Amazing hosts, beautiful location!

Jan was an excellent, friendly & welcoming host!

I’d been cold all day after hiking. The shower wasn’t super powerful so I felt I didn’t really warm up. Would have loved a more powerful shower or a bath

Luxurious and relaxing couple stay

Spacious rooms, ours had a lovely view of the Loch. Very relaxing and comfortable, ideal for a couple. Lovely renovated guesthouse and hosts. Short walk to town. Great location. Recommended.

Stunning Location with amazing views

The View from our room was fantastic. Really beautiful. The hosts were a perfect mix of friendly without being intrusive. Breakfast was continental with lots of choice and was a great start to the day.

Superb

Lovely room with great views, short walk into town. Very friendly welcome from Jan who was able to provide tips of things to see and where to eat. I loved how each morning she read the weather report to everyone at breakfast and talked to them about their plans for the day. There's nothing better than local knowledge! I believe she is one of the friendliest hosts you will ever meet. Other things I enjoyed was having a soak in the large bathtub at the end of the day, it was so relaxing. Plus the breakfast room is gorgeous and there was a good selection of foods available. This was a great place to stay and I would definitely stay here again if given the chance.

No ironing board or iron was our only issue..our clothes were a bit wrinkly. But there was a large cupboard to hang things in.

Anytime again

The host was very friendly and open. We felt very wecomed and enjoyed our quiet and clean room.

Although the breakfast had a lot to offer it wasn‘t of high quality and a lot packed in plastic.

Exceptional

Large comfortable bed in a spacious room. Owner was very friendly and most helpful in giving us early check in and all day parking the day we rode the Jacobite Steam train. Continental breakfast was excellent.

A very pleasant stay in Fort William

The property haas excellent facilities, very clean and large rooms. The bed is of good size and comfortable. The property has a very pleasant and spacious garden and offers excellent views of the Loch and surrounding mountains. The breakfasts is very good, continental style, with eggs and plenty of toast. A nice touch is the excellent fresh fruit bowls and also warm Croissants. The best thing about this property is the owner Jan. Nothing was too much trouble, gave excellent advice on local facilities and walks, as well as live weather updates for your daily destination. Will definitely stay again.

A lovely property in a beautiful location with an excellent host, thoroughly enjoyed our stay

the room was spacious and comfortable. Loved the Highland cattle bedding. the bed was huge and very comfortable. had two brilliant nights sleep. Wonderful views, an easy walk into town. Jan very friendly and helpful. Left prosecco in the room for my birthday. Plenty of choice for breakfast. croissants were delicious

Everything was perfect! Location convenient to everything. It was the nicest room we have ever stayed while visiting Scotland (and this is our 3rd three week visit!). Large room, perfect view of the water, comfy bed, beautiful bathroom. Jan was a delight. Highly recommend!

Lawriestone was very comfortable..big bedroom..slept well,lovely breakfast continental lots of choice..sets you up for walking, 10 minute walk to town, train station pubs eateries lots to choose from...Great stay you won't go wrong booking here...thanks Jan

The Royal treatment after a long hike

Great location with fabulous views to the front.

beautiful guest house decorated and maintained to a high standard with a very warm welcome from Jan. Lovely continental breakfast with excellent service. We didn’t miss our usual cooked breakfast at all.

No wardrobe in our room.
