Très belle halte

L’emplacement en plein centre, la terrasse avec une magnifique vue sur les 3 cités,la gentillesse du personnel, le petit déjeuner copieux et varié.

Les toilettes et lavabos au niveau de l’entrée de notre chambre, la douche et le lit au niveau supérieur avec un escalier en colimaçon. Les chambres sont bruyantes le soir car elles donnent sur la rue très animée avec les cafés et les restaurants.

War einfach traumhaft!

Die Zimmer und überhaupt das ganze Hotel waren so liebevoll eingerichtet, die Mitarbeiter extrem freundlich und bemüht und auch das Frühstück war einfach traumhaft! Die Lage ist perfekt zur Erkundung der Stadt, liegt mitten im Zentrum. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Une ville avec un patrimoine historique exceptionnelle, grosse animation le soir...

Excellent emplacement dans Valetta sur une rue animée et sympathique, le personnel est très accueillant Les chambres sont grandes et la déco originale, vraiment beaucoup de charme.

Le petit dèj pourrait être un peu plus complet, il manque les œufs entre autre.

Un sogno nel cuore de La Valletta

Tutto. Struttura bellissima: camera ampia e spaziosa, bella e funzionale (eccetto che per la toilette che non offre molta privacy). Fantastico il balcone maltese. Lo staff è da 10 e lode, la colazione buonissima. Che dire? Uno dei posti migliori che ho trovato in giro per il Mondo.

Beautiful hotel , excellent staff and a lovely car to take us to the Cruise Port on day of departur.

Breakfast not great but everything else was lovely

The only thing that wasn’t for me was the breakfast. There was a good selection but nothing appealed to me . We only had it on one day and went out to get breakfast day 2 . Some toast would have been nice . I also had a fall in the bathroom, there is a raised step up to the toilet and I didn’t see it and landed on the floor .

Fab stay in a characterful property

An absolutely beautifully converted Valletta townhouse right in the midst of the action in what is a very buzzy and attractive city. The room was spacious and stylishly decorated and the whole hotel was filled with quirky details. We enjoyed the notes that were posted every day from the owners, and the surprise bowl of fresh fruit - a lovely touch! Staff were very sweet and helpful and the breakfast was very good, too. All in all, a fantastic stay in a characterful property.

It would have been nice to have real coffee as opposed to instant at breakfast. The aircon was reasonably effective but it would have been good to have a fan as well.

Beautiful traditional building with large comfortable rooms

Fantastic location in heart of Valletta. Met by Alex who was extremely friendly and helpful. Beautiful, large traditional room with unique features and furnishings. Complimentary still and sparkling water and fruit bowl delivered in the afternoon which are great extra touches.

Great place, perfect breakfast

Cute room, very comfortable bed, blanket and pillows. Location is outstanding and the breakfast absolutely amazing. We started looking forward to breakfast to enjoy the variety of good cheeses, fresh bread, maltese cakes and fruits. The staff is also very friendly. I fully recommend this place.

When we copied the address to google maps, it sent us somewhere else. When we called the number on booking, a man picked up and said it was not from valetta lucente guesthouse. Luckily they answered quickly on booking’s chat to help us out.

A nice stay, we recommend it to those looking for a unique experience.

The design and decorations of both the building and the room are superb! The whole atmosphere takes you back in time… Also the small gifts they provide such as fresh flowers, nightime mystery stories…complimenfaey water daily. So nice! The location of the hotel is amazing, next to it there are a couple of great restaurants.

The bed in our room (Aurora) was kinda small and the mattress so soft it actually caused us some backpain. Also my husband fell off the bed one night because of the position of the mattress on the bed frame. The room was pretty dark since the windows were facing an inner garden with little sunlight.

we liked the attention to detail with the swan shaped towels and little messages they left us. breakfast was extensive and fresh, with amazing decor.

Overpriced for what they offer, but in a beautiful historic building

Breakfast was a disappointment - tea and coffee were cold, coffee weak

Guest house was understaffed. Staff seemed new/ untrained. Particularly at breakfast.

Valletta is a lovely city and Valletta Lucente is excellently situated to explore its many delights

The location of Valletta Lucente is excellent, as the hotel is located close to St. John's Co-Cathedral with a lot of bars and restaurants on its doorstep. The breakfast was always fresh and very tasty with pastizzi baked daily (a local pastry which is delicious). We stayed in Layla on the top floor which had two fabulous terraces, one with a view of the Three Cities. The attention to detail with the decor of this room was also excellent and is a testament to Charlie's love for this historic building.

While our room was beautiful, the access steps to it was quite steep with the door at the top of it so it could be a bit precarious while trying to get the key in to the door. Also, there are a number of levels within the room so there are more steps inside the room. So if one is not sure footed or with poor vision, then these steps could pose a problem.

We really enjoyed our staying here, very nice and discreet owners. Everything it’s decorated with good taste, with attention to the details, as it is a boutique hotel (we stayed in Aurora room which it’s big and quiet and you really feel like home). Chapeau bas to the owners and to the very nice and kind staff serving breakfast. Many thanks 🙏🏻😊

Location was perfect, the staff were really friendly, and the breakfast was really good. Also really liked the building and the decor overall.

The bed was really uncomfortable - seemed quite old, sagged a lot in the middle, and the mattress was way too soft. Also, the lighting in the room was really low - too dark to read or apply make-up, even with all the lights on.

Almost claustrophobic!

The staff does everything to perform at the top, but the entire hotel is narrow, small, almost a very modern but not very functional tunnel. Room even arranged on three levels with many steps; the top of which is the wonderful view of the sea and the city.

Simply inadequate breakfast, not very international and very niche. To be consumed strictly in narrow and dimly lit spaces. Too bad because they go out of their way to make a good impression. And also the prices are completely inaccessible in the face of serious flaws.

Beauitul reno of a gorgous old building.Sun a bright and fun place to stay in a great position.

The propery was in a great position and was like walking into a kwirky art gallery. I loved the beautifully restored pieces of furniture, the space in each apartment (had 2), the views of the street below and the ease of getting out amongst the bars and restaurants.
