We are happy to welcome you to our quiet and peaceful ground floor 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with open plan kitchen / diner and living room, benefiting from a sunny private terrace in an award winning exclusive complex. The apartment has direct access to a beautiful enclosed garden, with two communal pools (one large and one kids pool). The pools are private to the complex and in a mature and maintained garden, making it a haven for sunbathing and swimming.
The apartment is in excellent condition and is freshly painted, is fully furnished and fitted to a very high standard. It sleeps 4 people, the accommodation includes 2 double bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms including bath, showers, bidet, w/c's and sinks. The master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. Both bedrooms have large wardrobes and storage areas. The apartment is fully air conditioned throughout. Towels are supplied.
There is an open plan spacious lounge with lots of seating and a 43 inch 4K smart TV w. The apartment benefits from super-fast broadband and can easily accommodate streaming, uploading and home working (wifi speed: 800mbps download, 410 upload). The apartment also benefits from having two separate work from home spaces, with monitors also provided. The dining area and kitchen are furnished and fitted to a high standard. The electrical appliances include cooker, nespresso machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, juicer, iron and washer/dryer. The kitchen leads directly to the delightful gardens and pools. The apartment is entered through its own small private front sun-trap garden containing a terrace dining table and chairs, ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine or a cool drink and watching the world go by.
The front garden overlooks a charming park with lovely trees which you can walk through to get to the nearby plaza.
Parking is very freely available on street outside the apartment.

A central plaza with supermarket, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, pizzeria, cocktail bars, shops, post office etc. is located a 3-4 minute easy stroll from the apartment. A short stretch through the plaza leads to the blue flag sandy beach. There are six further blue flag beaches along the magnificent coast line. A superb tree lined promenade connects the beaches making it an ideal and safe place for walkers, joggers and cyclists alike. The beach is very much within walking distance but for those who may wish to drive, it is a 5 minute drive with nearby parking. Los Alcazares has a number of excellent restaurants serving local cuisine, with El Patio, located under 5 minutes walk away from the apartment. The town is very walkable but it is also extremely easy to drive everywhere, with ample parking.
The property is 31 minutes drive from Murcia international Airport and 50 minutes from Alicante Airport by motorway.
Within a short walk from the apartment there are bus stops with excellent connections to the local towns, villages and Murcia city which is a 50 minute drive away. There are two excellent 18 hole golf courses located 5 minutes drive from the apartment and La Manga, with its numerous championship courses, is a 25 minute drive.
There is a waterpark located 30 minutes drive away and go karting 5 minutes away.

The property has everything you need for your holiday. The bed mattresses were very comfortable probably the best I’ve had in holiday accommodation. We enjoyed our stay as two sisters in our 50’s and we appreciated the rules in the communal/pool area as this meant it was quiet, relaxing and very clean. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment is situated perfectly for the main strip with an array of restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarket, beach and taxi rank. Literally a 3 minute walk to the main strip and took us around 7 minutes to walk to the beach. The Taxi rank was just the other side of the park which was in front of the apartment. The complex pool area was extremely clean with well kept pretty gardens. The pool area was nice and quiet with lots of space to sunbathe amongst very friendly residents staying there.
The apartment though a little dated from others we have stayed in whilst in Los Alcazares was clean and had literally everything we needed supplied. Plenty of wardrobe space with lots of clothes hangers. Fresh towels, beach towels and linen. The rooms are spacious and was great to have two bathrooms and working air conditioning in every room. We were unable to access the English TV channels but were able to use Netflix for the odd night in.
Eoin, Brenda’s son in law was very helpful and easily contactable via what’s app.
All in all we had a great stay.
Our only criticism, we couldn’t air the apartment due to the mosquitos so maybe some mosquito nets up at the windows would be very helpful to allow some fresh air through the apartment as we noticed some of the other apartments on the complex had these.

Everything as described in the advert great base for the area - all you need is a short walk away - had an issue with hob not working (these things happen from time to time) which we reported in the evening and it was replaced the following day can’t ask for more than that. Would definitely recommend and will probably book again in the future - miss the pool already!

Not what we expected !
This apartment is in an ideal location within a lovely complex. We were very disappointed with the standard of accommodation and particularly the cleanliness. Did a wash of the light coloured clothes in which we had travelled in and they all came out discoloured, I should have perhaps been wary given that the washing machine had a terrible smell. The towels provided also had an awful smell and had to be taken to a relatives house nearby to be washed. There were several other problems including a defective sofa, squeaky beds and a faulty toilet flush. The bed sheets, while obviously laundered were also stained.
Have rented other properties nearby at a similar price in the past and have always been delighted with the standard.

Apartment
Not really quite what we expected. To have to wash up crockery, utensils and pots before use isn't what we expected. The clothes dryer was broken and rusty, the floor inside was dirty, the bathrooms needed attention and cleaning. The sofas were so uncomfortable sitting on them for any period of time was just impossible.
If it were my apartment I'd sack the management company as the place needs a damn good clean up. Sorry to be so blunt, it's a great location and apartment.
The area was great, perfectly placed for beach, eating and getting to other areas, the host was very helpful all the way through the process.

Perfect.
Just returned form a week in the apartment. Could not fault it in any way. Just 2 minutes walk from the bars, restaurants and supermarket. We hired a car, but hardly used it - would just get a taxi in from the airport next time. Next time ? Are we going again ? Oh yes !

An enjoyable stay
We have just returned from an enjoyable week staying at this property.
The apartment was clean and well appointed with two large bedrooms and adjoining bathrooms. The bedrooms had plenty of wardrobe space which was great. The kitchen was small but perfect for our needs with a large fridge and good oven. The apartment faces onto a quiet road but unfortunately only gets the sun until around 11am and, as there is no light from the back of the apartment, it felt a little dark in the afternoon and evening.
The swimming pool was very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The lounge chairs were comfy and we never had trouble finding space around the pool to lay in the sun. The ‘lifeguard’ was a little bizarre though.... a middle aged chap sat all day watching us swim and occasionally having a siesta!
Graeme from GLM was very helpful and responded quickly to my panicked email when I realised we needed paper copies of water park tickets.... he printed these for us and I collected from their office a short walk away.
We were a little disappointed to not have any information on Los Alcazares in the apartment as this would have been super helpful. We had to do a lot of our own research via Google and also by taking a drive to find the location of shops, beach, restaurants etc. Graeme told us some info but after a long journey we forgot a lot of what he said.
Los Alcázares beach is sandy and the sea is warm. There were also lots of bars and restaurants beachfront which were very pleasant. Head towards Los Narejos for a good mini water park in the sea for youngsters. Jet skis, paddle boards and pedalos all available on the beaches which made for great entertainment for our teenager and pre-teen.
Literally 2 minutes walk from the apartment is the square, made up of lots of bars and restaurants. We found the better restaurants towards the bottom of the square, towards the beach as these had a more Spanish feel. However, if you want lively British bars, you won’t be disappointed. We also went to the old town for a more traditional Spanish evening. Highly recommend, if only for a drink amongst the locals.
When we left we ensured the fridge was stocked with bottled water and the bathrooms had toilet rolls. We were surprised this wasn’t part of the ‘package’ as, after a long journey in the heat, cold water is very welcome! Thankfully the supermarket was just a short walk away.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Excellent Property in Fantastic Location
We have stayed in the Los Alcazares area for the last nine Years and consider Brendas property to be Excellent in terms of location. It is within walking distance to the local beach although we did hire a car. There is also easy access to the pool area if thats what you prefer.
The only issue we had was the kettle tripping the fuse the first time we wanted a cup of tea. Graeme replaced it the next Day without any fuss.
The bedrooms and the main living area are air conditioned which was very useful as it was extremely hot.
There are plenty of restaurants also within walking distance. The best of these being Little Sicily (Italian). Best to book though as it is very popular. Heming-way is also very good.
We would not hesitate to stop there again.

The appartment was very nice and clean with a lovely communal garden area, could have done with some more practical house hold goods (toilet tissue ,washing up liquid ) but overall very satisfied.

Great Apartment!!
My husband and I stayed here for 10 days in May. The apartment is more of a house really, spacious,airy,with a back and front door. To the front is a large patio with table,chairs and two big sun loungers. From the back door you are three steps to the beautiful gardens and pools, immaculate, and all very well maintained. The apartment itself has everything you would possibly need, even a shopping trolley which was very handy for trips to the Supermarket Both bedrooms have masses of storage space and two bathrooms was perfect. Location is perfect...timed myself walking from front door to Mercadona Supermarket, at the entrance to The Square with all the restaurants........two minutes!! Brenda, the owner, sent me lots of info on Los Alcazares and Murcia in general. She is very helpful, as is Graeme who looks after the apartment and met us on arrival. All in all a gteat holiday in a great apartment in a lovely resort

Fabulous holiday
This apartment was brilliant, the pool was amazing where my two young grandchildren learned to swim. We often had the pool to ourselves. A few minutes walk from the plaza where all the restaurants are situated. Beautiful beach but beware of jellyfish, my young granddaughter was stung!
The agents for Brenda couldn’t have been more helpful.
Would defiantly recommend and certainly want to revisit.

Well equipped and centrally located
Just back from a week in villanella which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was a pleasure dealing with Brenda and the booking process was easy and quick. Apartment well equipped and pool area lovely. The apartment is very centrally located within a couple of minutes walk of a supermarket and the popular square with loads of restaurants and pubs. All in all a brilliant holiday.

Comfortable apartment close to restaurants and bars
The apartment was pleasantly situated and well equipped. The TV had all the main free UK channels and many others, and there was fast WIFI internet.
It was only a short walk to the plaza where there were several restaurants serving good food at prices that I would say, are cheaper than the equivalent in the UK. And of course, the drinks were excellent value.
The apartment is all you could ask for and Los Alcazares is relaxed and peaceful, or at least it was in April.

Fabulous location
4 gents stayed for a weeks golfing from 19th March 17. Apartment had everything we needed and more. Location was very close to supermarkets and restaurants. A beautiful well equipped apartment in a quiet gated area, close to the beach and the many bars and restaurants serving top quality food at very reasonable prices.
Both the owner and key holders are extremely obliging who can't do enough for you.

Great location, lovely roomy apartment. Everything you need on your doorstep, but not in your face, far enough away to be peaceful, but close enough to food and drink if you want it. The Mar Menor is a pleasant stroll away, a great place to chill for the day on the beach. Spent a week here with some very good friends. Been to the area a number of times over the years, because, it is predominantly Spanish. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I stayed at Brenda's apartment in early June. We have visited Los Alcazares a number of times over the last four years so are becoming familiar with the area. The location of this apartment is arguably the best we have found. As other reviewers have mentioned it is very convenient for shops, restaurants, and beach. The apartment itself on the ground floor is spacious and well laid out with the bonus of a terrace to the front, Throughout the booking process Brenda was helpful and professional as was our airport transfer. Regarding customer service. This was the first time ever that I have been greeted with a personal note wishing us a happy holiday, a (huge) bowl of strawberries, and a bottle of wine ! This is our third return to this exact apartment and I feel I must write a review at this stage! Such a pleasant experience all round. Brenda was most helpful in terms of our very specific needs with regard to our family. This year my husband and I had our two children with us, a lively two year old and ten month old baby. There was a cot and high chair waiting on our arrival and the apartment was immpecably clean as always.
It is situated ideally close to all amenities and a short walk to the beach. I was a bit nervous with two children as we decided not to rent a car but really everything was so close by I needn't have been worried. Each morning I would stroll down to the local bakery with my baby in the pram for freshly baked bread before we would all head out to the beautiful pool which was cleaned daily.
The plaza has a great selection of restaurant and bars, all very child friendly and excellent staff. Our favourite restaurants to visit were Rosalinds & Bentleys. Both serve excellent food, and at very reasonable rates too.
The beach is beautiful and has an ideal walk way which runs the length of the coast - an ideal place for my early morning jog.
Overall, I cannot fault this apartment whatsoever, I just love the ease at which we could all relax and enjoy ourselves. Brenda is excellent in terms of local knowledge and very accommodating. The property manager Graeme is so helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
Thanks again for such a wonderful, relaxing holiday, I would definitely recommend this apartment and area to anyone looking for a break with children. I will be back again next year, please God!

I stayed in this apartment in Los Alcazares at the end of April/ Start of May with my mother and elderly aunt, 22 month old toddler and I was 7 months pregnant at the time. It was my first time visiting Los Alcazares and we’ll definitely be returning again. We rented a car, mostly because I was unsure of how good the weather would be at the end of April and I wanted to be able to do something if we couldn’t go to the beach and because my aunt’s mobility isn’t great. As it turns out we actually hardly used the car at all because the apartment is so centrally located and the weather was great. The apartment is only 5-10 minutes from the airport, which is fantastic after travelling and trying to keep a busy toddler entertained on a plane. The apartment is located across the park from the plaza, only a two minute walk. It’s a ground floor apartment which was also great for us as my aunt finds climbing steps difficult and I didn’t have to carry a stroller up flights of steps. It’s in a small complex with a lovely big swimming pool and gardens which are private and secure. The pool was a bit cold but I think that was more because it was still April rather than anything else. The apartment has two decent sized bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds it also has two bathrooms and an open plan kitchen, living, dining room. A travel cot, high chair and a press with buckets/ spades and beach toys were also all provided for us, as well as cable TV! The apartment was really clean, bright and airy and fully kitted out with everything you might need, we tended to have breakfast and lunch in the apartment but usually ate out for dinner. There is a supermarket across the road in the plaza and also a Lidl and another big supermarket 2 minute’s drive away, be careful though because I think they’re closed on a Sunday. The Plaza which is a pedestrianized street located across a small park from the apartment has restraunts, shops, pubs etc. It is a strip that runs all the way to the beach. The restraunts are really family friendly and serve great food at really good prices, 3 course meals for 15 euro!! The plaza is pedestrianized so it’s great for kids because they can run around safely. The beach is great, really clean with sun chairs and umbrellas that you can rent, there is a promenade that you can walk also the full length of the beach and there are lots of little restaurants and cafes. The apartment more than met our needs, ideally laid out for a family of 4 with teenage son and daughter. Very good security measures and the blackout blinds coupled with air-con in all rooms, meant a good rest was had by all. Situated very close to the local Plaza which had a family friendly community feel, we enjoyed live music long with good value food and drink. The local Supermarket made daily shopping a breeze. We have just enjoyed our second family holiday in this great accomodation. It is like a home from home, very clean, everything you need and so close to beach and all ameneties.Sun loungers and extra towels also supplied. A real plus to this property is the two bathrooms and two terraces, perfect in every way.
The owner Brenda is so helpful at all times and makes sure that you enjoy the whole experience, Graeme is so helpful when there nothing to much trouble.

The owner Brenda was helpful from first contact , nothing to much trouble. Graeme who looks after property was a real asset to the holiday, always at hand and very helpful.
We would recommend this property to anyone who likes a real home from home, all amenities in walking distance. Great pool on complex.
The Plaza is a delight and caters for all tastebuds and prices vary but all reasonable. The Bayside Restaurant is excellent and service is first class. The Boulevard Cafe/Bar is also worth a visit, great to sit and enjoy the sun and music on a few nights over the week.
A real gem and the setting perfect, cannot wait to go back.
