Exceptional

The apartment was very comfortable, clean and cosy. The kitchen was very well equipped. The owners were incredibly kind and lovely :)

the location was quite disappointing. we didn’t expect it to be on the top of the hill . so it would take us about 20 m

A home away from home...with more sun, beaches and crystal clear water.

The apartment was fab - spacious, fully equipped (hob, cooking essentials, kettle, tv), and clean. We also experienced very good and responsive communication from the hosts about check-in, they couldn't do enough for us! Pokonji dol Beach is only a short walk away but we would recommend walking that little bit further to Strand Mekićevica (slightly less people).

The only minor negative (and we knew this was the case when we booked it) is the location. It sits on top of a hill, which means you either need to pay for a taxi each time you want to return from Hvar town/Pakleni Islands, or get your legs working (not ideal in 30-40 degrees). That said, the apartment is well placed to access Pokonji dol Beach.

Superb:)

Very comfortable and well equipped apartment, good location (close to the beach, 15-20 min from the old town), nice view to Hvar from the west balcony, very kind and helpful host. Thank you again Marija :)

If I should say something, I can say only one, which is not so significant, we missed a bit a door between 2 rooms.

Superb

Host was there to greet me and give instructions on the area, location and any other issues I had. All round lovely stay. It is about 15-20 min walk to the main centre of town, and there are some hills. Bonus is that you are next to the beach.

The apartment was very fresh, clean and had good amenities (good parking for car, airconditioning etc.) The hostess was very kind and helpful.

This particular apartment had slightly restricted sea view.

Amazing sunset!

Marija's place is amazing. You have the most beautiful view to Hvar, where we saw the sunset every night. It is a bit far away from the Old Town, yet you are closer to better beaches, which are only 5 min downhill.

Going from city centre to Marija's place was a 15 min uphill walk. You had other benefits for that (bigger place, better view, better location to the best beaches), yet carrying your luggage until there could be a bit exhausting.

I have a family of 4:- including a 1 year old baby, we went on a travel to Hvar for about 3 days - 2 nights, The day we arrived we were warmly welcomed by our lovely host Mary. Comparing to other apartment hotels we were never given a baby bed / cot but in Villa Fio we were able to access that facility and it was a great help. The rooms were clean. Mary has also given us a lot recommendations about near by beaches, best restaurants nearby and also some pizza delivery service Pamphlets to order from. She has also been helpful and recommending us to places which are kids friendly. The view from the balcony was very beautiful and calming allowing us a look of the sea and the sunset. Lastly A big Thank You to Mary for helping us having a great grill party!

Wonderful stay for a first experience on Hvar

Wonderful apartment with sea views. Marija was a great host and warmly welcomed us. Proximity to probably the nicest beach in Hvar is an advantage.

The walk up the hill wasn't always something we looked forward to. But the views are worth it.

Everything was perfect, you just want to spend your vacation at Marija appartment...:-) The room was super clean, view from balcony was amazing, Marija was always helpful, 10 from 10 without hesitation!

Everything was perfect 🙂

The owner always available and very friendly. She gave us a map where she marked the coolest places on the island - which was great. Room was very clean ! We spend there relly good time 🙂

The apartment is located on a hill. At 30 degrees it's hard to get in there.
