About this house rental
This is the East Side of a huge oceanfront duplex, each side boasting 2500 square feet of very livable space -5 bedrooms, 5 baths, two large living areas, spacious kitchen and dining, huge front porch, and an extra large private pool that is shared only by the two sides of the duplex. For 2022 rentals, the kitchen has new cabinets and back splash, a new glass-top electric stove and a new French door refrigerator. All bathrooms have new LVT flooring, new and higher vanities, new and higher toilets, and new showers, tubs and faucets. The pool has been completely redone with a new bottom, new tiles, and a new surround. There is a new gas grill.

Enjoy an unimpeded vista of the Atlantic Ocean's blues and greens from the many windows and porches of this oceanfront house in beautiful Ocean Isle Beach.
This lovely home affords large comfortable rooms in its 2500 square feet. Plenty of space for people to gather for fun and fellowship, yet five bedrooms and five baths offer space for privacy as well. Upon arrival, you'll find the beds made with comfy linens and fluffy towels provided (see Note Two). A well-appointed kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook delicious meals. (Want to grill? Underneath the house, you will find both a charcoal grill and a gas grill.) A commercial ice maker provides all the ice you'll need. The large dining table seats ten, and the counter stools add seating for six more. The spacious living area feels even larger with nine-foot ceilings. Need another large space? The second floor sunroom affords ample seating and another TV and, best of all, a wide and unimpeded view of the ocean. The views from the large front porch and second-floor deck are gorgeous.
Start off your day sipping coffee while swaying back and forth in the gazebo swing. The oranges and reds of sunrise spell the beginning of a fun and colorful beach day! Whip up a yummy breakfast, then walk down the boardwalk of this mid-island house right onto the soft sands of the widest section of the island's beach.
Sunbathe and read, frolic in the tidal pools, body surf or ride the waves on boogie boards. Walk the beach and collect shells for miles in either direction. Want to check on what fisherman are catching? Drop by the pier which is just a five-minute stroll away. Interested in putt-putt, ice-cream, beach shops, restaurants, the coastal museum, or a brand new park? They are all within an easy ten-minute walk from this prime island location.
Ready for a dip in fresh water? This house offers one of the largest pools on the island with comfortable lounging chairs surrounding it. Need a beverage? Very spacious, well equipped and clean home. Modern kitchen to cook in, with all the essentials. Loved the deck full of rockers, the gazebo with swing overlooking the ocean and the short path to the beach. The pool was the icing on the cake for those days or times when you need a break from the sand. We did beach in the mornings, came in for lunch and then pool time in the afternoons. Worked great to keep 2 young boys occupied. Location of the house is great and the house is decorated beautiful. Wanted to give my parents a vacation with both of their children and all the grandkids. It could not have worked out better. The owners are super easy to communicate with and the property manager was easily accessible. Highly recommend!!!

This was a 4th time staying at Aurora and we had a wonderful time, as we always do. The house is perfectly located, extremely well-maintained, and perfect for our family. The recent renovations are very nice and make the house even more special. We love the convenience of walking to "downtown" Ocean Isle Beach, the private beach access, and the pool. We also appreciate that every bedroom has its own bathroom.
We are already making plans to stay at Aurora for our next OIB trip!

This was our families fourth year to return to this beach house. The house was clean and very accommodating for the 13 of us( 5 being children under 10. Our favorite gathering place is the porch. What a great view of the beach. We spent hours in the pool. We love that it’s within walking distance to everything. Once again it was a wonderful memorable vacation.

This was my first beach trip with my siblings in 25 years. It was to honor our late mother, so it had to be special. Casandra made everything so easy for us and this trip turned out much better than I anticipated! We loved the house and we plan to stay here again!

I cannot say enough good things about this oceanfront property. It was by far my most favorite place we've ever stayed. It was so clean and completely stocked with everything you could need. The linens were very nice and the beds were all so comfortable. Cassandra was very responsive. We will definitely be staying here again next year.

I hate to give this VRBO such a rave review because it may be too popular for us to book next time! Aurora was perfect for our family. It was exceptionally well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils, pool loungers and beach chairs. The location was within walking distance of everything. We had a few issues with the unit that could not have been anticipated or avoided, and Cassandra promptly did everything she could to remedy the situations. She was also always available for questions. Everything you could possibly want or need to make your vacation perfect had been thought of and provided. We won't look anywhere else the next time we visit OIB.

This is our 4th year staying at this house. My kids and grand kids love the easy walk to the beach and had hours of fun in the pool. It’s within walking distance to everything. The kitchen is well equipped. Our favorite spot is hanging out on the porch. We’re retuning again next year. It was a wonderful vacation.

The property and house were perfect. Lovely well-kept home, very clean, with beach decor and places to be together or separate. We were always on the back porch, at the beach or pool, or sitting in the swing closer to the beach. So happy we chose this property. We could hear and see the ocean waves which is what I wanted. Ocean Isle Beach is less busy and not as touristy as nearby areas. I would highly recommend this property and will be back to the same place if possible in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Aurora. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great, but we still enjoyed ourselves. There was plenty of space for everyone and we especially enjoyed the large porch and rockers.

It was exactly what we needed for our group of all-ages! There was plenty of space for everyone to do what they enjoyed from playing cards on the cool rainy morning, playing in the pool in the rain why the adults watched from the covered porch, an easy walk to Sunset Slush - a huge hit for all. The house as a whole was stocked well; but, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need (except a Keurig, hint, hint). We will be reaching out to rent it again next year!

This was our first time in OIB and our family absolutely loved the location as well as the house. The bedrooms and private bath for each bedroom was a definite plus. The pool was wonderful. Our family does "Peaks and Pits" on the last evening and I think everyone commented on the house being in a great location with lots of activities nearby and the overall comforts in the house. This was an awesome rental for our family of 10 adults and 4 children. We particularly liked the pool and being right on ocean. Each couple having their own bedroom and bathroom was a priority. We will certainly book this rental again in 2 years when we have a family reunion again.

We rented both sides of the duplex. Both were great. Multiple families, so together, but separate was nice. Walking distance from shops and activities is awesome. Will stay again.

Best beach vacation
The property was wonderful. All the extra little touches that they had made things even more special. The property was super clean and accommodated our family perfectly with lots of extra room. If it wasn’t for the kids sports next year in the spring we would have rebooked today for next year. The owner of the home was a joy to deal with and communicated and answered all questions. This property was in a great location and you can walk to most places quickly. We look forward to a further stay at this wonderful beach house!
