About this house rental

Vacation in downtown Kelowna on the lakefront ! Business licence #4085526. This cottage is located in the cultural district close to beaches, lakefront walks, arena, arts center, casino, brew pubs, shops and fine restaurants. Approximately 2100 sq.ft with two living areas is set up for guests. A large private dock with a boat lift(up to 6000 lbs) is available for your use.
Outdoor furniture and BBQ are on site. It is a beautiful tranquil spot, an oasis in the middle of the Okanagan. Guests remark on the fabulous location of this home.
Bedroom configuration:
two each with queen beds
one with a queen bed/ single bed

plus extra children`s space with a bunk bed off kitchen and queen cabinet bed in one of the living rooms.

Kelowna is an excellent place for water sports and golfing. Also, this is wine country, enjoy a beautiful drive to many wineries and taste some of the best wine. This home is situated in a quiet neighborhood and yet close to where it is all happening ! Do check on the map to verify the location and see how close it is to walk everywhere in the downtown area. There is a park like pathway a few minutes away that follows the lake for miles , a great route for walking or biking. The newly finished rail trail is 2 minutes away.
Just to note, the garage is not available for your use, but there is ample on-site and road parking. Fans are provided in each room for air flow, the two upstairs bedrooms have air conditioning. If you would prefer a 2 bedroom section of the house, please write and ask for details.

For both summer and winter vacations this location works well. Kelowna is well situated between two excellent ski resorts, and of course, the summer holiday conditions are fantastic ! There is even a picturesque outdoor skating rink, which opens in December, very close to us. My place is well priced for its location on the lakefront with access to a private dock and boat lift. We welcome you all to visit us !

Well located, perfect for four adults and two children under five. Easy stairs in and out of the water for the kids, a sandy area for castles and a mooring ball for our small boat. Shady places to sit for most of the day and air conditioning inside. Short walk to a small quiet public beach if you have wee ones that need to walk in and out of the water. Great place and the host was quick to answer any questions.

This was a great place to stay. The house is eclectic and welcoming. It was stocked with everything we needed. The outside area was the highlight with the dock, gas fire and lots of seating choices. The view from the backyard is beautiful. The location is very close to downtown, making it possible to walk to many restaurants, the marina, etc. Delee replied to all requests very promptly and was a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is close to downtown which is great and it’s nice being on the lake. Some of the floors and beds are quite creaky but there are a lot of sleeping options all over the house. Ideal for larger groups!

The outdoor seating has many choices so everyone will find their comfy zone where one can spend most of the day. Having 2 living rooms help family find space for games or reading. Delee was very prompt in dealing with any of our inquiries. Yes, she did warn us about how warm it can be upstairs, but lots of fans. Very enjoyable.

The location was probably the best part of this place - right on the water with our own private dock, a short walk or bike ride to town. But the house itself was excellent as well! Clean, with character and plenty of places to lounge. The paddle boards and bikes were an amazing touch as well. The host, Delee, was accommodating and friendly. Definitely planning on returning next summer!

We had a lovely stay, although compromised by the smoke from the fire. The smoke combined with hot air and the lack of AC made it a bit less enjoyable. However, had there not been any smoke, the house is perfectly confortable without AC: there are plenty of vents and there is the fresh air coming from the lake. One thing to note for those traveling with infants (or even toddlers) or old persons (which was our case), the stairs are very steep and the first step on the first floor slippery. The house being fairly old (but of cleanliness absolute) some of the doors are only 5 foot 10. We were confortable for 5 adults. Would definitely stay there again in less smoky times!

We had a great time, and the location right on the lake was perfect. We had no reason to leave the property! One thing to note is that there is no air conditioning, so it gets hot inside but the breeze usually picks up at night so with the windows open it wasn’t too bad. Delee was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The check in and out process was very easy. We were all sad to leave and hope to come back soon!

Location is awesome!! Weather was beautiful. The house has no air conditioning which made sleeping uncomfortable in the hotter evenings. Advertisement did not communicate there was a renter on site or that the garage was not included in the rental. The boat slip was not repaired but we did get a 5% reduction for this. The water was choppy must days.
