The place was great again. Second year in a row staying here. We love the view of the mountains and the lake from the living room and patio. The hot tub and indoor pool are also a nice bonus. We plan on staying here every year we come to this part of Virginia. Thanks Roger 😁

Everything was great, except the bedroom carpet needs replaced. Dirty in entrance to the room and spots thru out. Lovely neighborhood well kept

Perfect 4 night romantic getaway to this Penthouse Condo. Lots of amenities like a gym, 2 pools, sauna, hot tub, boat launch, sandy beach and amazing sunrises/sunsets. Fabulous on-site restaurant, Napolis on the Lake. Definitely order the Bourbon Chicken 🙌. We highly recommend Roger’s place and look forward to returning soon!

Everything was perfect. My nephew got married this weekend at Bernard’s Landing. The grounds there and the condo where we stayed were absolutely beautiful. We could just walk out the door and right on over to the outside venue. Perfect location for all things outside! Will definitely come back!

I had a wonderful 3 night stay at this property. Loved the views of the lake, mountains and lengthy grounds outside the balcony. Communication with the host was top notch. I hope to stay here again in the future.

We had the best time at Roger’s place on the lake. It was exactly as described, well stocked, and very clean. Not to mention, the views were probably the best I’ve ever had on the lake and I’ve been coming to SML for over 10 years. My fiancé and I will be getting married at Bernard’s Landing next year and will absolutely be booking Roger’s place again.

Our perfect anniversary get away! What a beautiful place to spend your anniversary! Beautiful scenery, excellent accommodations,many wonderful eateries ! We will definitely return next year for another anniversary!

Well equipped facility with a stunning view from balcony. Lots of nature visited us: bluebirds, squirrels, including an 'angel' squirrel (albino), deer and some water birds. The only issue was the washing machine with an imbalanced tub that was very noisy. We would visit this place again!

We arrived and the room wasn't cleaned from the previous guests. I reach out to Roger and he called back promptly. He had the cleaner right out and we went for a swim in the pool. We had a very nice stay and really enjoy the place.

My husband and I left our children away for some regroup time. Rogers place was so nice and relaxing. We rented a boat from Parrot Bay and ate at the restaurant Napoli by the lake twice.

When I walked in it was just as the pictures showed it. Very clean, deer we’re in the front yard every morning.I would definitely stay there again.

This condo was great for my husband and I for a weekend getaway with our boat. The local restaurant in Benard's landing was out of this world- pool, docs, and location was perfect. Could not have asked for more.

Roger’s place in Bernard’s Landing was absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed our beautiful view of the lake and mountains each night from our balcony and loved the convenience of having everything walking distance from the condo! We couldn’t have asked for a better place. Roger had the condo stocked with everything we could possibly need - ranging from bathroom necessities, extra towels/beach towels, kitchen plates and utensils, and so much more. We were so grateful for his recommendations of the local restaurants, gas stations, and activities to do. Everywhere we ended up going over the weekend was thanks to his list… all of which were absolutely wonderful. The local restaurant, Napolis on the Lake was our favorite… we ended up going there multiple times! This was our first trip to Smith Mountain Lake and our expectations were met and completely exceeded. The local kayak/paddleboard rental company even dropped off our rentals directly at the beach with all the necessary equipment we would need.. right behind the condo! So awesome!! We made so many great memories and are looking forward to making this an annual trip and can’t wait to come back next year!! Thank you so much, Roger, for being such a lovely host. We loved being in Bernard’s Landing and would highly recommend staying here to all of our friends and family.

We stayed 2 nights to attend graduation at Liberty University. It’s a drive and after dark, a challenging 45 minute drive from Lynchburg, but beautiful in the daylight. The host was wonderful and accommodations very nice!

I love Bernard’s Landing. I have stayed there many times over many years. I feel it is the best location in the lake. My recent visit did not disappoint! The owner was extremely responsive and considerate! This one bedroom unit is very nice and well appointed with everything you need for a restful vacation.
