The apartment was immaculately clean and generously sized for our group. Loved the big dining room table, where we played lots of board games! The one downside is the location on a busy road with railroad tracks nearby. Trains came through all night, blowing their horns. Bring some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. No yard to speak of for the little one to play in, but there is a great park a few blocks away, so this wasn't much of an issue for us.

Sheryl was the prefect hostess. The property was clean and quiet and close to everything we wanted to do. We went antiquing, shopping in small, local shops in Marblehead, spent a full day at Put-in-Bay, and a day at the pool. We loved the local vibe and the friendly people. The home had everything you could think of. Plenty of cookware, board games, etc. We will definitely stay again!!! ♡

Cleanliness concerns
The property was in a great location for our needs and the host was easy to communicate with. We did have an issue with spiderwebs and bugs throughout the unit and even spiders in one of the beds so I’m not sure it the linens were even changed before our arrival

Wonderful stay close to everything!
The property was very clean, and provided many extras to make the area more enjoyable. There were plenty of towels,, blankets, pillows, etc, and an abundance of board games, books, magazines, and outdoor toys to keep the younger set entertained. There was a lovely outside area with chairs, table, and two grills. The view wasn’t much, as it is sandwiched between two gas stations, but it was surprisingly quiet. Location is VERY close to everything you could possibly want to do on the lake. Overall, we had an amazing stay!
The property had plenty of bed space for 13 people, but everything else was a little tight. There is one shower for 13 people, and although the water from all of the sinks is scalding, the shower is lukewarm at best. The kitchen is very small, with a tiny little stove. The table is really right in the middle of the living room, and seats 8 people. There is a couch, loveseat, and chair for seating in the common area. The beds were laid out a little weird, as 4 double beds share one room, but it was just our family so brothers and sisters shared the space.
Communication with our host was great!! We did not need anything, but she texted several times to make sure we were comfortable. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and we would come back in a heartbeat!!

Sheryl and Bob was the greatest enjoyed my stay as well as my family including the grandkids, we all know that’s not easy keeping them excited and busy. Despite the extreme heat and on off showers it still was an amazing time. Thanks again I’m sure you will here from us again.

This was the perfect property for our whole family, weekend getaway. Owners had excellent communication and made sure we had everything we needed. Well furnished! Very clean. Comfortable beds. Kid friendly. They also were very helpful in planning our first trip to put in bay. We loved it, and would definitely stay again.

Suite Marie's Lake Retreat
The property was spacious enough to accomodate a family BBQ for the 4th of July and close enough to the lake to catch sunsets after dinner. The location was great: close to the convenient store, freeway, and lake. My family really enjoyed the pool with live music and pub food. Sheryl was really accomodating especially when there was a power outage and the internet went out, she was on it immediately so "our two teenage gamers" didn't have a meltdown. Lol. I lo9k forward to vising again sometime. Thanks, Sheryl!

Great spot for a weekend at Cedar Point
Property exceeded our expectations. We had a large group and the dinner table was large enough to accommodate us all (10 people). The kitchen was well equipped for all of our cooking needs and overall the place was spotless. House is about 30 mins away from Cedar Point. There is a gas station with a mini market next door which was very convenient. Sheryl was extremely nice and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and we would high recommend. Thank you Sheryl!

Cozy Cottage houses large group
Very pleased with the size of space to house all our guests. Small shower space, but otherwise very spacious throughout. Bit of an odd location. Very clean and very well kept. Comfy beds and ample linens for showering, beach going. The large kitchen table also fit our group specific needs great! Very pleased and would stay again.

Very nice property, room to sleep a lot. Located close to pool and beach. Very clean and comfy beds. Good communication with owners. Only downside limited parking and one shower for what it sleeps. I would definitely stay here again and love the option to rent multiple units and that they all connect. Great price too.

We booked Suite Marie and The Loft for my best friends bachelorette weekend. Friday night, we stayed at the house for food, games and gifts. The living area had plenty of space for all 12 of us to have a great time! It was right behind the gas station, 3 minutes from the grocery and 5 minutes from the wildlife safari. Saturday, we took a 5 minute drive to Jet Express to spend the day in Put-in-Bay. Cheryl checked in to make sure we had what we needed and recommended places to eat. Overall, great experience! We will rent again if we come back!

This rental is in the middle of everything. We loved that we didn’t have to be in the car long to get to something fun! We even walked to eat once and to the park a couple times! I have been vacationing in the Port Clinton area every summer since 1990. The last few years I have stayed at Suite Maries cottage. Suite Maries is the nicest place we have stayed at so far. The house is very comfortable and clean and well stocked. The owners, Sheryl and Bob, are very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I have already reserved for next year.

We rented the property for 2 nights in June for several family menbers and friends to attend my daughter's graduation from Nursing School. The hourse was spacious, clean, comfortable, well maintained and very charming. We had a wonderful time. I have already recomended the porperty to servral friends.
