Authentic Italian experience!

It was a wonderful experience. The room was clean and neat, we were showed around and hosts took the best care of us from the very beginning and till we left. When we woke up, there was a table in the garden prepared for us, and we were served the home made breakfast with the delicious coffee. The hosts were really nice and helpful, the house and garden were great and the view from the window was breathtaking! We 100% recommend to stay at Casa Gemma. This will make your experience in Lamezia Terma even more pleasurable and will give you a chance to get into real authentic atmosphere of southern Italy. PS: not even mentioning that the hostess has sent you all the links and locations of the places to visit there, provided with the detailed information regarding public transportation (up to sending us the screenshots of the train we would need to take) and contacted us the next day, when we already left Italy, to ask how was our trip! Additionally, both hosts speak English which is a big advantage. Overall, we truly felt like we were just visiting our relatives and as we’ve spent the night with family, as these people made us feel welcomed and we had the easiest and most comfortable communication.

A quiet location with an amazing panorama of Lamezia Terme from either room

The location is beautiful and the hosts were lovely. A simple breakfast was presented on the terrace each morning at a respectable hour. The hosts have plenty of information to hand about the local area which is very useful

We booked the stay at Casa Gemma noting from the description that it had a pool, but it does not. This was especially disappointing for my children who looked forward to this

Very nice place run by a very friendly host family

Casa Gemma is situated in a very nice location slightly elevated above Nicostra overseeing the whole area up to the sea. The host family is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room in the old mansion is spacious and comfortable. Please note that there is no air-conditioning in the room, hence it might get a bit warm during summer. Food was truly delicious.

When you arrive at night, it is not easy to find the way. Please follow the instructions provided carefully. However once arrived it is worth the effort! :-)

A gem of a place and one of my favourite in Italy - was sad to leave.

What an amazing place and location! The house was very beautiful and in a stunning location overlooking Lamezia. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. I didn’t want to leave.

Air conditioning would have been a bonus however everything else compensated for that.
