A charming two bedroom apartment with a terrace and a balcony on the canal in an enchanting location overlooking one of the prettiest canals in all of Venice. Peacefully situated right next door to the Church and Convent of the Eremite and opposite one of the most historic and well-known restaurants in the city, ‘Locanda Montin’.
Completely restored to the highest of standards and in exquisite taste throughout, Ca’ Dell' Artista is on the second (top floor) facing the Rio Delle Romite (sometimes known as ‘Rio Dell’ Eremite’ or ‘Canal of the Hermits’ in English) and offers air-conditioning and internet connection'.
Its light flooded living and dining area is decorated in a very fashionable and velvety smooth ‘Venetian Green’ polished plaster finish softly echoing the rippling hues of the tranquil canal below, while the enormous living space is further emphasised by its high ceilings and magnificent exposed beams. The large windows offer dreamy canal views while the dainty front terrace is perfect for taking in the gentle comings and goings on the water and for enjoying that pre-dinner aperitivo before venturing out to one of the many excellent local restaurants.
Or cook up a storm in the modern and well-equipped open-style kitchen leading on to the large, furnished second terrace before retiring to one of the two very relaxing and peaceful bedrooms - one with comfortable and elegant twin beds plus access to the second terrace and the other a richly decorated and rather luxurious double, both with charming views over the beautifully maintained neighbouring gardens. The two bathrooms are equally stylish - one decorated in a chic ‘Tiffany’ blue with bathtub and the other in bolder shades with limestone-tiled modern shower en-suite to the master bedroom.
Less than a minute’s walk to the daily activities of a thriving neighbourhood - take a short stroll along the alleyway opposite, with its little illuminated shrine and enticing air of secrecy, before suddenly arriving onto the Fondamenta Toletta, a charming street of bookshops, bar, gelataria, ATM and the canalside tables of the small, but highly popular, ‘Enoteca Ai Artisti’. Also very close to the fine restaurants of Calle Lunga San Barnaba which leads directly to the delightful Campo San Barnaba and, in turn, onto the Ca’ Rezzonico vaporetto stop and the highly impressive Ca’ Rezzonico Museum of 18th Century Art, directly shouldering the Grand Canal.

Great location on quiet canal. Minutes to walk to everything. Amir, our host, was very helpful at check in and responded to any questions we had. This stay was the best part of our whole Italy trip.
We had some ants in the kitchen which Amir quickly responded to and was very apologetic. Not a big problem.

A beautiful and quiet neighborhood steps from a wonderful bar, cafe, restaurant and gelato. Convenient to two water bus stops to take you to all of the sights. Excellent grocery store nearby and even a wheeled tote in closet! Great communication! Thanks for a great stay!

The location was great and easy to get too! Rosanna met us at our water taxi drop off that Views on Venice set up for us. I recommend having them set up water taxi for pick up. We came via train and it was seamless. She was awesome getting us set up in the apartment. She gave great advice of things to see and do while in Venice! The entire visit was fabulous and the hospitality of View on Venice was great. Annalisa communicated us from time of booking until departure and was huge help navigating the process. Highly recommend!

The property was great! It was clean, had all the modern amenities, beds were comfortable, had a wonderful view of the canal, and the location was quiet, away from the touristy spots, and yet close enough to the main attractions. The only downside to it was the long flight of stairs, as there was no lift.
The staff at the VOV were excellent, friendly, and always communicated promptly and responsive from start to finish of our stay. Marco greeted us from the time we were dropped off at our place and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. Every staff at VOV was patient with us and always accommodated us every time we needed to reserve a water taxi. They even allowed us to leave our luggage after check out while waiting for our evening flight. Overall, we had an amazing stay at this property. Highly recommended!

The property was absolutely stunning!
We fell in love with the charming neighborhood. It was close to the attractions, yet felt hidden. We liked being close to a neighborhood.
What was even more impressive was the absolute and stunning hospitality Views on Venice offered.
Annalisa was a fantastic resource. She was so patient and guided me and all of my preparations. I felt so cared for, and she really helped me set up a great experience.
Our highlight by far was an amazing private tour with an expert guide for Roberta. It was enchanting so much of the true Venetian culture in history we couldn’t have gotten anywhere else.
Enrica was incredible on the ground. She met us at the water and took time explaining things to us. So kind, knowledgeable, patient and responsive.
I highly recommend booking a private water taxi through Views on Venice.
The room is enough to stand on its own as a five star review yet impaired with the concierge service that you sent Venice offers. This was such an incredible stay, and I highly recommend it.

We loved our stay at this apartment in Venice! It was very roomy with great views of canals below. It was close enough to easily walk everywhere, yet quiet and away from the throngs of tourists in Venice. Also, lots of great restaurants were just minutes away. We loved everything about our stay and would definitely stay here next time we’re in Venice!

We were picked up at the vaporetto and accompanied to the most beautiful clean apartment in an amazingly beautiful house with view over a canal.
The super clean apartment with the balcony and access to the small garden is as stunning as it can get.
The kitchen was fully equipped, and basics as oil, coffe, provided.
The communication with the host was super easy - a fantastic experience.
A five star experience - beautiful - amazing service - perfectly located in Venice.

This was our first time in Europe. Ca' Dell'Artista is a gorgeous apartment with beautiful wooden beams. It is quite spacious and the air conditioning worked great in the summer heat! The flat overlooks a canal, with a wonderful restaurant almost directly across the canal.
The hosts and staff were very prompt with replies and extremely helpful. Enrica met us at the boat stop to escort us to the property. She was so accommodating…suggesting restaurants, bars, local market, and shops.
The location is perfect! It is close enough to all the top sites yet so quiet and peaceful on the canal.
We cannot wait to go back to Venice and this property! We hope to stay longer next time.

This apartment was perfect for us. It was spacious and in an area that we were already familiar with. Plus it allowed us the opportunity to explore new places in Venice. It was convenient to several vaporetto stops which we used multiple times a day. We enjoyed it immensely and the staff were most helpful and accommodating as we got to the city later than we had planned. A most enjoyable birthday and experience in my favorite city.

We really enjoyed the apartment which was situated in a lovely building overlooking a small canal. The apartment was spacious and light and well equipped for 4 people. There is a small terrace overlooking the canal which was lovely to sit out and watch the world go by, there is a larger terrace facing the internal gardens. The area is very quiet and there are some lovely local restaurants nearby. The apartment was very easy to get to with the taxi from the airport stopping a 3 min walk away. It was so nice to stay in a quieter area but still close to the main attractions.

We loved the spacious living area and enjoyed being able to relax in comfort at home when not out exploring the beautiful city. Everything was perfect from a to z. We were well looked after and informed. The agency has organized all our requests quickly and correctly. We also felt very comfortable in the beautiful apartment and the location is simply brilliant for discovery tours on foot.

This charming and authentic flat with terrazzo floors and wood beams offers plenty of space and comfort. While not kitted out with luxury fittings, it is very good value for the price. It is in a lovely part of Dorsoduro and we were happy as clams there!

Everything was as described. We were met at the water bus stop near the apartment which was very convenient, so we didn’t need to try to figure out how to get there. Smooth check-in. Wonderful location. We really enjoyed our time.

Property staff met us at nearest Vaporetto stop and led us directly to apartment (a 4 minute walk). Apartment was clean and light-filled. Located on quiet canal with easy walk to Accademia Supermarket on Zattere is a 5 minute walk away, so getting basic food supplies was a breeze. 2 very good restaurants within about 100 yards of property: Casin Nobili and Osteria Ai Artisti. Both are excellent. Ai Artisti is a little more chef-y and Nobili is a little more traditional Venetian, but both had great food. A very memorable stay.

Wonderful stay in Dorsoduro. Convenient to everything in Venice and the other islands. Clean, decently equipped kitchen with a lovely terrace and large dining & living room areas. Felt safe & secure. VoV charges by the apartment nights, not number of people, so that it was quite affordable with 3-4 of us during our 14 week stay. Marta and Annalina and the team were super responsive before we arrived and during our stay.

Our family of five enjoyed our stayed here for 3 nights. It’s a spacious apartment, well-stocked, with comfortable beds and good views of the canal. It was nice to have two patio options, lovely to sip coffee in the morning before it got too hot. We really appreciated the air conditioning given the high temperatures outside. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and very responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Quaint oasis on a picturesque canal!
My husband and I spent a week at Ca' Dell' Artists and loved it! It is a spacious apartment with high ceilings and a nice layout for relaxing. It is quiet and on an especially picturesque canal. The colors of the Venetian plaster are beautiful. The balcony patio is perfect for enjoying a meal. One is only steps away from restaurants, shops, markets, and the vaporetto so it is a convenient location. We highly recommend the concierge services at Views on Venice absolutely excellent in securing porters, water taxis, and booking special outings such as the wonderful sunset cruise by Captain Marco in his bragozzo.
The beds put together as one were not of the same height. The lower bed was uncomfortable and ideally needs replacing.
The kitchen is lacking in serving and cooking utensils (spatula, larger spoons, tongs), otherwise it was fine.

Decor is pleasing to the eye and the windows let in loads of light lay-out is ideal for two couples mattresses are firm. The flat is on a lovely quiet canal. We felt immediately comfortable and had a lovely five-day stay.

From the moment we were met at the water taxi and escorted into the apartment to the minute we left everything was perfect Views on Venic responds quickly to any questions. The apqrtmentvis absolutely beautiful as shown in the pictures It is large and sitting out on the terrace was wonderful. It is well located -we could walk everywhere, watch the gondolas can by from smallbalcony lots of restaurants and shops in the area and a short walk to St. Marks square.

The neighborhood is perfect. Convenient to all major sights, and Vaporetto stops, grocery and fruit and vegetable barge. The air conditioning was excellent during the hot summer days.The level of service provided by VOV was excellent.It would be good to provide a mattress topper for those that find firm Italian mattresses uncomfortable.
