couldn't recommend Cranston House highly enough - perfect for what we wanted

Perfectly clean, spacious room. The option of continental or cooked breakfast was perfect for us. If we are ever anywhere Near East Grinstead again we wouldn't hesitate to stay @ Cranston House. Easy quick walk into town for evening eating!

Good size single room. Smallish bathroom but adequate. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Nice breakfast. Brian was the perfect host.

Maybe I would pay extra next time for a bigger room.

Decent, but not cheap. Needs better soundproofing. I thought a cold breakfast should have been much less £.

Reasonably clean. Reasonably central. Not fantastic. Mostly quiet, but if neighbouring rooms were moving around / opening & shutting doors, then highly audible.

No hot breakfast, only cold ‘buffet’ - cereal and toast. Very poor selection. There was no information booklet in the room, which was on the second floor (in the attic) so lots of going up & down stairs. Chilly until I worked out the radiator - hosts could have turned heating on to take chill off before I arrived. The water flow to toilet and basin was dreadful unless I turned the ‘shower booster’ on. Water draining from shower ‘burped’ in the shower & was a bit smelly.

Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

This place is amazing. I thought it will be just ok, but it was very clean, quiet, comfortable and the room was very spacious! The towels smelled very nice which gives an extra sense of cleanliness. If they add a microwave to the room, you can basically live there if you want!

Being a house, the walls are not sound proof and you can hear the noise from other guests specially at night. As the place is already quiet, it can be a problem. Some soft drinks in the minibar would be nice as well especially if you are checking in late and do not want to go out again.

It was clean enough, and for what we needed it for it was fine , ie Lingfield races 10 mins away.

NO VIEW FROM WINDOW , TELE LIMETED STATIONS NOT ENOUGH BISCIUTS IN ROOM , BED TO LOW

Couldn't get in at agreed check in time. Had to wait outside 15 mins.

it was ok - the things wrong were small but easily fixed. However overall it was overpriced at £105

it was plaeasant house with friendly owners in a good position

several small things - the TV picture did not fit the TV - the cold water ran very slowly , the basin cleared very slowly. the bed was much to low. I booked breakfast at 9 and although I was told it was 35 minutes after that and then it was only wam and not freshl.y cooked.

We had a lovely overnight stay and would definitely recommend this place to others .

Lovely warm , friendly accommodation . Room was very clean and spacious had everything you needed. Brian could not do enough for you . Breakfast was good and plenty to choose from .
