Exceptional

Beautiful apartment, very clean, well decorated and most importantly spacious compared to most apartments we stayed at in Italy. Had everything we needed, would definitely recommend!!

The parking was a little hard to find in the evening around the building.

Overall very good, host was great .

location- close to Port and easy to get to station. Shortstroll to city centre!

little noisy at night as above a pub. shutters helped block out noise , maybe difficult for light sleepers. we got to sleep ok, comfortable bed .

Nice, clean, comfortable and light appartment.

Patricia was particularly helpful on arrival as our flight was late and we didn't arrive into La Spezia station much before 23:00. There were no taxis...so Patricia offered to (and did) drive to the station to collect us and luggage. Thank you!

Road was a bit nosiy but good quality windows kept out much of the noise.

Amazing stay in La Spezia - gateway to cinque terre

Well equipped kitchen and whole apartment. Very clean and cozy. Excellent location and amazing contact to host. Host provided guide around city and neighborhood. All mandatory and useful information. What to see and what to eat. Everything was well prepared for tourists.

Might have a little bit more light in bathroom. Otherwise nothing to add

The space. The location. Easy walking to the port for boats to Cinque Terre, easy walk to bars and restaurants easy walk to and from the station.

Very nice week in La Specia

1. Location is excellent: close to the harbour (ferry to Cinque Terre or Portovenere), old town, restaurants, pizzerias, shops etc. 2. The host - Patricia - was very kind and helpful, she gave useful information and had no problem when we arrived late 3. There is a guide (printed notebook) in the apartment with all the information you need: starting from how to use the coffee maker in the partment and ending with how to reach tourist attractions, car park, shops, good restaurants. 4. the apartment is clean and equipped well (note there is no washing mashine but you can use a laundry nearby) 5. there is air conditionning in the living room and in the bedroom, there is a table where you can eat together comfortably; there is Netflix on TV ;) 6. there is a good restaurant/pub downstairs so just a few steps for delicious food and drinks and as a quest of the apartment you can count on a discount there ;)

1. the rooms have windows facing a main street - good new windows help to keep the noise to acceptable level but if you are very sesnitive to noise please take this into consideration 2. 15 -20 minutes walk to free car park and rather difficult to find a (paid) parking place near the appartment. Not a problem for us (we left the car and used trains and ferries mainly) but please be aware.

Very good

The apartment is really close to the harbor. And also very close to nice restaurants, supermarket, shops. The apartment is on the 1st floor, and is clean, with all the things you need for a good stay. Contact with owner was very good, so that even when I was somewhat delayed, it was no problem with getting the key when I arrived.

There can be quite a lot of noise from the restaurant right below the apartment. If you are going out yourself it's no problem, but if you expect to go to bed early it can be noisy until restaurant closes.

Beautiful accomodation on a perfect location close to the ferry to Cinque Terre. Very modern interior and decoration. We loved it! The hostes is super friendly and provided usefull information about the surrounding. It was perfect! Also the airconditioning was ver pleasant.

The apartment was good but noisy due to city centre location just above a pizza restaurant. Very easy to get to boat. Fairly easy to get to train station. Parking challenging as very busy traffic and not enough spaces. Patrizia was very helpful directing us where to go buy we had to drive around in circles trying to get a space several times.

Very good

Apartment was very nice and modern, everything was very clean. Host was helpful and co-operative. In front of house is very noisy street, but windows are soundproof.

Problem was with parking. Free parking is far away - about 2 km from the house. We wanted swimm in the sea and there are no beaches here, only far away. You must travel by car or by bus to the beach, the port is nearby but it is very industial.

Parking was dramatic. There was a lot of traffic and only a few yellow spots. Also we had no hot water for 1 day, so we couldn't shower.

Pleasant stay in La Spezia

The apartment is cosy, close to city center and boats terminal ( if you want to take the boat to Cinque Terre).

Parking can be an issue.

Awesome Communication

I loved they had a guide (book) about the apartment. They took the time to find free parking mapping different parking places. They also mapped out train stations, the ferry and transportation. I loved the food recommendations and the guide to work everything in there apartment.

A sour note to start our stay but no complaints about the accomodations and we loved La Spezia.

Beautiful apartment, would be perfect for a week's stay as all comforts of home were thought of. I loved the modern, restful decor. Great location near the harbour, shopping and restaurants.

My only problem was with getting the keys to the apartment. This was partly our fault, as we had problems with our cell phones and it was therefore impossible to contact the owner during our travel to La Spezia. We said we would arrive at 2pm, however our train was late and walking to the apartment took longer than we thought. We didn't get there until 2:20 and no one was there. Apparently the cleaning lady had to leave at 2pm. We couldn't get a hold of the owner for 2 hours at which time her husband promptly came over to give us the keys. Not being able to get a hold of us, she should have had someone waiting for us or left a note outside. I walked around downtown until finally someone let me use their local phone to contact the owner. We felt as if we lost 1/2 day of only a 2 night stay.
