A comfortable enchanting historical house.

Excellent breakfast. The property had an excellent history. Only a short drive to centre of Bayeux.

Excellent base to visit normandy beaches/musuems and 10-15 min walk into bayeaux.

excellent location and impressive building, with spacious period room. Lovely continental breakfast of fruit, cereal, croissants, tea and coffee.. Very friendly and welcoming host.

A hidden gem

A beautiful location with a picturesque garden, a comfortable room with interesting books to read, and a WWII mini museum in the barn - a great package! Very friendly host with useful tips and the best place to stay at while visiting Bayeux.

what a lovely building we loved the history, the setting and we could just walk to the centre of town to try a variety of restaurants. Our host Christine was lovely.

Nice property, good location.

It's a delightful old Manor house which the owners are sensitively making use of by protecting all the historic features. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast was excellent. A big plus for us was the safe private parking.

Good spot on the edge of Bayeux within walking distance of the town centre.

House has retained its old world charm. Our host was very friendly and helpful

Other noisy guests who seemed to be moving furniture above our heads in the small hours! They were inconsiderate, but old floor boards etc didn’t help muffle the noise.

Beautiful historic property with a charming host. Continental breakfast was great. Location is a short country walk from the centre of Bayeux. Great location, we had a lovely stay.

Shower room was very compact but had everything in it.

The buildings and setting are beautiful and the rooms are comfortable.

The breakfast was quite basic. Some cold meats and slices of cheese would've been nice and fresh baguette.

Old Country Manor a short walk from Cathedral

A country manor a little walk out of doWntown Bayeux, run by an Anglo-French couple, with old stone buildings surrounding a courtyard, an orchard with fresh fruits you can pick from the branches, at night you can sit in the garden with little lanterns, at breakfast you eat copiously in a dining room at a long table, rooms with sculpted wood furniture

Thoroughly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to re-book.

Breakfast was excellent, lots on offer, location was fantastic for us as we travelled to visitor sites around the whole of the north coast and beyond, good central location; Bayeux is a 20min walk which was great to stretch the legs, the garden is full of birds singing away - just excellent. Very interesting history of the building in centuries gone by and also in fairly recent years. Excellent hosts.

Great stay at Bayeoux at this charming B & B.

Very good bed and breakfast in charming little town. The building is nicely renovated. The decor is very cosy and sympathetic to the age of the building. Walking distance to the old town center. Nice firm bed, we slept like babies. The breakfast was lovely. The icing on the cake is the owner Christine, she makes you feel very welcome and it's like talking to an old friend.

The internet could have been a little faster 😊

Exceptional location and excellent host and stay.

Amazing stay at this lovely manor. Highly recommend it for a stay to visit Bayeux and the surrounding areas including DDAY sites along Normandy. Christine is a superb host and the property is very charming and a very relaxed place to enjoy downtime. A pleasant 10-15 minute walk into the town of Bayeux ( it doesn't feel that long).

Super property and great hosts. lots to see and do in the area. Great breakfast, super rooms and the Colonels map room and war memorabilia make this a great place to stay. Thoroughly recommend...! Thank you Christine and Christophe..

Beautiful place very comfortable and friendlly host , most enjoyable with an interesting history.

Lovely breakfast. Lovely quaint place, good ambience and atmospheric. Rooms good and bed, but pillows not very comfy. Lovely host and beautiful place interesting history and good proximity to Bayeax.

Difficulty finding the place due to satellite connection and one way system.

The whole place had a lovely feeling, thoroughly enjoyed with lots to do on the doorstep.

The history, the antiquity, the ambience, the setting all beautiful. Good breakfast in a lovely dining room and lovely hostess.

Difficult to locate on arrival due to one way system in place and lack of satellite connection.

The breakfast was the usual French bnb food, and same every morning. Really wished for an egg dish and meat. More protein and less bread.

A delighful place to stay exceeded our expectations

Wonderful place to stay we received such a warm welcome from Christine we were made to fell like friends returning to stay. The rooms were immaculately clean tastefully decorated. The Manoir breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. We enjoyed viewing the chapel in the grounds and the amazing preserved map room used to plot the D-Day landings a privilege to be able to view the room and see such interesting items in the room well worth a visit. Good location approx 20 min walk into town.

Perfect to explore the city and the historical places around and a friendly host. Parking. Very good price/quality ratio.

Everything was great lovely accommodation. Room was super, smell was lovely+fresh. Was made very welcome felt like Lord+Lady of the Manor at breakfast table as we were alone was a great feeling wished we had planned to stay another night was excellent

Very special stay in historical house

The house is historical monument and have long history and special spirit. The room is very big, clean and comfortable. The owner is very kind and speaking fluently English. The communication during booking process was very easy. The property is situated in walking distance or few minutes of driving from the city center. The breakfast was good and served to the room (because of COVID restrictions)
