Für Kurzaufenthalt prima Hostel mit klasse Frühstück.

Die Lage war prima, obwohl auch mit Google Maps schwer zu finden, weil etwas versteckt. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt war alles vorhanden, ich bin auf Empfehlung von anderen Gästen dort gelandet.

Der Nachbarschaft fiel immer in der Nacht ein, dass sie lautstark ihre Mopeds reparieren und kochen müssen.

Das Café am Rande der Welt

Eine Oase der Ruhe und Entspannung. Es ist eine Unterkunft mit traumhaftem Garten, einem Bungalow mit allem, was wir brauchten, leckerem Essen und ganz wunderbaren Menschen! Die Gastgebenden Kim und Micha bereiten eine freundschaftliche Atmosphäre und haben allerhand Tipps parat. Sie organisieren und kümmern sich, nahmen uns mit in die Altstadt und zum Abendessen in kleiner Gesellschaft.

Un bonheur, une petite adresse au calme, loin des grands hotels impersonnels. Parfait pour visiter Hoi An a velo pas loin, Petit dej fabuleux, accueil chaleureux. Joli petit jardin.

Nett, aber 9,7 sind es nicht.

Bester Kaffee und kreativleckerstes Frühstück überhaupt! Geschmackvolle und detailverliebte Einrichtung überall.

An der Kokosgeflecht-Zimmerdecke (oder der Dämmung dahinter?) wird nachts beharrlich an mehreren Stellen gleichzeitig geknabbert….:-( Es gab kein warmes Wasser und es konnte, trotz Hinweis darauf, keine Abhilfe geschaffen werden. Nach 1 Monat Vietnamreise hätten wir uns auf ein deutsches Gespräch gefreut…. hat aber nicht sein sollen.

Tolle Lage, Schöne Unterkunft, Überall tolle Restaurants und nette Leute

Leider sehr viele Stechmücken und das Moskitonetz war löchrig und zu klein. Sehr hellhörig, da überall offen. Dadurch war die erste Nacht der Horror. Die anderen Nächte waren zum Glück etwas ruhiger, aber man muss sich an die Umgebung anpassen

Very tasteful and peaceful B&B, 1 minute walk from the beach. Super friendly and particularly knowledgeable personnel. Trem helped us out in organizing our stay in an optimal way. I highly recommend this pearl, you will not be disappointed!

Superb

The room was well set up, very spacious and exactly like the pictures! There were unique and special touches/items in the room that were carefully thought out which made it beautiful. The colours of the B&B itself as a whole is amazing! I love the look of the place. It's a really great space to have breakfast and hangout or even get some work done! The staff honestly were amazing. Both the owners and employees were very personable, accommodating and always very responsive to my questions. I personally didn't have breakfast, but my friends were very positive about their meals and drinks.Its a close walk to the beach,bars,a couple minimarts and laundry. Honestly, very convenient location! Would definitely come back to stay here again.

Theres only a couple things that I'd suggest. At night, although the lighting is beautiful and the fixture is great, it's not near bright enough for the size of the room. With all the surrounding lights on, it was a very low warm light and it didn't feel light enough at all.An alternating lightbulb would be a great help! Another noticeable issue was the temperament of the water temperature in the shower. It was near impossible to find a comfortable temperature. It was either scolding hot, or cold. So having a shower wasn't comfortable since it mainly had to be cold to avoid burning our skin! The location is extremely close to the beach so it's quite inevitable to get sand into your room. By the end of our stay in three days, we had collected a bit of sand which made things quite messy. A small broom placed in the room would've been helpful to keep the sand at bay since there wasn't any daily check up. All in all, these are minimal issues that can be improved so I'm glad to say it was a very positive experience despite these small issues!

Kim and Micha are one of the best hosts I met during 7 months of traveling around the world. I felt like home as soon as I arrived they have a great energy together and always keen for communication with the guests. the size of the B&B is very falialiar in a little village not far from the busy center. the beach is a 5 min walk. around the house there are many options for food and all you need. I wish I could have stayed longer. Make sure to get breakfast it is unreal, I had a porridge as good as at home :)

The accommodation is in a nice garden, the design is interesting, the nearby beach is very nice. After two nights we had to change the accommodation in the bungalow to a classic room (small bed) because it was terribly hot. The receptionist (Tram) offered us this change, she was the only one who behaved pleasantly. Otherwise we were very disappointed with the approach. When Europeans take care of the property the difference in behavior is striking. The worst motorbike in Vietnam at the highest price, they wanted almost double the normal price for the tickets to Cham Island. We didn't feel like guests at all like everywhere else in Asia. A lesson for us.

owners were fantastic, they have poured a lot of love into the place. The room had a lot of cute design touches. If you are big people, the bed would be a little small. The Happy Bird cafe was excellent! loved it.

Beautiful hostel for grown ups

Very nice place between the beach and the village with a beautiful garden.. the hosts are super friendly and always helping. Good to be a bit away from Hoi An to get some peace .

Happiness found :)

Where do I start?! The Happy Bird is my new happy place! My Mum and I had the most amazing time, we didn’t want to leave. So relaxing and chilled out, the perfect place to stay in An Bang. So glad we chose to stay here instead of in Hoi An. Micha was the perfect host, so friendly, welcoming and helpful. He also makes the best coconut coffee! The gardens and seating areas are so lovely and peaceful, and our bungalow was really cool, the perfect beach bungalow. No air con which we knew was the case, but so not needed, the high ceilings and a fan did the job. Breakfast was sooo good, we sampled pretty much everything on the menu during our stay, it was all super yummy and fresh! The location is perfect, a short stroll down the lane to the beach, down the nice quiet end too. But still super close to the bars and restaurants of An Bang. We followed several of Micha’s recommendations for places to eat, drink, visit, which tailors to use, and so glad we did, they were all amazing! By far our favourite place in Vietnam, can’t wait to be back! Thanks Micha and Kim for the beauty of The Happy Bird

Exceeded my expectations

Everything! The service & ever other guests were all friendly without being over bearing. (It must attract a certain type of person or I was just lucky!) The setting is just lovely and all the extra little touches in the room. I extended my stay so I ended up seeing two rooms and they were both just as comfortable! The area was so much better than staying right in the touristy bit. There's so much choice of lovely restaurants in this area as well as street food places and bars and of course so close to the beach! I can't fault anything. There is a bit of a knack to the shower so if you can't get it right, ASK instead of just accepting it like I done the first 3 days, let's just say Wim Hoff would be proud of me! The pictures do not do the place justice either, but maybe that's good because then you are surprised when you arrive!

I stayed here at the end of my two week trip through Vietnam and it was the best thing I did. It's simply an amazing place.. The room was big and comfortable. And it is incredibly well done and stylish. Wish I could get them to decorate my own home, haha. I actually caught up on my sleep while I was there, one of my days I barely even stepped out as it was so peaceful and relaxing. The garden sitting area is so serene and great to chill. The beach is just a few minutes walk, so many restaurants, spas and grocery stores all in walking distance. It also had so many small banh mi places. Great for a random snack! I missed micha and kim (the owners) as they were away but the place was in more than capable hands of Udjin. He was of great help with everything, which restaurant to go to, , spa to visit, etc I tried to visit as many of their recommendations and all of them were top notch. (Moon restaurant, phuong around the corner. dam vegan, rosies cafe in hoi an old town to name a few) They have bicycles to use if you need them at no extra charge, and also offered to help with bike rentals. unfortunately for me it was raining a bit and I was not able to do some of these activities too much. But then again I got to sleep more To sum it up i would stay there again any day given the opportunity. It simply had such a comfortable, homey, non intrusive vibe to it you can't help but feel relaxed. Thank you, Micha, Kim and Udjin for your place. It was the best way to end my holiday

Good location and Micha is very friendly. He let us use their bikes for free and even use them after check out. Good suggestions of local feeds. Made us delicious Ca Phe Phin.

Tiny suggestion: the bathroom window could do with a curtain or some sort of cover :)

Breakfast was amazing! Micha has hidden talent in cooking and making smoothies. He was very friendly and kind, he offered us a lot of options for sightseeings and activities. Location is great, beach is 1min walk away. Place was very cosy and tidy. You feel like at home. I would definetly come back.
