Gerne hätten wir verlängert und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Die Lage mit wunderschönem Blick auf Faro und in der Ferne die Küste, absolute Ruhe da sehr abgelegen, komplette Anlage macht einen sehr geschmackvollen und gepflegten Eindruck, die einzelnen Häuschen sind mit gutem Abstand verteilt, Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit und nett (Merci Laurent!).

Die letzten 300 m Zufahrt zur Anlage sind Feldweg mit Schlaglöchern, Küche leider ohne Spülmaschine ;-)

La gentillesse et le professionnalisme de l’hôte L’emplacement de la villa La piscine

Ça reste un détail mais certains ustensiles de cuisines sont anciens Le jacuzzi n’était plus présent mais toujours indiqué dans l’annonce au moment de la réservation.

A blissful and relaxing holiday

The property is located in a remote spot high on a hill overlooking the Golden Triangle with magnificent views. It is wonderfully quiet and guests are left to discover their own contentment with access to a swimming pool, sun beds and shaded areas. There is an honesty bar and the host (Laurent) is on hand, via WhatsApp, to help with any issues (there were none} as well as recommendations for beaches, restaurants etc. All in all, we had a blissful time.

One minor point for improvement - could have done with another mirror in the property near an electric socket so my wife could do her hair and makeup.

Poor

It's a beautiful new space on top of a cliff. We were visiting in December, and literally we could have been living in the clouds. The apartment was spacious and the owner was very hospitable and friendly and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The place even has a small kitchenette and a balcony.

It's very very far from the town, on top of a hill. Although we booked the place (and paid for it) we didn't end up staying there since it was so far from the town. There is literally nothing to do around and no restaurants nearby. Not recommended if you don't have a car to go around (which we didn't). Also this place is in Loulé, and we wanted to stay in Faro (which we later learnt were two different places quite a distance apart).

Awesome, from every angle. Would like to go there again.

Awesome value for the money!! It was like renting a great small villa! The host, Laurent, was awesome in every respect!

The road to Monte Borboleta was rugged and narrow, but worth the trip!

Hidden gem with an amazing view

+ Amazing hilltop view over the Algarve region and ocean + Really cozy and well-design rooms + Garden, pool, beautiful white buildings + Laurent is very welcoming and friendly host + Everything is clean and well taken care of + The property is quite spacious and there are not too many people, so you can take a good rest from noisy and busy cities.

+ The internet connection might not be good enough for remote work (e.g. calls), but it's rather a minor issue. It'd be very hard to work there anyway, you just need to relax and enjoy the view, wine and location :)

Beautiful accommodation with a very caring host.

We are a family with two adult children and loved staying away from the crowded tourist area. Monte Borboleta is exactly that. Stunning villas in a very relaxing set up. We enjoyed staying in, late breakfast and lazy day at the pool with a million dollar view.

Wonderful restful retreat in a beautiful place

everything - the accommodation was beautiful, thoughtfully set up, restful and quiet. The attention to detail is perfect. The host Laurent is just the best, always happy to help to make your stay the best it can be. The pool area is shared by the four properties on site and is absolutely perfect. Can’t wait for our next stay.

Everything was great. Laurent is a very nice and helpful host, he suggested us a lot of amazing spots, restaurants and places to go. We really enjoyed our stay, the property is very nice and has everything you might need, a lot of space, the neighborhood is calm. The pool is great and with a breath taking view. We definitely recommend this place.

Amazing location, so peaceful and relaxing. The pool was lovely and the hot tub an added bonus for when the weather was overcast. The breakfast was delightful, would highly recommend it. We didn't rent a car but found Uber to be cheap and easy to get around. The host Laurent was very friendly and gave us a bunch of tips for places to go and restaurants to visit. Felt very safe in terms of COVID precautions - everything is spotless and there are hand sanitizer stations dotted all around. Would definitely come back !

Exceptional

Beautiful setting! Very clean and organised, for a quiet break; this is the place. Exceptional host Laurent, gave tips on what to do and how to get to places etc. Advise to rent a car as taxis will be costly if you’re coming in and out. All in all wonderful service and great value for money

A wonderful stay!

It was a wonderful stay on Monte Borboleta with a wonderful view of the sea. Many thanks to Laurent for the tips about restaurants, supermarkets and nice places to visit. Breakfast was lovingly served to us by Shéra every morning on our terrace. What more do you want? Of course, all precautionary measures relating to Covid 19 were taken into account. Since we had our e-bikes with us, the gate was also secured with an extra lock, thanks again to Shéra! We will definitely come back again !!

THE place to relax and calm down in a wonderful resort with a spectacular view from the pool

A very well and tastefully furnished resort to calm down, relax and enjoy the spectacular view from the terrace and pool. The cozy lounge and pool area invites easily to step back from everyday life. Perfectly located in the middle of the calm nature. The owner Shera was such a lovely and helpful person who gave us every day fantastic recommendations for shopping, dining and holiday activities. We much appreciate her advises and the very nice chats with her.
