Our house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Three bedrooms have a queen bed, the fourth has two sets of built in bunk beds(sleeps 4). Upper level bathroom is a full tub w/shower, lower level shower only. Den has a queen sofabed. Note that the house actually sleeps 12, but we think 10 is the maximum size and offers flexibility.

Great spot on lake rescue. Beautiful view, very clean and comfortable. Our family had a fantastic time enjoying the boats and the fire place/patio by the lake. Scott is extremely helpful and responsive. Would stay again.

This is an awesome place! Minutes; from Okemo and about 30 minutes from Killington. Spectacular location right on beautiful lake rescue. Rustic yet, modern decor and plenty of room for the whole family. Would be fantastic in the summer as well with a dock and a Lakeside fire pit to enjoy the lake and its spectacular views. Those views can also be enjoyed while eating breakfast on the giant dining room table. Host has vast knowledge about things to do in the area and was extremely responsive to any questions. Highly recommended!

Place and location are amazing. Still a bit too cold to enjoy all the water toys, but we plan to go back in the summer.
Perfect location on the water, near town, skiing, biking and hiking trails. House is clean and fully stocked to cook, eat and/or just hang out. Felt like home!

The house was very nice, much nicer than others I have rented. It was great to go to a place where I needed nothing but my personal belongings and clothes. The kitchen was fully stocked and great to cook in. The house is super close to the mountain. Scott and Jill were extremely helpful and everything went smoothly. Overall it was a great trip!

We had a really fantastic weekend in Vermont. The house was even better than the pics, as cooks we really had everything we needed in the kitchen and we were a quick drive to Jackson Gore side of Okemo without having to deal with parking lines at the main base or driving through town traffic to start the day. Scott and Jill were really helpful in our prestay planning and clearly put a lot of thought and care into this house. Hope to find a week to come back and enjoy the lake in the summer.

We loved our time at “Camp Hoff” and will definitely be back!
The house is as pictured and described; recently renovated and fully stocked with hug quality towels, sheets, kitchen supplies.
Our family of four enjoyed some time there just the four of us and with a group as large as 10 (6adults and 4 kids). The bunk room was a big hit with the kids was the downstairs family room.
Location is great for any season. We skied at Okemo and it’s a quick 5min or so drive to the Jackson Gore base. Beautiful view of Lake Rescue, which we enjoyed from the hot tub and fire pit. We’ve also visited in the fall and got lucky with weather and were able to paddle around the lake.
The owner is quick to respond, flexible and easy to communicate with. His family uses the house often and it’s clear he wants everyone who rents the house to have a great experience.

We had an amazing time at Scott's property. The house is clean and has a great layout for hanging out, cooking, etc.
The outside is even better, with a beautiful fire pit, a dock onto the lake, and plenty of watercraft (kayaks, canoes, pedal boat) to take out on the lake.
Ludlow is right down the road, too. This place has everything :)

The house was VERY nice, lots of water front activities provided, house had everything we needed. Fire pit by the water, awesome deck to hang out on and watch the loons. Host had GREAT communication and was so helpful with everything. ONLY thing I would note is the path to the water was rugged. not normally a problem unless you have any issues on uneven ground. We took a broom and swept pine needles off the path and that helped a lot, but the stairs and railing were challenging could be challenging for elderly folks.

Gorgeous and amazing location
The chalet is just beautiful. Beautifully and tastefully decorated throughout the whole place. Location on the lake makes it feel like a peaceful place at all times, and drive to Okemo was only 7 minutes. Scott was a great host - super responsive and gave tons of details and tips both about the area and regarding skiing. It is a rare find.

Another amazing stay
We have now stayed at the lake house several times and it never disappoints! The house is big enough for our multi family group and the location can’t be beat. The lake is beautiful and there are lots of water craft available. We also enjoyed exploring all the area has to offer with hiking and delicious food options. The kitchen is well equipped and we ate most of our meals at home. We would definitely love to stay at the lake house again on our next Vermont trip!

Perfect Family Vacation
The house is beautiful, comfortable and cozy. It was perfect for five adults and two children. Location is spectacular. We took full advantage of the kayaks, paddle boards and pedalboat. The host, Scott, is the most responsive and accommodating host I have encountered. Everyone agreed we want to return to this bit of paradise.

Another amazing stay
This was our second visit to the lake house, and we were thrilled to be back. Scott and Jill's place is a perfect spot if you are looking for some peaceful relaxation. The setting is UNREAL - you wake up every morning and have a full view of the lake right there. We loved relaxing on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning (or a beer in the afternoon), but on cold or rainy days, having floor to ceiling windows still provided us with serene views and helped to not feel "cooped up." On cooler nights, we dimmed the lights, made a fire in the fireplace, and cozied up on the super comfortable couch. This house is also ideal for some fun too! We kayaked, went on the pedal boat with our little kiddos, played foosball/board games/Cornhole, and did puzzles on rainy days. We also went on some great hikes and runs. Scott and Jill's place is in a perfect location - you feel remote, but are a very short car ride to Okemo and downtown Ludlow, as well as Camp Plymouth (which has a "beach" and a pretty awesome playground for the kids). Scott and Jill's place is also stocked with absolutely everything you need - towels, bedding, kitchen supplies, so makes it super convenient for families. We love this place, and will 100% come back again in the future!

Great family vacation!
Our kids had a wonderful time in the lake while using the paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boat! We enjoyed the property both inside and out! The house is clean, well equipped, and in a perfect location. Scott was extremely accommodating and a pleasure to work with. This place is MAGICAL.
Scott and Jill’s house is RIGHT on the lake. We know that many houses in the area are advertised as “lake houses” because they have views, or partial views, of the lake; this house is really on top of the lake, and that made a huge difference for us. The views are incredible, and pictures really don’t do it justice.
The house itself is laid out perfectly, and is really great for families. The main floor is open-concept, so we were able to all be together while cooking, watching TV, or hanging out on the deck. However, the downstairs has a living space (with another large TV) and three more bedrooms, so we could all have some space as well. The house was renovated recently, and is tastefully decorated while being functional. The kitchen was VERY well stocked with everything one would need. We also loved using the gas grill on the deck. There were also plenty of towels and extra linens for our family of four (and beach towels if you are here in the summer). The deck was much larger than we expected, and the kids were able to play on the deck while the adults enjoyed a drink on the outdoor couch.
There is plenty to do here for everyone in the family. There are kayaks, paddleboards, and a pedal boat (which our three-year old LOVED), a foosball table, corn hole toss (or bags, if you’re from Chicago), and tons of board games. Cell reception/Wi-Fi is great, so you are able to WFH here if need be. Okemo and “downtown” Ludlow are a short drive away. A lot of restaurants in Ludlow are still doing curbside pick-up, and the closest grocery chain (Shaw’s) will deliver to the house via Instacart, making this a super convenient, and beautiful, way to isolate. The owners are extremely accommodating and were super communicative both prior to and during the trip if we had any questions. They gave some great recommendations for restaurants, hikes, and kid-friendly places for us to take our young children to.
This house is really perfect for any season. When the weather was warm, we were able to open all of the many windows and turn on the ceiling fans to get a good breeze going through the house. When it got colder, the house was SO cozy, and we dimmed the lights, lit a fire in the fireplace, and used the super warm blankets while relaxing on the couch. This was definitely one of the best places we have ever stayed, and we would come back in a heartbeat.

Amazing Views and Priceless Peace
This property was more than we hoped for! The views of the lake and mountains were spectacular and provided a constant state of serenity for our group. The open floor plan on second floor and large island and dining table made it easy for our group to chill and relax together. The deck was an awesome spot for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We spent every day on the lake, using the provided paddle boards and kayaks, and enjoyed fires in the fire pit and fireplace. Scott made the trip super easy by providing great options for hikes, restaurants, and shopping, and the advance availability of firewood was much appreciated. We brought our own sheets and towels, just in case, but it was not necessary since the quality of what was in the house was even better than our own! Only suggestion for other renters is bring sneaks since slope from house to dock in backyard is not flip flop or sandal friendly. We loved our Vermont lake vacation and hope to return in 2021!

Best thing to happen in 2020!
We have traveled all over and this was one of our favorite vacations! Scott was an incredible host from pre booking through departure. So responsive and helped us even plan parts of our trip (best restaurants, where to hike etc...) the house is immaculate. The kitchen fully stocked. And the layout is perfect for families or friends. The view in the pictures doesn’t do it justice. The lake is spectacular and the house comes with everything you would need to enjoy it! Multiple kayaks, multiple paddle boards and a paddle boat. Our entire family enjoyed the lake throughout the day, every day. The house is perfectly located- within minutes to Okemo (where we hiked), close to town, and on a stunning lake. My only regret is that we didn’t book it for longer. Can’t wait to come back to Ski. We will definitely be renting this house again. We LOVED it!!!!

The perfect getaway
This was the perfect place to get away and forget about everything going on in the rest of the world. The house had everything we needed and the lake was amazing. We loved the many paddle boards and kayaks which allowed everyone in our group to get out on the water together! We had such a great that we can’t wait to come back!!!

Vermont Lake Magic
Our family has rented a lot of cabins over the years and we have a new favorite. Plenty of room for the seven of 7, with three beds going unused. There are so many “areas” for people to be (living room, den, deck, dock, fire pit, their own bedrooms) that no one even felt on top of each other. Actually, since it is a wrap-around deck, there was another private area. The cabin obviously was recently renovated, and to a high and thoughtful standard. It may sound silly, but the inclusion of dimmer lights allowed us to set moods, which greatly enhanced the ambiance. There’s nothing quite like a fireplace going in a dim (not dark) room. The fact that the cabin sits on a little promontory enhances views and privacy. The inclusion of kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and a pedalboat was great. We usually rent kayaks/canoes when we travel. Having them there (and in good condition) is both convenient and a savings. Obviously the lake is the draw, and a pair of bald eagles hunt from the small island just across from the cabin. The sound of loons in the morning as the mist burns off is wonderful. If you’re up early enough, take a kayak out while the mist is still in the lake. Magical. The host is super on top of things and responsive. The kitchen is very-well equipped, with the host telling us he often adds stuff based on guest feedback. First class rental.

Perfect Vermont Escape
Thoroughly enjoyed a late fall weekend in Vermont. Easy to access biking, hiking and of course paddling on the lake from this location, We also explored some of the local farms offering apple picking and great treats. I can't wait to come back and check this out during ski season and then again in spring for road and mountain biking. Scott & Jill were very helpful and on the spot with helpful information and answers to any questions.

Lake Rescue is beautiful and peaceful. The photos are realistic...exactly what this beautiful modern sparkling clean lakefront cottage looks like! The description is totally accurate... the owners have taken great care to make your stay very comfortable—Well stocked kitchen, high quality linens and towels, comfortable quality mattresses. Plus as an added bonus...boats, kayaks and paddle boards included. The welcome packet contained all kinds of great info about the area. Scott was very responsive with answers to questions. Five stars for sure!!!

I loved staying at this property. The place is perfect for families to share. It is right on Lake Rescue so great for winter months of skiing as well as Summer get aways. The house was completely renovated with stellar attention to detail. Fully stocked kitchen and eating area and large wood fireplace. Foosball table downstairs and beautiful view of the lake. Short drive to Okemo was also convenient! It was all perfect. Thank you for the hospitality Scott!

Amazing Weekend
We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Scott & Jill’s home. The renovation and furnishings were well thought out. Beautiful Lake Rescue was right outside our door, with plenty of space for everyone around the fire and for kids to hang out downstairs. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to prepare a thanksgiving dinner for 10 with plenty of room at the dining table for everyone. There were 10 people in our party and every one of us completely enjoyed our stay here. We were fortunate to have great snow this early in the season and found getting to & from Okemo a short drive away to be easy. I can’t wait to come back here in the summer and explore the lake!

Quaint and FUN Lake Vacation!
We loved spending a week of our summer in this home on Lake Rescue! We fit 2 large families very comfortably. The new renovations perfectly merged fresh and modern with old and quaint. The house was very clean and easy to live in. We enjoyed cooking (and even baking) in the kitchen, all while being able to hear the laughter of our kids in the lake. We had large family dinners around the table and spent lots of time on the back deck and lakeside by the fire pit.
The lake itself was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip! The house was stocked with fun water toys...kayaks, a peddle boat and multiple SUP boards. We spent hours on the water exploring this very approachable lake and the kids loved the little island in the middle complete with a tree swing! We rented a small boat for water skiing and tubing. Hours of fun!
Super close to town, groceries etc. Owner was very responsive and helpful. If we spend another summer week in VT, we would definitely consider staying here again.

Idyllic, relaxing home with a view!
This home on the lake was just what our family needed for a fall getaway. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We had 6 adults & 4 children, yet never felt crowded with living areas for us to separate the kids from the parents! We enjoyed fires and the great kitchen. The owner was very responsive to our needs. The home is completely updated with modern appliances and comfortable furniture. I would highly recommend this beautiful home if you’re looking for a place to relax or ski. Excellent WiFi; very clean; and the fireplace was a real hit with our family during our game nights. I am looking forward to returning in the summer to experience the lake to it’s fullest.

Autumn vacation
The lake house is just as beautiful as the pictures shown. You can't beat the view of the gorgeous lake. There was plenty of room for a family vacation and the owner was very easy to communicate with. We had a lovely time.
