornato in una camera soppalcata posta su un bell'edificio a lato del grande terrazzo sommitale. Arredamento con gusto "antico , "spazi sufficienti per riporre con ordine le cose.Angolo cucina..Buona comunicazione, personale gentile e colazione molto ricca e diversificata.

Solo cose minori: Illuminazione sopra il letto non funzionante.Abat-jour solo da un lato letto. I soffitti sono molto alti tanto da rendere possibile un agevole soppalco. Questo fa sì che nella stagione fredda (o non calda) il calore generato dall'unico condizionatore tenda ad andare verso l'alto lasciando un po' freddo il piano inferiore. Ovviamente d'estate la situazione sarà ribaltata con fresco nel piano principale.

I would stay there again.

The room was simple and a bit old-fashioned, which might bother some people, but I thought it was perfect for a restored 19th-century landmark. It had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean, and the bed was comfortable. Upstairs is a lounge with antique furniture, a bar, and a terrace with a nice view of the sea, which is just across the street. Gabriela is a friendly and helpful host.

We were only there one night. I have no complaints.

Santa Cesarea Terme is beautiful, the villa is only beautiful from the outside and has a nice view from the parking in front of the villa.

Very bad room, lots of bugs and caterpillars in the room. Also a horrible, heavy and pungent smell in the room. We asked at the reception to change our room, they told us all the rooms are the same, but if we want to change we have to pay an extra €50! The breakfast is poor! No vegetables!

Calm and romantic

Romantic place. You can walk througt the Villa, enjoy the atmosfere, take a picture....like you are in a time capsule. Calm and beautiful. Room Scirocco has most beautifull balcony with see view.

We were very pleased with this accommodation.

We booked two rooms. The sea facing room was gorgeous, opening into a balcony overlooking the ocean. The hotel was spotless and very elegant and the staff welcoming and lovely. The breakfast service and dining room excellent.

Wonderful stay!

My stay at Villa Raffaella was fantastic! The Villa is an historical building facing right in front of the sea and very close to main restaurants and beaches of Santa Cesarea Terme. The bus stop of the Salento in bus service is right in front of the Villa (so very convenient for those like me moving around by bus or those interested in doing the 'Cammino del Salento' hike). My room was very big and super clean, with a beautiful terrace facing the sea. Breakfast Last but not least, the owner of the Villa was super nice (he let me check-in in advance) and staff members were super welcoming and professional. I had a great (though short) stay!

I think that given the beauty of the building (and the historical value), there are little details that can be improved (e.g., the bidet very close to the shower, the toilet cover was a bit damaged, the fridge in the room was old) but nothing that makes your stay uncomfortable really!

Room was spacious with a stunning view. It was also very functional and cosy. Staff very friendly and helpful. I have no complaints whatsoever.

Nothing, I would have perhaps put some plants and a bit more furniture in the terrace on the top floor. BBQ facility would have been nice there. Just give it a bit more atmosphere.

The staff are helpful and easy to contact. The facilities are good and the rooms are comfortable.

The staff were very helpful and easy to contact at any time. Our room (on the ground floor) was spacious and had air conditioning, a small fridge with complimentary water in, a TV, towels, a wardrobe and complimentary toiletries. We were able to use the self check-in as we arrived later in the evening, and this was easy to do.

There was nothing that we actively disliked. One thing that would have made our stay even more comfortable would be to have an extra pillow (two per person) instead of just one. The pillows were very high quality though!

Overall we enjoyed our stay here very much. A beautiful villa with tons of character. We loved the location! close to everything and a beautiful view.

Accessing the building's main door after hours was a little tricky. Not very easy to enter or leave,

In our room (Tramantana) the double bad was on the gallery, but we almost every day hit our had into the wall/top. This room has no picture at all. the bathroom can lock just from outside, and the doors window is almost totally transparent.

Perfect sea getaway!

wow, this is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed! I felt like I was in a palace, the property is so incredibly beautiful! the room was perfect with wonderful light coming into the huge windows and an amazing terrace view of the sea. The place itself felt like a peaceful retreat. The breakfast was fantastic and staff were really friendly and helpful with recommendations! I would travel to Sant Cesarea Terme again, just to stay here!

Great room but let down by shower and breakfast.

The Villa is stunning to look at from the outside. Our room was beautiful and was furnished appropriately. The view from our 2 large french doors was gorgeous and we loved the terrace access we had. There was a lovely communal sitting room and the whole place was peaceful. Giorgio was friendly and helpful.

The shower was pretty terrible - especially for a 4 night stay - the shower attachment was broken from the outset and the cubicle was tiny. However, we were willing to accept this for the fantastic room and price. Breakfast was something else! The food was very disappointing and lots was not fresh. The breakfast staff were not helpful - gossiping and on their phones a lot of the time. The boiled eggs ran out one morning at 08.30 and we were told that there were no more until tomorrow. Breakfast times are 8-10am. We say this because we feel that this could easily be improved upon with fresh produce and staff training.

The best location, friendly people and good service

Beautiful location and the villa itself is really fantastic. It is relaxing because of the way it is designed and because of its view: the see. For anyone who is looking for a place in the southern part of Italy this idyllic accommodation is by far the best choice to stay. It’s really fantastic!

Excellent location right in front of the sea. One of the best pasticcioti I've had!

The room was a bit dark and looked old. The photo of the room we chose on Booking looked much nicer (and we even got a free upgrade). Staff at the cafe was not attentive.

The city where it is located is itself not very nice, seems like it stopped in time in the 80's And unfortunately the old building is not used as it should, with good decoration or good services. A pity
