Location of the cabis was really beautiful and peacefull. There was really nice landscapes and there was allso sheeps at the yard.

We didint find any water for the Sauna, so we couldnt use it. But The Sauna wasnt our priority number one.

We are really enjoyed staying here!

Nice place for staying in the Lyngen Alps. The house is spacious and comfortable with kitchen and bathroom and wonderful view to the mountains. There are a lot places for trekking, mountains, glaciers, lakes. A beautiful large waterfall is located in fifteen minutes walk from the house. It takes fifteen minutes to get to the nearest supermarket by car. We are really enjoyed staying here!

Magical, Peaceful, Unmissable

Upon arrival at Viking Cabins we were warmly greeted by the host. He is one of the calmest and most welcoming people we ever met, he even printed out a list of activities we could do in the area. The property has everything you need and has some beautiful joinery, you feel like you're in a fairytale! We were awestruck by the scenery and the peace that was surrounding us. We saw the Northern Lights 2 out of 3 nights that we were there at the beginning of January. It was a beautiful experience and we're already planning to go back.

We were very happy with the whole of the experience.

Absolutely amazing place to stay - the cabins were perfect and comfortable, the staff very friendly and welcoming and it was the perfect location to view the Northern Lights

Nice stay - everything as advertised

There are four cabins here, all of them are very spacious, nicely decorated and all of them have nice view. We enjoyed the stay and the location - it was a good base for making skitouring trips around. Also the hosts were really nice and helpful in terms of providing information about surrounding mountains and possible ski touring destinations. We have also enjoyed the remote old-school sauna and free coffee :)

The only thing I can think of is that there were two single beds which is not very comfortable for a couple. In general there is not much to write here, the stay was overall really nice and we can recommend the place to everyone. Note - you probably need your own car as it is quite far from nearest town.

Great stay, highly recommend for a self drive trip

Great place. Nice indoor and outdoor decorations. We saw northern lights at the first night just outside of the cabin. The dogsledding and snow mobile experience Haakon recommended are very nice as well!

Good location in the middle of mountains. We saw fantastic northern lights from our terrace! Owner was really nice and helpful.

There was quite a lot of dust in the cabin and kitchenware was not in the best condition.

Friendly staff that appears very helpful.

Quite a few dissappointments. The beds were aweful, that soft you could not lay down pleasantly. The pillows are extremely small. There is a shared toilet with the shower meaning that you cant go to the toilet if someone is showering. Since we are sharing the it with 6 other rooms this can be a nightmare. This place is definitely not worth the price. Have had quite a few stays in Norway now, but price quality this is by far the worst. Also the place said it had a bar/place to eat. However it closes around 18/19

A great place to stay

The cabin was great. You could easily cook your own meals in the kitchen. There was plenty of room and the facilities were clean and nice. The views were amazing and the staff was friendly. The place is also family friendly. We had our four year old daughter with us. She enjoyed the horses in the yard and the kid’s equipment. Also our dog was welcomed which is a big plus.
