Awful hotel for the money but location ideal to walk to your ferry.

Location is ideal

The front desk reception is not professional at all and the cockroach walking around at breakfast was disgusting.

Not really worth visiting unless you have a connection to do with a ferry company

Well positioned to catch the ferries

Our beds we very soft. Road noise early morning is not pleasant. There is a safety light in the bedroom that we could not control and switch off, so a bad night’s sleep overall

Ideal when you take a ferry to the Islands

Hotel Avra is close to the Port of Rafina. Handy when you have to catch a ferry to the islands. They organise a shuttle from an to the airport.

The staff is correct but not very friendly.

אין תמורה למחיר ששולם עבור השהייה

יחסית קרוב לשדה יש חניה

בחוויה שלי, רמת המלון אינה 4 כוכבים, ארוחת הבוקר בסיסית מינוס- קפה רק ממכונה(אם רוצים איכותי יותר או לפי דרישה - רק בתשלום) הזמנו חדר ל3 מבוגרים - החדר שקיבלנו היה קטן ולא מתאים ל3. דלת חדר השירותים והמקלחת הייתה מזכוכית יחסית שקופה !!! רמת האחזקה של חדר האמבטיה הייתה ירודה- מגן המים לדלת המקלחון היה קרוע כך שהמים הציפו את החדר. בקיצור- התמורה למחיר הייתה אכזבה.

Ideal place to stay in advance of a ferry to the islands. Hotel shuttle from the airport was great. Comfy room and the restaurant was lovely.

great location and overall hotel

The staff, location, room (with sea view and balcony), good variety of dining choices close by, complementary airport shuttle (not used but will next time) and the variety of quality food for the buffet breakfast.

An international junior sports club were staying. They boys were loud and hanging off their balconies shouting and swearing at people outside and roaming around the foyer in large groups...it was unpleasant and went on for hours. The staff were informed and were apologetic but the poor behaviour did not stop. At breakfast the boys devoured trays of breakfast food like locusts. The staff arranged to bring some food items to my room which I had patiently waited for over 30 minutes. The reception staff said they would not rebook another junior sports club in the future. With this in mind I will stay again next year.

Great place to stay

Fantastic location in the centre of town, close to the port and local amenities. Paying for a sea view is definitely worth it, as was the 40 Euros to keep the room until leaving at 16.30. Good choice for breakfast, staff very polite and friendly. Free shuttle to/from the airport is a great complimentary service.

Only two coffee capsules in room and when asked for a couple more, was told only two were complimentary and coffee could be purchased from the coffee shop. Not ideal when wanting a couple of drinks on the balcony before showering and dressing to go to breakfast.

חדר קטן, אין קומקום חשמלי, פקידת הקבלה איטית ועשתה טעויות (לא ידעה לקשור בין 2 הזמנות לאותם האורחים).

Desayuno muy contundente y sabroso. Cercania con el terminal de Ferrys,ll hace ideal para oernoctar a la recalada o al zarpe de las naves.

Perfect

When I have a layover at the airport I will always stay at the Avra hotel in Rafina. Met by the shuttle bus at a time that suits me. Includinding a fabulous breakfast. The room is very clean and bed is very comfy.

There is nothing I didnt like about the Avra hotel.

Convenient to the Port at Rafina and the Athens Airport with a terrific restaurant!

This hotel is a great option for those transiting to and from the Athens Airport. It is convenient, well maintained, near the ferry/port. The restaurant is excellent for dinner or breakfast. It is an excellent value and we were very happy with our choice to stay here.

Great Hotel when Catching a Ferry in Rafina, Greece

The hotel is great for catching a ferry in Rafina...steps feom the port. The free shuttle from the airport is nice. The little town of Rafina is fun for a day or two, but access to Athens requires a taxi, so it isn't a home base for an Athens vacation. The rooms are a typical size for most Greek hotels. The beds are comfortable. The sea view is beautiful. The breakfast is very good. The hotel is modern, well-kept, and feels classy.

Nothing about the hotel was disappointing. We would choose the same hotel if access to Rafina port was important.

Exceptional

Very convenient if you are looking for a hotel to stay at overnight between flights or before boarding a ferry at this port, as they offer a free airport shuttle. Nicer than we were expecting for the price. Pretty good restaurant too. Not much in the area so wouldn't recommend staying here for a long period.

The location is great, close to the beach and all the restaurants. Ideal for a last night stay before heading to the airport

The sink in the bedroom is a bit strange. Tea and coffee making facilities would be useful. It would be helpful to have some instructions for the heating/cooling system. Our room was too hot and even though we had turned the heating off, we had to leave the balcony door open and the heater kept beeping all night.

We have found that the Avra Hotel at Rafina is a wonderful location to relax before our onward journey. We always stay here when moving around Greece. The free shuttle to and from the airport is a brilliant service. Friendly efficient staff, spotlessly clean modern rooms, lovely sea views and a wide choice of breakfast. Excellent value for money!

Good room, free airport shuttle but felt taken advantage of.

Nice room and free shuttle to the airport. Breakfast was good. It happened to be cold and very windy and a short walk to other restaurants at the harbor. Where I enjoyed some fresh fish.

Booked a room and then decided to book for additional night. Couldn't do it by phone they insisted I do it online. So I went online and booked for the additional night. Breakfast was supposed to be included as per my original booking. Stayed the first night went to breakfast all good. Stayed the second night went to breakfast and was informed that breakfast wasn't included I had to pay. Front desk informed, yes , that was the case and I had to pay for breakfast for the two of us. I think it was 12 euro each. So even though I paid the same amount for each night I had to pay extra for the breakfast on the second day. I didn't think that was fair and doubt if I stay there again on my next trip in May.
