À 10 minutes de tuktuk des très belles plages.
La piscine est chaude et agréable (grande)
Restaurant est un peu léger.
Nous avons du changer de chambre à cause de l’insécurité pour s’y rendre (3 étages en colimaçon en extérieur à 9 mètres de haut avec un escalier fait de planches en bois). De plus nous avons payé un excédent de 12€ par nuit pour le changement de chambre. De plus le prix des transat est très cher 900 roupies l’heure!

Nach etwa zwei Wochen Sri Lanka kamen wir in diese Unterkunft! Wir müssen sagen, es war definitiv mit Abstand die besten Unterkunft auf unserer Reise! Die Zimmer sind total sauber und schön eingerichtet mit jeweils einem kleinen Balkon oder Vorraum zum chillen. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand mit perfekten Wellen zum Baden. Falls einem die Wellen zu hoch sind, kann man auch im Pool baden, auch direkt am Meer.
Das Städtchen ist zu Fuß in 5 min zu erreichen, da kann man alles mögliche kaufen.
Das Hoteleigene Essen ist zwar im Verhältnis etwas teurer, aber dennoch sehr lecker und man isst halt direkt am Strand!
Besser geht’s nicht, wir haben von drei auf fünf Nächte verlängert!

Nice pool, beautiful location right at the beach.the staff is very friendly. The food in the restaurant is tasty.
The room was not very clean, bedsheets not clean, bedroom neither. There were a lot of cockroaches in the room. The staff was very friendly to offer another room, but we decided to stay just one night.
Room bit dark as well because on the ground floor.

Hôtel d'esprit "cool", très accueillant. Les pieds dans l'eau, sur la plage, transats, hamacs entre les cocotiers, vu sur la mer quand vous êtes dans la piscine. La piscine est propre et très agréable. Nous avons diné sur place le soir les pieds dans le sable au bord de l'eau, avec les petits crabes qui se promènent sur la plage . Rein à dire la cuisine était très bonne. ( attention à bien préciser "no spicy" si vous vous n'aimez pas épicé, car même avec cette demande, c'est limite ..). Petit déjeuner correct. Le matin des pêcheurs partent juste à côté de l’hôtel pour mettre des filets, qu'ils ramènent à bout de bras sur la plage; n'hésitez pas à les aider, une sympathique expérience de pêche traditionnelle.
La plage, dès que vous n'êtes plus face aux hôtels, est relativement "sale", détritus plastiques en tout genre.. Dommage..

Initial the Booking.com booking room was simply ....not fitting the money paid for it and the description on the site. First reaction was to leave and book somewhere else.
The manager, SARANGA, saw our dissapointed faces and immediately proposed us a new deal .
The high rate I evaluate this property is due to Saranga's skills in client satisfaction and not the booking .com site 's room evalution!
I am strongly recommend that Booking .com reevaluate the quality and the prices for the properties that they promote on their site! In my opinion what I booked on booking.com is not worthying the money requested and its not matching the words the room is described on the site!

Frangipani Beach Villa was exceptional. From the moment we arrived and were served an ice cold drink on the beach it felt like a home away from home. Good sized rooms, very clean pool, excellent breakfast, and the perfect location were all topped off by first class from service from the team. Their advise on where to visit and when was spot on and they also helped arranged our onward transport. Thank you Frangipani Beach Villa!

Frühstück reichhaltig und ein wunderschöner Ausblick aufs Meer. Direkt Lage am Strand. Der Strand ist traumhaft und es gibt genügend liederlichen.
Liegt in einer Nebenstraße. 10 min zu Fuß in die Innenstadt. Der Pool ist nicht im Hotel, sondern 100 Meter vom Hotel entfernt, hinter einem Felsen.

Comfortable bed, quiet environment, helpful and kind staff, the food in the restaurant was excellent, we also tried the nearby restaurants but they were not as good as Frangipani, the accommodation and the surroundings were very clean, a nice beach right in front of the accommodation, I can imagine spending a longer time here .

If you like the relentless sound of the pounding Indian this is great spot. We had a great balcony overlooking the ocean. The breakfast was very good sitting in the restaurant which overlooks the ocean.We only had breakfast, but its in a good location with lots of local restaurants nearby who serve great food.
The bed had the worst 2 nights sleep on a very thin, uncomfortable mattress. The bed is in an awkward spot, so it is difficult to get to the bathroom. The aircon wasn't working they had to regas it and the power board wasn't working. Things to check when you have confirmed guests arriving.

The corner of Tangalle that it is located in was full of men hanging out on the streets calling things and staring. A weird vibe. Wouldn’t recommend for female travelers in off season.

Breakfast was so delicious, accommodation is right on the beach, the staff is so kindly and heplfull. Evening dinner was on the beach with calm view. They offer sea food which I can really reccomended. Everything was excellent here. Beach is clean and also there is possibility to swimm. Really nice place with good vibes.

Such a charming place. My budget room was on top, with a beautiful view over the palmtrees and the beach. I could see the sunrise from the window while laying in my bed. 🌅 The location is great! It's literally on the beach. It's close to the town and bus station and they have such a sweet and helpful staff and owner. And a cute dog. The food tasted so good and w a nice mix of different choices. If I had more time in Sri Lanka I would have stayed longer for sure! Thanks for making my stay feeling like home away from home. 🙏🏼🤩

Really amazing hotel right on the beach, really nice atmosphere which is helped by the great staff who are always smiling! The room has everything you need and the Seaview room allows you to fall asleep with the sound of the sea. The breakfast was really tasty with lots of options. We were only due to stay one night here but decided to stay for two because of the beach and the chilled out feeling of the hotel. Thanks to everyone for a great stay!
