Просто ужас, не советую!

Расположение

Хамство персонала, пытались обмануть откровенно и требовали оплатить несуществующие дополнительные комиссии - цена сильно выше, чем на букинге при бронировании, час ждала заселения - очень замерзла. Сам хостел грязный и неухоженный, просто ужас! Двери и стены тонкие как картонки. Антисанитария

The location and comfort were good but the noise in the early morning was completely absurd.

I liked the location of the hotel to touristic points of Antigua. The check in and out were appropriate and easy. I also liked that we had a private bathroom, TV, and convenient furniture. I appreciated the staffs attention to our car and helping us with parking.

I did not appreciate the fact that there is no silence policy as this ruined our stay. We were awoken at around 5am every morning on a vacation where we craved sleep and peace. I'm not sure if the noise comes from the street or people in the establishment but either way the paper thin walls did not help. There should be a warning about the noise on the room description because it is a deciding factor for many people.

Very disappointing for me. I cannot recommend this hostel.

There was nothing that really impressed me. At least there was a hot shower ;)

The bath room was tiny, the mattress very thin, no lockers available, no hostel atmosphere, just a couple of beds, nothing more. They have bible verses written everywhere on the walls but I it didn't feel like heaven. There is a roof terrace with a bar but there was nothing going on.

Very expensive for what you get! Not worth it!

The location was excellent. it had a good rooftop.

The staff were lovely if someone incompetent. When we first got there, they thought we were to be in a certain room. As they could not find the key. we had to wait a half hour and then move our luggage to a lodging that was beside the main hotel. After another 15 min, they found the key and opened our room. Open entering . we discovered that the place was occupied. Upon noticing that there was a computer on the bed, several phone chargers and a couple of knapsacks, I stared that the room was already occupied. Without looking in the staff said no and was equally as surprised as us when he looked in and saw computer and luggage. He then had to call someone and then stared thar I was right and this was not our room. We moved back to the main hotel and for our room . We ended up with all the taxes and price line booking charges ended up paying about 20$ Canadian more than we had expected. The room was okay but small. Even though they knew there were two of us we had to ask for a second towel. We asked for breakfast to be ready for 7:30 am as we had a shuttle picking us up at 8 am. There was no one there to serve us breakfast at 7:30. At 7:50 am they came by to tell us that breakfast was ready. Although we had written down our time of departure and told them twice. they seemed surprised when we told them we had no time to eat the breakfast now. The staff were polite and friendly but they just didn’t seem to know how to run a hotel. The bed was a little hard and the pillows were very big and hard. As a result I did not have a great sleep. Definitely not worth the $167 Canadian we had to pay. It was okay but definitely not worth the money we paid for the place. Would not recommend this place unless you are desperate. clean but way overpriced for what you get!!

felt unsafe

good location

beds to small and u comfortable, the place was not very clean. there are no night rules for guess. four dunks people came into the room at 2:00 am and didn’t stop screaming until 4:00 am.

Was close to everything in Antigua. We didn't sleep there as only hired the room for a shower before a long bus ride.

paid for a private room with private bathroom. The bathroom was being used by another family, and the door to my room would not shut for the entire stay. I was ensured it was safe as there was CCTV, but sleeping in a room with the door open is not comfortable.

Hostel was in a good location and the roof top area had a nice view of the Volcanos.

I was told the late night club next door was a gang bar, not sure if that was true but just stayed aware. Also, had a situation at the airport, luckily the hostel had an English speaking person whom helped to arrange an Uber for me for pick up which was very nice. However, when I arrived no one spoke English making everything difficult, never found the English speaker. The room itself had very old uncomfortable mattresses where the bars dug into your back. Also the room cleaners took my snacks for the bus ride, maybe they thought I had left them but I had not retrieved my bag yet which they set outside the room, I was 5min past check out.

They helped me out, even if my spanish is not the best! The location is great, from the rooftop you can see the volcanos :)

Just dont stay there or expect the worst

Well there is not too much to like about the place. One cant even say , you get what you pay for. This place had its time. Rooftopbar used to dry the bedsheets,neighbouring hostel is psrtying until late and the most upsetting thing is the staff that makes you wanna leave the place before you even arrived. Rooms are not clean nor comfy. Its just a place that was probably running well a few years ago and now its just milking the cow

Great staff and location

The staff was very nice and accommodating. Location is very close to the main park and walking distance from the Arch. Great location walking distance from many of the main attractions.

There is a night club next door. Expect to hear loud music from next door. During covid loud music stop at 11pm .

Just pay extra to stay somewhere decent

not to much, good price.

Dirty sheets both times we stayed. Communicating with the reception staff was difficult so ended up changing the sheets ourselves on the 2nd stay. Not sure why but we were also charged twice … On the day and are card was charged a second time a week or so later.

awful, simply awful. dirty, door in dorm doesn’t close, dirty bathroom, no kitchen, very loud, etc, etc. prepared I think to be a hotel, but does completely not work as a hostel

Pleasant

The cheap price

The employee was always watching at his phone during the check-in and when I was asking questions. The sound of his phone was so loud, you can hear it from the dorm.

Wifi didn't work, property was locked at all times and sometimes the front desk person wasn't there - so sometimes we were stuck inside or outside, next to a loud bar

no lights on the terraza. when I chose the private room it had pictures of the “room” but it wasn’t the same room…

The tiny uncomfortable room spoiled what could have been a nice hotel.

The hotel is in a great location - an easy walk to the center. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful.

The listing photos showed a large bright room with big windows. What we got was a tiny windowless room. The two beds filled the tiny room so there was no floor space to put our suitcases. Our boys had to keep theirs on the bed while ours were in the bathroom doorway. The room was very warm and had no ventilation or windows. The desk clerk found a fan for us when we asked but it was still uncomfortably hot. We put the fan in the doorway as there was no other place for it. The hot water did not work. The clerk checked the breakers but could not fix it. Probably needed an electrician. The cold water did help us cool off.
