We had a great weekend at Sarah's cottage, it was very well decorated and maintained with a lovely seaside theme. It was also very convenient for access to Christchurch centre, shops, restaurants, bars etc but also very near lots of fabulous places to visit. Would recommend the property to couples or small families.

We have stayed here multiple times before. It is a beautiful cottage and ticks every box in terms of cleanliness, comfort and location. It is always well maintained and the standard has never waivered. We find new places to explore with every visit but still enjoy the immaculate local beaches and also just relaxing at the cottage (inside and outside). The area seems to have a very favourable microclimate! Would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone.

We have stayed at this property many times and it just seems to keep getting better. We know the property will be spotless when we arrive but certainly not clinical. It is beautifully decorated with all the comforts you would expect at home. The owner is very thoughtful regarding guests' needs and often updates things to keep it fresh and comfortable. There is always a welcoming feel when you first arrive with treats in the fridge. We love the area and having such great accommodation to rely upon is an added bonus. We are just as happy either out exploring or relaxing at the cottage. The private sunny courtyard and luxury garden furniture are the cherry on the cake. A wonderful place to stay.

Perfect UK getaway-whatever the weather
Our third stay here. Immaculate property, constantly refreshed and high standard maintained. A real home from home. Excellent garden facilities for those 'stay at home' relaxing days but everything within walking distance if needed (bars, cafes, supermarkets) and also beach and coastal walks. Always a new place to visit. 10/10

Fabulous
This is our second stay at this wonderful cottage and we will be back.
The cottage is close to the many restaurants (you will be spoilt for choice) and is also close to the river.
Sarah the owner couldn't be more helpful and ensures that everything is spotlessly clean.
I absolutely love staying here. To sum up I would say it's the perfect cottage in a perfect location.

Beautiful cottage and great location
The listing of the cottage was accurate as is was as beautiful and clean on arrival as the photos showed. The host was lovely and so helpful.
The location is perfect for visiting the river which is a 3 minute walk, along with the town which is also in your door step.
Bars abs restaurants again are so close. The cottage although being close to all amenities was very peaceful and cosy.
We will definitely visit again.

Perfect
The cottage is beautiful and so stylish. It has everything you could need, and the courtyard garden is so quaint, even though we didnt have suitable weather to make use of it. Location superb but also very quiet and peaceful. Fantastic and friendly communication from the owner. And scones on arrival! We will be back. Literally no negatives! Thank you!

A wonderful holiday
We love this area and the accommodation is perfectly placed for days out; there are so many interesting places to visit on the South coast. An ideal central location to choose a different bar/restaurant every evening. The cottage is immaculate, beautifully decorated and well maintained. We would highly recommend a stay!

The perfect holiday
My husband and I had the most relaxing week at this beautiful cottage in Christchurch. The location would be hard to match in terms of being within 5 minutes walking distance (sometimes less!) to shops, bars, an independent cinema and restaurants. However, there was absolutely no problem with noise in the evenings and such a pleasant place to visit historical sites, beaches, the New Forest, go for boat trips and beautiful walks along the quay. We also thoroughly enjoyed time sitting in the secluded courtyard garden and the only 'complaint' would be lack of shade as it was a real sun-trap! We have booked again (which was not planned) and we would have no hesitation in recommending to others. The access arrangements were well organised and efficient and the cottage is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. A real gem. Sarah, the owner, balances being an attentive host without being intrusive. Parking can be at the local paid car parks (easily done with your phone - no need to go backwards and forwards to pay and very cheap overnight rates) or with a little planning and a 2 minute walk there are 'free of charge' options. Overall, a fantastic holiday :-)

Perfect cottage for a short break in Christchurch
The cottage is beautifully decorated and was spotlessly clean. It is in a fabulous location with shops, bars and restaurants a minutes walk away. Sarah is a very friendly and helpful host. If you are looking for a charming, character cottage in Christchurch you will not find better than this one.

Perfect little properly. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly finished. Lovely taste! Ideal location. The host is really helpful, super responsive and seems very nice when you chat. We came with our toddler daughter. She loved having the front and back gardens. Thanks for a super trip!

Enchanting Cottage
This beautiful cottage is set in a perfect location in Christchurch for long walks, great restaurants, shopping but also privacy.
The cottage itself was immaculate and Sarah’s lovely little touches made it even more perfect. She was also a pleasure to correspond with.
Highly recommend everything about it. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Beautiful cottage in a perfect central location
We couldn’t have been more pleased with this lovely little cottage which was the perfect spot for our family get away. The cottage is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with touches of luxury which make for a very comfy and enjoyable stay. Located on a quaint side street just moments from the high street we didn’t have to go far to find supplies, lots of lovely coffee shops and restaurants. We also took advantage of the local markets, splash park and beautiful riverside walks. It’s only a few minutes walk to the quay where you can take a very enjoyable ferry ride to nearby mudeford sandbank. There’s really no need to drive anywhere but if you wanted to this is the perfect base for days out in Bournemouth, the rest of Dorset and the New Forest. We’ll certainly be back!

Spotlessly clean and comfortable in a great location but disappointing for many reasons.
This is obviously a well loved family holiday home in a great location for exploring Christchurch and the surrounding area. It is small, recently decorated, immaculately clean and comfortable; just a short walk away from shops, pubs, restaurants, takeaways, the quay and the priory.
We were very fortunate to be able to book this cottage with a Sunday changeover, which better suited our travel plans. The booking process was simple and messages were answered quickly. On arrival, we were greeted with fresh flowers, milk and cream in the fridge, scones and jam. The mobile phone signal (O2) was not brilliant, but the WiFi worked well.
We have stayed in many holiday cottages over the last 20 years and I must admit this was the most expensive and rather disappointing for the following reasons:
Despite previous reviews, the kitchen was NOT well equipped. Yes, it had a large fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, new oven, electric hob and toaster, BUT if you actually want to prepare food yourself rather than just re-heat ready meals then I recommend you take the following with you:
Sharp knife and/or Bread knife
Wooden spoon and/or table spoon
Vegetable peeler
Small sauce pans (there was only 1 large saucepan, I large skillet and 3 frying pans)
Chopping board (although there is a wooden bread board)
The extractor fan didn't work.
In the main bedroom, the bed, although comfortable, was so large that there was only room for 1 bedside table and in the single room the rug slipped dangerously on the painted floor. Despite large fitted wardrobes in both rooms, there were only 4 coat hangers, in total - not nearly enough for a week's clothes for 2 people!
The carpark was not 'adjacent' as advised, but it was only a very short walk away. At £6 per day plus £2 overnight (24/7 charging) this mounts up over a week. I put the Ringo app on my phone, (cash only in the machine!) but still managed to miss a payment and get a fine (it wouldn't let me just pay for the week like I wanted to!) Roadside free parking was almost non-existent and always full. There may have been a cheaper carpark further away. We didn't use the car most days anyway.
We were advised to take our rubbish to the bin in the car park, which I felt very uncomfortable doing!
The DVD didn't work.
The hot water could be switched on only when we wanted it - it took half an hour to heat up.
Overall, despite the minor disappointments, we had a good holiday; enjoying exploring the area

Lovely short stay
what a lovely time we had at the cottage. It was so cosy and well looked after. The beds were lovely and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The jam and scones on arrival were delicious and a lovely touch.
We enjoyed trips to lymington and mudeford on the ferry and our one year old loved the splash park at the end of the road as we were pretty lucky with the weather!
Hopefully we will come back soon possibly with out the baby to enjoy the restaurants and bars in Christchurch more. Sarah was always on hand if we had any queries and was very quick with all responses during the booking process

Well loved little cottage
The house is a two-up two-down little workers cottage which has been well looked after by its owners. It was very clean and tidy. We found it to be well suited to our needs in terms of good cooking facilities, a nice lounge area and a good sized main bedroom.
We found Sarah to be a great hostess, she was very kind with the arrangements in advance and we did find that the transaction went smoothly. We had had a negative experience through another renting site over the summer so were extremely cautious about our next step, but like I say it all really worked out well with Sarah.
The cottage is on two turnings just off the high street which gives it an amazing location. It means that you can get something on the high street and take it home, and go back out again! If you have a reason to be in the centre, this is a great place to stay.
Some practical points: The staircase has no bannister which is a consideration for small children. You cannot park on the street outside at all. You can load briefly but that is it, and it is a one way system. Parking is restricted nearby between approx 10-5 so you need to take the car to a car park about 5 minutes walk away (the streets where you can park for free get very busy, you might get lucky). The cottage has no wifi and Christchurch is known for being rubbish for phone and 3G reception, so you may well end up feeling a bit cut off. The library on the high street has free wifi when you need, and is actually a nice place to hang out (especially for kids)!
If you need a little hideaway in Christchurch I do recommend it.

Enchanting
When we arrived at the beautiful cottage, located very conveniently to enjoy all of Christchurch's shops, restaurants and harbour, we were greeted by the kind and thoughtful owner. She made us very welcome and we enjoyed our stay in the tastefully presented accommodation. We will be back! Thank you. James and Sarah
