We stayed with our daughter’s family including a 2 year old. We had a great week. Bay beach was guarded but had some flies. We usually took the longer walk to the ocean beach. Property was nice and comfortable.

The house was a perfect size for our group of 10. The house was even bigger in person than the pictures on the listing showed. Daisy was a great host and was very responsive to any questions we had. The check in/out process was seamless. We would stay again. Strongly recommend!

Have previously owned and rented in Brig for many years. This was a last minute rental so selection of properties was very limited. Really appreciated being able to rent and that owner allowed a dog. Overall had a great time. But renters should know: bathrooms were a bit shabby and clogged drain in 1 tub from day 1; living space floors were dirty (black socks on day 1) and counters sticky. Room with the bunks had the private bath so no true “master suite” - I mistakenly assumed when I rented that there was a bathroom in the master. Top bunk had no safety rail - didn’t feel comfortable allowing any child to sleep in it so they slept on couch. 3 of the bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were cramped around a very small hall allowing little privacy. No TVs in bedrooms except for the bunk room (not a problem for us). Steep steps to enter/leave property and very low to the floor platform beds - not good for grandmom or those with knee problems. Again, we were a very close extended family staying so we were able to make do with privacy issues, etc and we did have a good time. But some renters would want to know some of the items I noted above regarding privacy, cleanliness, etc. For a very close extended family that is okay with “no frills”, it’s fine.

Daisy was a great host. She shared all the details we needed for our stay, so the check in process was seamless. We’ll all agreed that the listing was bigger than we thought and we hope to stay there again!

Nice beach house in a quiet neighborhood 5 miles north of AC. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well-stocked. Had plenty of space for our 6 people, could have easily fit 10.

Brigantine Vacation
House was in a good location. Two houses from bay and three blocks from beach. Also, very close to main part of town. Parking is very easy. House had ample space and a large dining table. Daisy was very helpful and responsive.

Successful family vacation
Comfortable space with room for all.
Two houses away from the bay and two blocks away from an Ocean Beach. Lovely sunsets. Daisy was accommodating when we arrived early.

Perfect location, cozy home base
The location can't be beat for beach lovers - ocean swimming 3 blocks away and bay swimming across the street. The house was clean and cozy. We had a larger group and could have used another seat or two in the living room area, but all in all it was a great accommodation with good owner communication.

Great place for a weekend with friends
We had a great experience staying here to ring in the New Year! Lots of sleeping space & 3 full bathrooms made it comfortable for our group of 8. We especially enjoyed the large dining table for meals & games. The check in process was easy & the owner was quick to answer questions & provide helpful information. It is a short walk to the beach, which we enjoyed despite the gloomy winter weather.

Brig Bay Side Stay
Thanks Daisy for the communication and overall experience. Another great family vacation in Brigantine, in the books. The large kitchen table was excellent for the family/kids. And the large room (by the kitchen) was also good for the kids.

Perfect Beach Weekend
Perfect location for our family vacation. Close to everything ! Beautiful beach a few blocks away. Inside the home , lots of space for our entire family to relax and spend quality time together. Loved the “kids room” with bunks and the large kitchen table for dinners together. We would stay here again for the location and price range.

House is L shaped with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on one side and a large bedroom with a master bath and laundry on the other end just off the kitchen. This allows a sense of privacy for all. Home has a very large dining table in an open concept to the kitchen which allows families to eat and enjoy each other's company. We felt very comfortable especially on the front deck while we ate our breakfast and during the evening having a night cap taking in the beautiful settings.

Family Beach Vacation
We had a great time and we didn’t want to leave. The house is very close to the beach and right across from the bay. You can watch the sun rise at the beach and enjoy dinner on the deck watching the sunset. It was amazing. I have never been to Brigantine before but I will be going again and staying if possible here. The owner is very fast at responding to text messages and the woman who takes care of the house is amazing and responds fast as well. Great time! The House feels like home and it is comfortable. Thank you

2nd time staying and we enjoyed it
The location is perfect for us in Brigantine, easy walk to beach, friends/family, bay, shopping, park, ice cream. Neighborhood is very quiet, parking is really easy. We loved the back patio and deck, hosted multi-family cookouts on two nights easily with seating for most everyone. Only downside and owner has no control over this, the property next door was being torn down during our stay. The crew was very nice though, quitting by 6:00pm so we could enjoy the evening on the deck/patio. The foreman even gave us some excellent local caught tuna steaks for our patience with them.
Owner was really easy to work with and allowed our dog who we didn't want to put into a kennel for the week. He really appreciated that. Tropical storm Fay decided to visit us the last day and when we saw a small leak in one of the bedrooms, the owner responded quickly. The leak did not last or impact our stay but it was nice to know the owner was ready to help if needed.
House had plenty of beds and a large bedroom in the back with private bath that could easily sleep a family of 4 or 5. 3 baths plus outdoor shower made it easy to coordinate post beach washup.
A couple of minor negatives... The cable is low def only, so bring your own video entertainment if you want to watch HD TV. House is hardwood floors throughout. This is nice, but after a few days on the beach it starts to accumulate sand which is disconcerting when barefoot. Plan to sweep every other day or so, or bring a couple of throw rugs to place by the doors to accumulate the sand before it gets through the house.
All in all we had a great time that went by way too fast.

Great location.
This house was a great location especially if you have children. The bay beach was right across the street. As for the house the beds were terrible and there were no dressers to put your clothes. There was really only one TV the other one was this big ancient thing. We did have a great week. Guess we’re all just spoiled.

Beach Vacation
Location was great near beach and playground. Layout of house was ideal for our two children and their families. Owner was very prompt in responding to my inquiries. If you like to cook on vacation, I recommend taking baking pans, mixing bowl, and measuring cups and spoons.

Perfect beach home for a family vacation.
We stayed at Daisy's lovely home from August 11th to the 18th and we came from Minnesota. Brigantine is not your big beach family spot if that is what you are looking for. We went to Ocean City for one day to see friends (beach was ridiculously crowded), less than a 30 minute easy drive either down the Parkway or through Margate, Ventnor and Long Point. The beach at Brigantine was clean, big and not very crowded which is just what we wanted. The water and waves were great and the home is a simple four block walk with a public parking lot right before the beach for easy transport of chairs, games, coolers and boogie boards. There are a handful of restaurants in town, The Pirates Den is amazing with outdoor seating. The house itself is a nice set up. The kids room has a bunk bed, another single bed and a double bed with enough floor space to throw a mattress down if needed. It also has a full bathroom so the kids have their own room. The laundry room has really nice washer and dryer. Then in the kitchen there is a huge dining room table that seats ten. If you like cooking/grilling with the family after a long day at the beach and family game night, this place is perfect. There is a front porch with a couple of chairs that was great for morning coffee, and evening cigars. The large back deck has a table and chairs with a stunning clear view of the bay where we watched the sunset with cocktails. Friends came and went the week we were there and it was never crowded. The front end of the house through the living room have two more full bathrooms, then three bedrooms with a king, and two queens. The one room is not very spacious but all you do is sleep in there so not a problem for us. Atlantic City is less than a 10 minute drive to the boardwalk and the steel pier for rides and games in the evening. There is a wonderful miniature golf course in Brigantine that we played three times. Plenty of parks with soccer fields, basketball, and baseball. There is even a golf course on the island that is interesting but still fun. I could go on more, but who would keep reading. It was a great house, beautiful island, warm people and a family trip we will be taking again next year.

Close to AC, bay, and beach
We had a nice short visit to the Brigantine house. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and close to Atlantic City. We would definitely rent again.

Even better the second time!
This year, we were five adults, a 3 year-old and a 1-year old for the week, with visitors throughout our stay.
Again, the layout of the house is perfect, which minimizes noise from babies who wake up early. Loved the new dining room table which comfortably seated us and all of our company. This year we were smart enough to wait until we arrived to go shopping and so many essentials were already there, left by previous visitors. Space is very clean and there's plenty of room in the common areas. We cooked and ate in every meal, which was easy to do in this house.
The location could not be better. This year we discovered the turtles at the bay in the morning who come ashore to lay eggs - my grandson and I were fascinated! - and the bay is only one house away. The lifeguards there would give us a net to catch "fish" (minnows) so the kids could get a closer look.
We took turns going to Atlantic City, which is so close, and enjoyed the two new casinos and some good outlet shopping.
This year we visited Ocean City, New Jersey to put the kids on the rides. While we love the proximity to Brigantine (about a 45-minute ride), and the kids loved the amusements, we couldn't wait to get back to the beach at Brigantine, where it is low-key and so uncrowded, even on July 4.
The beach is just a short walk, as is Shark Park, an amazing playground that is well-maintained. We like to walk places so we enjoyed walking to a great ice cream place and a delicious bagel store.
Knowing the owner is so responsive makes it a more relaxing visit, too.
We painted seashells on the front porch one day and watched beautiful sunsets from the back deck. My grandson keeps talking about what we'll do at "the beach house" next year - couldn't ask for anything better than that!

Wonderful Week Down the Shore
We had a great time together with family. The place was clean with plenty of room. There were enough beds for everyone and 3 bathrooms. Could use a little cosmetic work, but we would definitely stay again. Nice comfy house, even the dog had a great time.

Perfect Beach House for Our Family!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Daisy's house and are hoping to come back! I don't know what the other reviewers were referring to when they called this place "shabby". That was not our experience at all; the home from top to bottom was in good condition and was well maintained. We really loved the new kitchen, two balconies and the fact that it was within walking distance of Shark Park. Highly recommended!

Shabby Shore House
The location of the house was perfect for our purposes but the condition of the house was a disappointment. The kitchen was nice with new appliances and one bedroom was spacious but the other three bedrooms were very small, barely large enough for the bed and maybe a night stand. In one bedroom the mattress was practically on the floor and there was no rod in the closet. The vinyl couch in the living room was dirty and the cushions were split at the seams. A table leg fell off one of the consoles. There were four sets of towels for eight people and a large crack in the porcelain of one of the bathroom sinks. The walls and baseboards were in need of paint. There were nice outside areas but unusable in January! Fortunately we were only there for two nights.

Relaxed atmosphere.
This rental is great on space- four bedrooms and three baths, with the added bonus of being able to bring our small dog. It was clean, but not pristine. The furniture is comfortable but well used and the walls could use painting. However, this made it a more comfortable place for grandkids to play. There is a somewhat obscured distant view of the bay, (so the photo attached to the rental is misleading). Although the beach is close, it requires a car ride. We did, however, really enjoy the Brigantine area with its nature and beaches as well as its small town feel and fun places to eat.

Great locations, spacious but a bit quirkey
We had a nice stay in Brigantine for the week. The owner was easy to work with and very responsive. The location was great for us, 4 blocks from beach, 2 blocks from great park with large playground, 1 house from public bay access which was a nice surprise for kayaking on the bay, 6 blocks from ice cream and other stores. Brigantine is not like southern towns, it is much more laid back and spread out. Parking was never an issue. The house itself was spacious enough, but there were no dressers in bedrooms for clothes. The kitchen appliances were excellent and the dishes/utensils were well stocked although missing a few key items, but we made due very easily. The furniture was a bit dated, but we were there for the beach not to lounge inside. The back patio was large and great for parking our jet skis. I love the back alley way in this part of town. The grill was new and worked great for cooking steaks and veggies. The deck chairs were also a bit dated and creaky, but ok. The view of the bay would have been better if we could cut the neighbors tree down, lol. Overall a nice stay. We are not picky people, so if you are expecting resort like accommodations then you might be disappointed. We would probably rent again now that we know what to expect and what to bring with us next time.

Super Convenient, Spacious & Clean
The lay-out is more spacious than the pictures made it seem, which was a fun surprise. With the largest bedroom (queen size bed + bunk bed + bathroom + laundry room) on one side of the house and the other three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the opposite side of the house, it was perfect for our family. Furnishings were not luxurious but everything was very clean and functional. (And the new Smart TV was really appreciated by all - much larger than the one featured in the photos!) Eating area easily accommodated all of us and our guests very comfortably.
Not only was the lay-out convenient, but location was excellent. The proximity to the cute bay beach (with lifeguards!) was an unexpected bonus. We also easily walked to the ocean every day. We watched the July 4th fireworks in Atlantic City from the front porch!
We are walkers, so we loved being able to go out for ice cream or coffee or Shark Park - a very fun playground for ages 1-6.
Home owner was very accommodating and responded quickly every time we had reached out. We even met two lovely neighbors when we needed to print out a bus ticket after all the stores had closed on July 3.
This was the third year in a row our family had rented at the Jersey Shore and this house was the best by far (hope to come back again!).
