Very nice apartment with the most beautiful view of Kotor Bay and Old Town. Doable walk to restaurants in Old Town. Great pool - clean and with noce view of the bay. Good contact with owner and agent. VERY recommendable. Will definetely come back. Kotor is a town with the most beautiful soul!!

Beautiful view and nice apartment with pool. There are so many sheets and blankets (unnecessary) that shelves for our clothing were very limited. No microwave in kitchen; pretty limited cookware if you plan to prepare meals. Check in/out communication was very limited. Information about the area also limited and very dated.

Wonderful place to stay with the most amazing view. Very well appointed apartment with all facilities and a very short walk to the sea. Evening walks to the old town are easy. Thanks, we will definitely try and return.

This is an excellent choice if you want to stay in Kotor. The view from the apartment is incredible, opposite the waterfront, cruise liners and town, not to mention the beautiful mountains. It really is stunning, especially at night. The apartment is a good size and had everything needed for our stay. It's also very clean and has good air conditioning. There's quite a few steps to get to it so be aware of this.
The swimming pool area was lovely with ample sunbeds and it was never busy. The pool was a good temperature and very clean. I don't think the photos of the pool area did the listing justice.
Kotor and Montenegro are amazing, I certainly recommend getting a car to travel to all of the beautiful places. The road in Kotor is narrow and busy though, so give yourself plenty of time to get to your destination as it is quite congested at the roundabout near the town centre. Dining out is not cheap, but you can find less expensive places outside of the old town if you look.
The only thing I didn't like about the apartment was that we couldn't get the stereo to work (we'd brought our own Blutooth speaker so that was fine). One of the balcony chairs was broken too. Other than that everything was fine. Tamara was very helpful and met us as soon as we arrived, nothing was too much trouble.
Look out for the very cute grasshoppers that frequent the property, absolutely harmless, beautiful and fun to watch :)

The property is wonderful. The owner very helpful. The property management people were not.

The apartment matched the description exactly and was perfect for four people. The kitchen was modern and well equipped for all self catering needs. It was an added bonus to have Netflix and an up to date surround sound system. The pool was usually very quiet and well-looked after. We loved our stay here because waking up to the view over the bay of Kotor each day was just stunning. We spent hours on the balcony marvelling at the mountains, sky and sea. We had a fabulous time.

The apartment is comfortable and well-equipped. The shared pool is nice. The best thing is the balcony and view across the bay of Kotor to the Old Town -- great spot to have a drink or dinner. There are a few small things that would be nice to have -- hooks in the bathroom to hang wet towels, dish towels in the kitchen, and some basic information about the area, such as where to find the nearest grocery store. Also, guests do need to be aware that there are 80 steps to climb to reach the apartment. And that the walk into town is long-ish, with no pedestrian sidewalk/pavement for the first part, so you are dodging cars. But overall, a great stay!

Although we enjoyed Montenegro and the location of the apartment is convenient for Kotor and travelling around the region. The property did not reflect the listing as displayed.
We’ve been in correspondence with the owners and they’ve provided us an element of refund which we are completely satisfied with.
Unfortunately Our expectations were as per the listing of a very well finished clean and tidy apartment. Our experience was not reflective of the listing. The furniture on the balcony patio is very worn and patched up with gaffer tape, the bathrooms have not been fully cleaned, we spent five days of the holiday waiting for a fix to the fridge door which we were propping closed with a chair to keep our food fresh, The bedding certainly didn’t reflect the quality linens shown in the listing. Overall this distracted from what could’ve been a great holiday for us and the family.
I know the owner is now going to visit the property and look at rectifying the issues we highlighted.
Hopefully if you book to go in future you’ll find the property reflective of a revised listing.

Easy check in and airport transfers were arranged. The flat looks across a stunning view of the old town and mountains, which is about a 20 minute walk away. The walk home can be quite steep so a 3 euro taxi is advisable. The place has aircon and a communal pool to cool off in, which was lovely. Would stay again.

Great family apartment in Kotor
The property is clean and had everything we needed, especially good air conditioning. The view is mesmerizing and the pool is nice to have in the afternoon. Nice quiet neighborhood. About a 15 minute walk to Old City with a few markets along the way. Taxi is 4 Euros to town. Nicky and Gema are very responsive and accommodating, and had good recommendations for drivers (we did not need a car) and restaurants. Enjoy!

Great location but property needs a few updates
Great size, amazing location and air conditioning was a great bonus. Had a lovely time but was surprised there was no welcome pack as we arrived on Sunday and supermarket was closed to couldn’t even get a pint of milk. Balcony furniture had seen better days

Nice but Lots of steps.
The Agent was there to meet us and give us information which was nice, and he arranged all our transfers from airport.
View was amazing from the balcony, The pool was a lovley temperature. Apartment was well equipped, but lack of storage in bedrooms. The wardrobes were to cluttered with baby equipment blankets and cushions. So hanging clothes was difficult, we had to get everything out of wardrobes which made the apartment cluttered, and only One tiny bed side draw to share. Apartment was air conditioned but not in the main bedroom. The receptionist on site was very helpful for information and calling taxis, you could also buy bottles of water from her.
There are a lots of steps to the apartment 80 from bottom 40 from the pool. You do get used to them.
The rubbish had to be taken down to bins on the road into Kotor. Kotor was a lovely walled town with lots of shops and restaurants which were good, but wine can be expensive. We kept to the local wine at €15 a bottle which was very nice. Try to avoid going in to Kotor when the cruise ships are docked as it gets a bit busy. You can see them arrive and leave from the balcony.
There were a few local cafes and restaurants on the way to Kotor which was very cheap. Boat trips, are available but we did a private one which was arranged by the receptionist. There is a hop on hop of bus that travels to places around Kotor bay worth doing. Tickets from the kiosk outside main arch to Kotor. Taxis are very cheap. I would go back to Kotor area again to explore more places. There were lots of walks but it was too hot when we were there to enjoy walking.

Kotor
Fabulous location and apartment with amazing views across the bay. Great coffee machine and music system. Lovely pool and helpful staff at the complex, especially Delphine. Kotor is beautiful and not too far to walk from the apartment in the cooler hours but taxis are reasonable and friendly drivers.

Lovely apartment overlooking the beautiful bay of Kotor.
We had a very pleasant stay with amazing views. The apartment was very close to shops, bars and restaurants. Having a car was very useful and parking in Kotor itself was very cheap. We were also able to drive to Budva, Perast and up into the mountains. The scenery is spectacular everywhere.

Perfect location, great views and lovely apartment
It was a charming apartment with an incredible view. You need to have some level of fitness to handle the stairs and walk round the bay to old town Kotor (which isn’t far...a few drink stops along route). Really impresssed with Nicky and Alex who checked us in and out, all incredibly well organised. A perfect holiday.

Great apartment, lovely complex, near town, great views.
We spent 12 days in the apartment, everything there you could need. A very comfortable holiday home, nice beds and pillows. Excellent location. Lovely pool and always very clean (could do with some new sun umbrellas). Our only small criticism would be re the wardrobes in the apartment which were crammed full of ‘stuff’ leaving little space to actually hang our clothes on a minimal number of children’s hangers!!!
Kotor old town is very special especially in the evenings when the cruise ships have left, great restaurants usually with some sort of live music.
We did a full day tour of Montenegro through 360 Monte and what an excellent day, thoroughly recommend.
We didn’t hire a car and used Red Taxis as recommended by Andrew and they were great, only just over 2 euros to get into the old town from the apartment, 11 to Tivat and we wanted to go to a beach one day, didn’t know where to go and the taxi lady took us to a great spot and then came back to collect us late afternoon!! Excellent service.
All in all we had a superb holiday and loved Montenegro

Great apartment with amazing views
This is a very comfortable and well equipped apartment with amazing views from the spacious balcony. The beds were extremely comfortable and the apartment was very quiet at night. Even though we visited in mid July the two good sized pools were very pleasant and we could usually find spare sunbeds. The sunbeds were very comfortable too! Only areas for improvement would be to replace the wobbly doors on the shower cubicle and clear some of the spare bedding and cushions out of the wardrobes so guests have more hanging space. The apartment is located around 25 minutes walk from the old town of Kotor which wouldn't be a problem except that the first part of this walk is along a narrow and quite busy road with no pavements in some parts. We didn't hire a car so had to negotiate this walk a lot. We used to walk into town but get a taxi back. As others have mentioned taxis are very cheap at just 2 euros, but after a few nights we found this all quite tiresome. Our advice would be that to enjoy this location fully you really do need to hire a car. We enjoyed a boat trip to Perest and also had some nice meals in the old town.

Excellent apartment with stunning views and in a great location!
We would say this is one of the best positioned apartments in the Kotor View complex. It had by far the best views, was quiet and very well equipped.
A couple of days before we arrived we were notified of an electrical issue with the apartment, but the local agent (who was very helpful) found us a different apartment in the same complex for the first 2 nights until the issue was resolved. During our stay and on our return the owner communicated and offered to compensate us for the nights lost, and this was resolved very quickly and efficiently with him - very much appreciated.
Overall, the apartment is of a very high standard. The master bed was exceptionally comfortable, and all other amenities in the apartment in very good condition and worked perfectly. We particularly loved being able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the sun and views all day round. It's a great bonus having the pool here, so if you wish you can choose to relax here all day rather than venture off to find a beach.
The old town of Kotor is about a 15/20 minute walk along a busy stretch of narrow road (to start), and then has a pavement. We favored walking to the town and catching a (very cheap) taxi back, but also did this both ways and couldn't fault the service!
Overall would recommend the apartment without hesitation. If you are looking to base your self catered holiday around the Old Town of Kotor area (but not stay in the 'thick of it'), this is the place for you!

Amazing Views
This is a lovely apartment with amazing views over the Bay of Kotor. It is situated on the opposite side of the bay from the old town, but only a 20 min walk, or a €2 Euro taxi ride, yes €2. We had a car which we collected at the airport but unless you intend to travel around a lot it is not necessary as taxis are so cheap and the apartment is only 15 mins max from the airport ( Tivat ).
The apartment is well stocked with all the essentials, kettle, toaster pans etc should you wish to eat in but again the prices in the locality are as cheap as you'll find anywhere in Europe. One real bonus was the bed, which was as comfortable a bed as we have stayed in for a long time.
There were plenty of sunbeds around the pool and it was rarely busy, pick your spot, even at 11am.
Our dealings with the owners were quick and efficient, as was our dealings with their agent in Montenegro, and don't worry about having to pay direct rather than through Home and Away, it makes it cheaper for us to visit this wonderful place

Fantastic view to die for!
It was a little stressful trying to meet this apartment's agent as we only got a message that his phone was out of service and no-one knew who he was at the pre-arranged meeting point, making us think that we had been scammed! A kind Montenegro lady got hold of him on her phone, a huge relief for us. I would suggest that holiday makers arrange to meet him at an arranged time as he said that the UK mobiles often don't work in Montenegro.
The apartment itself was beautiful with a fantastic view. It was so lovely sitting on the balcony watching the cruise ships, canoes and boats in the day time and Kotor lights at night. The highlights of our holiday was driving up to Lovcen for the fantastic views of the mountains, canoeing on the fjord, walking up the steps behind Kotor, having a look around Porto Montenegro at the extremely huge and expensive yachts, visit to Perast and the Lady of the Rocks, lazing by the pool with that fantastic view, and boating on Lake Skadar to see lots of wild birds including pelicans.
We didn't like the look of Budva as it looked very built up and too busy.
The apartment itself had most things that we needed. You do need to buy things like dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc as none of it is provided. There were no swimming pool towels or gowns on arrival, we had to contact the agent who brought them a couple of days later. There were plenty of sun loungers around the pool and there was always one for us. There are plenty of little coves to swim in, though not many beaches.
Our biggest disappointment with the apartment was that the DVD was broken on arrival. We were at the apartment for two weeks, but the owner decided not to replace it whilst we were there or have it mended! We had brought a couple of box sets with us to watch in the evenings as you can only get BBC news channel on the TV, so we're bitterly disappointed at his decision. On return from our holiday I emailed him, but he did not reply!
Don't let this put you off this apartment though, hopefully it would have been mended by now, the apartment is fantastic, we would highly recommend it. Relax and Enjoy!

A Truly Great Place To Stay
We had stayed in this group of apartments the year before and had a great holiday but we had heard while staying there that this particular apartment was the best one in this development. It also came with 2 very good bicycles, which is good for us being a cycling family. If you have 16 year-old daughters it is a very safe place to stay as you can happily let them go by themselves into Kotor, which is close by at any time of the day (except late at night).
There was everything you could possibly need in this apartment and it was extremely clean. The photos do not do it or the view justice. The beds, pillows and bed linen are of a high standard and fantastically comfortable. There is an excellent sound system, which you can watch films through much to my daughters delight. I could sit on the balcony for hours watching the boats come in and out while feeling very relaxed.
This was our 9th visit it Montenegro and this is the best place so far we have stayed with our children and we have already booked to stay here again next year.
I have seen other reviews about this apartment saying that the steps would be too much for someone ill. So I thought I would mention that I had just started to recover after being very ill and having an operation. I found all the steps very useful in starting to get me back onto the road to recovery, though there are quite a lot of them.

'Try writing a review without mentioning the view'
This was our second stay at Kotor Vista, although our first time in D5. For us the position at the top of the building gave this apartment the edge. It is good to be unconnected to neighbouring balconies, and of course 'The View' (there. I went and mentioned it) is enhanced by the height. Some reviewers disliked the stairs, but this was simply not an issue for us as four averagely fit adults.
The photos are a very accurate representation of the property, and all the facilities were of an excellent quality, notably the sound system which we made good use of. Just to mention that the air con in the second bedroom doesn't function properly but we coped okay without it. Personally, without getting super picky, I would find it very difficult to fault theapartment. However I would say that it would have been helpful to have been told that we needed to make a 150 euro deposit on arrival. I'm sure this is somewhere in the small print, but unfortunately we don't have a powerful enough magnifying glass:)
Some have said that a car isn't necessary to stay here, but in our experience, as people who choose to get out and see the area, we felt it was essential. There are some lovely hidden 'Beaches' on the Lustiche peninsula, for which you need a car and a strong nerve to reach, the roads being somewhat tricky. Also we went up to the Lovcen national park, which is certainly worth the car rental. A fun thing to do is to take kayaks out from Kotor town. Look out from the apartment window to a big sign saying Primorac - the kayak hire place is on the beach to the right. It's inexpensive and very well run - a great way to see more of the Boka.
In short, we loved it, would most certainly return, and have already heartily recommended it to friends.

AMAZING HOLIDAY
What can I say! Absolutely perfect in every way. We only got home yesterday after staying for two"baking hot" weeks in your superb apartment. The view took your breath away & we enjoyed both breakfast & pre dinner drinks on the balcolny. We did have a hire car for the whole time & did much travelling around & even stayed up in the mountains near Zabljak for one night & drove down the Tara kanyon which was fantastic. The bikes were an absolute joy & we got a lot of use out of them cycling around both sides of the bay & stopping for a swim & drinks at various times. The highlight has got to be Monty B which we were lucky enough to sail on twice. We did a sunset cruise on our first Sunday & then Katie & Tim (the owners) managed to fit us in with our friends who were staying in Dabrota, during our second week. It was a truely amazing experience & Katie & Tim are a delightful couple & were perfect hosts.
Although we were out & about most days , it was so nice having such a wonderful apartment to come back to each evening plus extremely comfy beds to give you a perfect nights sleep.
Many, many thanks for the use of fabulous apartment that is extremely well equiped, & we would definately recommend your property. Kotor is an amazing hidden gem!
Wishing you continued success

Pretty good, however...
In general, we would endorse previous reviews. There are, however, a few qualifications, but we’ll concentrate first on the positives, which are many.
The apartment is well-equipped and comfortable, and we particularly appreciated the excellent sound system; it was a delight to sit on the balcony in the evening with a glass or three of wine, watching the ever-changing Kotor bay, with Bach in the background. There are plenty of decent restaurants in the Old Town, although there was a distinct lack of local cuisine.
To be honest, we didn’t explore much, partly due to the summer heat and partly due to feeling extremely comfortable, relaxed and lazy in the apartment. Tivat is worth a few hours, but Porto Montenegro is a soulless concrete abomination. (Incidentally, the local buses plying the Kotor–Tivat route look pristine externally, but they are not air-conditioned. Although they were fun, in the peak season and in the early afternoon they can very hot and slow.)
Generally, then, we enjoyed our time in Kotor, which is an astonishing place. However, we have a few reservations:
1. Although we would guess that less than half the apartments were occupied, there were not nearly enough sunbeds around the pool; moreover, the parasols are of such poor quality that anything more than a hint of breeze made them unusable (and it does get quite breezy). With temperatures in the low 30s, this made pool-lazing difficult;
2. The apartment description rightly states “not suitable for elderly or infirm”, however, this somewhat understates the situation. Approaching on foot, once you leave the coast road, you are faced with a sharp incline for perhaps 100 metres, after which you have 120+ steps to reach the apartment (which does, nevertheless, afford you with fantastic views from its elevated position). It is true that you can circumvent some of this by getting a taxi back from town, but it is often nice to stroll back after a meal. Although we are approaching retirement age, we would certainly not describe ourselves as “old or infirm” – indeed, we regularly walk in the Peak District over challenging terrain – but we found the ascent hard going at times. Would we have still booked had we known about this? Hard to say, although if we hadn’t have come, we’d have missed what was in general a very good holiday.
In summary then, a great place if you’re fit and healthy, but don’t bank on relaxing by the pool (at least in August).

Wonderful apartment, Beautiful montenegro
Just returned from a wonderful two weeks staying in this lovely apartment. There was everything you could possibly need and very clean. The photos do not do it justice. We spent many happy hours drinking the lovely local wine sitting on the balcony admiring the view. The pool area was great and never too busy. This was our first time (Myself, husband and 16 year old daughter) in Montenegro and will definately not be our last. We didnt hire a car and relied on buses and local taxis to get about. Both were extremely cheap and easy to use. We made use of the bikes provided to explore along the fjord, discovering some great seafood restaurants. The whole booking process was a pleasure with great communication. We flew from Edinburgh to Dubrovnik and Roger arranged for a driver to pick us up and take us back for 75 euros each way. We look forward to returning to beautiful montenegro and staying at this apartment again. The only negative was that we had to leave.

Wonderful!
What an amazing place - apartment excellent, many extras to make your stay enjoyable. Excellent customer service from the owners. Breath taking views of the mountains and Kotor that can be experienced from the apartment; even better whilst sitting on the balcony - this is even more exquisite in the evening when the wall around Kotor lights up. Many places to visit by car or using local transport. I wanted a relaxing holiday, a place where I could eat good food, drink nice wine, forget the time and leave the stress of every day life behind. I found it at Kotorska Apartment, Muo I would certainly recommend this apartment to my friends and family.

Fantastic Views
The apartment was exactly as described. Very well equipped, very clean and comfortable. The views from the balcony were amazing and one of the highlights of the holiday. We spent hours sipping our G &T's watching the ever changing scenery and liners/yachts entering the port. The pool was spotless and along with the pool area was cleaned every day. It was lovely to walk around the old town in the evening and enjoy a drink or meal in one of the squares. We ate the best fish soup and fresh fish at a small resturant at the side of the bay a few miles down the road. The red taxis were a cheap way of getting around if you didn't want to drive.

amazing!
This apartment really lived up to its description! we were all very impressed!
Not only were the views over Kotor bay staggering but it was very clean, tastfully decorated and furnished it was also very well equipt with everything you could need. The beds were comfortable and a nice little touch of bath robes made us feel very comfortable!
The location was fantastic for exploring the region!
We ate at some lovely local reastaurants, but i have to say our most enjoyable meal was at a local hotel about a mile down the road the food was great and very reasonably priced. We did however nickname it Falty Towers due toi the funniest waiter in the world!!! He could have been Basil !

Kotor what a magic place.
The apartment and views are even better in real life. We could have spent all day looking out over the old town and watching the boats on the water. No need to hire a car. Traveled to Budva by bus, well worth a visit. Eating out is good value. For something special try the Astoria. Roger the agent is good for information and is contactable by text and always replies. The apartment is finished to a high standard, the pool is cleaned every day by the on site staff who are also friendly and good contacts for information on the area. Local shop is a short walk away. A walk up the fortress walls is a great way to see the whole area. I would have no problem recommending this apartment to anybody. Too many other highlights to mention.

Fantastic Location, Wonderful Apartment
I had the pleasure of staying in this apartment for a week in early May 2010, and it was an absolute pleasure. The apartment is extremely well-appointed and very comfortable, well maintained and clean. Breakfast on the balcony was something to look forward to after a superb night's sleep. The unobstructed view across to Old Kotor and the Fortress is spectacular, and the occasional visits of cruise liners to the harbour there adds to the vista.
Travelling about the district is easy, using the cheap red taxi service. The climb up the mountain to the old Fortress has to be attempted, and the views from there are no less spectacular. Eating out in Montenegro is also a pleasure. There are splendid restaurants in Old Kotor and the vicinity and the wines are particularly good.
Language is usually no problem. Most people appear to be multilingual to varying but adequate degrees, and the local people are very friendly and helpful. The complex history of this region is everywhere evident, and in-depth cultural investigations are very rewarding.
As a geologist, the stunning scenery was enjoyable to me in more ways than one. For those visitors with a natural science bent, investigations in this field would be worthwhile.
If it were possible, I would return tomorrow.
