Superb
We stayed here with two small children and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. This is a perfect place if you're looking to avoid crowds and enjoy a safe holiday in covid times. Villa is at a perfect location so in the mornings we explored olive oil, wine routes and truffles and visited many quiet and lovely towns that are just a short drive away (Groznjan, Motovun, Buzet, Hum, Novigrad, Umag etc.). We spent the afternoons enjoying the pool or heading to the beach and relaxing.
The Internet was rather spotty. The hosts were very helpful in trying to resolve the issue.

Exceptional
Wonderful location in the heart of Istrian countryside. Marvelous ancient country home perfectly refurbished, with private pool and barbecue (perfect for outdoor living when you don’t want to drive to the seaside). Markets and facilities are close (in Buje), the property is 15-20 minutes away from whatever you need. In the middle of the wine region: few more minutes away from wineyards and olive oil producers. Family-owned property: all the people in the family were perfect guests; we felt like being welcomed in the family. You also have opportunity to by their fresh products (wine and oil, above all).

Fabulous
Great place, small village outside of Buje. The hosts are nice, owners dad has great olive oil and wine and helped us with preparation for barbecue. The pool is fantastic for kids.
Limited cutlery for six people, limited wine glasses.
