Excellent location, very clean, beautiful decor.

Just be aware of the spiral staircase. Not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.

Simone is a fabulous communicator. Couldn't do enough to make us welcome.

We loved everything about our stay at BnB Huguette, great facilities and location. Simone was an exceptional host. She went out of her way to make us welcome, yo maximise and enjoy our stay. We arrived around 10pm, were well communicated with and warmly welcomed. Taxi was arranged for us to get to the port. Cannot recommend this BnB enough.

Very nice and would stay there again

The room was very nice but the bed a little squeaky. We also had to pay cash when checking out as owner does not take cards. Would have been good to know that upfront. Apart form that very nice.

Perfect

The host Simone was really sweet and the place was excellent. With that you dont have to worry about anything. I strongly recommend this place.

Last min request to pay in cash but still the host made it convenient for the payments later on so all is still very good.

Great Experience

The B&B was in an excellent location, just steps away from the main beach boardwalk, where there are restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. It was beautiful. The apartment was clean and the owner was great to deal with. Very kind, friendly and provided assistance to get to our port. Very, very helpful. Quick to respond upon arrival and readily available to answer any questions. The common kitchen area was stocked with drinks, fruit etc. and her breakfast in the morning was delicious and fresh. It was a great experience and would highly recommend it.

Pleasant B&B in.Civitavecchia, convenient for railway and port.

Convenient for the port of Civitavecchia where we were embarking on a cruise the following afternoon. Also very convenient for restaurants and bars on the sea front below. Very pleasant lady hostess. The room was sufficiently spacious and cool and the bathroom was exceptionally well maintained and clean-issimo. The dining area served by our hostess was lovely with amazing wooden tables of great style. There was also a large fridge as bar in the dining area where bottles of juice and drinks could be taken, plus a list of wine bottles, all with sensible prices. Water was free of charge. The double bed was comfortable. The breakfast was sufficient, Italian style, and again well presented and served by our hostess who was exceptionally professional and hospitable. We would recommend this B&B and return again.

The walking distance from the train station was further than expected on a hot day with luggage but this is not the fault of the accommodation, obviously. I didn't sleep well as the blinds on the window were not in operation and there was a simple thin curtain to keep midsummer light out. The lift was not working on our arrival but the technician was in attendance very soon as the building has 24/7 maintenance. Our hostess helped carry our bags up the stairs and we accept this was an unfortunate lift fault which probably doesn't normally occur. Our hostess offered us an orange drink which was most refreshing.

Great location and a fabulous host.

Seemless and great stay at this location. We were in town for one night only prior to our cruise. The host was fantastic. The location was perfect and very close to lots of restaurants. Breakfast was very good.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the host or accommodation; however the location was a little far from the bus station to head to the cruise port. Just make sure you arrange for a transfer prior to staying and you will be fine.

Our stay was a little piece of heaven just prior to embarking on our cruise.

Amazing breakfast prepared fresh by owner Simona. Excellent cappuccinos or whichever coffee you would like. The location was perfect with a lovely view of the ocean and sunsets from our large balcony. The port and town were a short 10 minute walk. So many delightful restaurants so close by. We would recommend letting Simona organize transportation if coming from the airport.

Good, final spot to spend the last day of the journey.

Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Sizable patio looking at the sea was very private and was an unexpected plus. Walk across the street and you are on long seafront walkway with lots of restaurants. Go round the block, you are at the rail station. Very convenient.

The stairs to the room was steep and small and was difficult for me with some balance problems.

close to the cruise we were picking up

it was actually a room in someones apartment. big room but not great as no aircon on when we arrived, expensive transfer from that airport, no hot water on arrival, breakfast was ok, the towels were awful. Lovely lady hosting

Wonderful hosts and stay.

Simone, the proprietor, answered all of our questions about our stay prior to our arrival. She arranged transportation from the airport to the B&B by her friend Pepe who gave us a beautiful tour of the surrounding areas. Each day a beautiful breakfast was prepared for us in the large kitchen/eating area by Simone. Simone and Pepe are amazingly kind, helpful and wonderful people. They made our stay very special.

Simone was an exceptional host! food was delicious in the mornings and she was just over the top helpful. She helped us get to the ship port entry when she did not have to. She made our stay lovely!

Not a true B & B or Value for money

Our host Simona is a lovely woman. I consider this the best thing from our stay.

At 133 euros this is not a value-for-money property or stay. The room is very basic in a residential apartment building. It's an apartment with 2 bedrooms for rent. I don't consider this a Bed and Breakfast. It's misleading. Also I didn't appreciate we could not pay by credit card. Cash was required.

Room with a View

Simona was an exceptional host. She made sure my Mother and I had everything we needed, spoke a bit of English and we used translate app to figure everything else out. The view from the balcony room was breathtaking, breakfast was prepared at the time we wished and it was a fabulous spread. She even takes into consideration any food allergies. Great location in walking distance and next to train station, beautiful water and lots of restaurants and bars.

Beautiful views, great location, kind host

The host was amazing and kind. She made breakfast early for us to catch our train. The breakfast was a classic Italian breakfast (croissants, deli, juices, yogurt). The view and balcony of our room was beautiful.

The group staying in the downstairs bedroom was very loud, and even when they weren't loud, moving about the apartment was loud. The upstairs bedroom that we stayed in had glass doors, so all light from the downstairs came through and any one (if they came upstairs) could see in.

This is a slightly quirky but excellent place to stay. It is on the top floor of a fairly low-rise apartment block on the right just as you enter the town. There is a lift you will be pleased to learn. The signage for the place is not prominent and you can easily miss it. When your sat-nav says your destination is on your right IT IS! But travel on for 50 yards and turn right. There you will find a huge, free car-park. Park up and walk back. The property is on the third floor on the right as you come out of the lift. The hostess is very friendly indeed and takes pride in her property. Our room at the top of a spiral staircase had a lovely large balcony with a sea-view. The air-con was good and the bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and freshly prepared. You can use the fridge in the dining area to chill your own things. The location is excellent. Come out of the apartment block, cross the road, nip down a short side street and in 25 seconds there is the sea, a row of excellent reataurants and once past these a promenade to the town centre (5 minutes on foot or an hour if you go via a few aperol spritz along the way). All-in-all this was very good value for money and would highly recommend it.

Simona is a fantastic host, lots of lovely things for breakfasts and a fridge for drinks should you need them when you return from a hot day in the sun. Our room was fantastic, Aircon made it t very cool and the bed was extremely comfortable. Simona went over and above to make our stay an exceptional one, arranging transportation for both airport/port drop off and taking us for the covid tests we needed for the cruise. Certainly an "over and above" service level. Our stay was memorable and we shall return without hesitation. Thank you

Best Place to Stay in Civitavecchia!

Everything was wonderful! Simona was fantastic and the room and balcony were beautiful. Simona prepared a delicious breakfast and helped us with our taxi in the morning. We will definitely come back if we return to Civitavecchia. Thank you!
